今天我讀了我們學校訂的一本叫典范英語的書的第一冊。我感覺次數可以鍛煉我們的英語能力，增強我們的英語閱讀能力。我總感覺非常的費力，但我還是很努力地讀了下來。

這一冊主要講述了海獅的故事。講述了一個海獅要參加圣誕晚會，但他沒有東西可以表演，他看見伙伴們練習的非常快樂，很羨慕。他的伙伴們也幫助他、鼓勵他，他始終海獅沒下起決心。到了圣誕晚會那一天，他看他的伙伴們表演，總覺得都很簡單，結果都把伙伴的節目搞砸了，為此，他非常慚愧。但他最終也找到了自己的強項。

這冊書既讓我們增強閱讀能力，也告訴我們一個道理，那就是要發想自己的長處，讓自己這個長處無限延長，并發揮出來，就可以把事情做得很好。而且我還想起了一件事。

小學時，我是班級公認的數學天才，因為我始終是很強，小學時就學到了初三的課程，我也知道這是我的長處，所以我不斷地延長，發揮，但最終我驕傲了，也許是這個原因吧，我數學的傲氣始終不能下降一點，小學也是，初中也是，所以這用告訴了我們不要讓自己這個長處使自己驕傲。

這本書讓我聯想到這么多，也是，這是一本非常好的書啊，別看是一本英文閱讀書，內涵多著呢！
