關于英語書面表達的教學反思

學生在做書面表達時出現的典型錯誤主要有以下幾個方面: 1.審題不認真,偏離主題。
2.抓不住寫作要點,文章內容混亂。
下筆前,需要列出內容要點,然后用英語把這些要點表達出來,最后連句成文,與要點有關的細節可適當發揮,畫龍點睛。有的學生抓不住重點,寫一些與要點無關的內容,更有甚者,摘抄閱讀理解的片段來蒙騙閱卷老師,結果丟了本不該丟的分。
3.用詞不準確,漢語式表達方式比比皆是。有的學生極力追求使用花哨的詞語,而忽視基本詞語,結果杜撰出一些錯誤百出的英語詞句來,使自己的成績大打折扣。
(1)常用詞拼寫錯誤嚴重。
(2)關鍵詞用錯。好多考生把關鍵詞,尤其是句中的動詞用錯。例如:An entrance fee shouldn’t be taken(應為charged).It will effect(應該用 affect)the face of the city.The money will be used to support(應為pay)the garden workers等等。
(3)受母語干擾嚴重。今年的書面表達題用到的詞匯和句型多為初中課本出現的,且使用頻率較高的基本詞匯,并不難。可是有些學生受漢語影響程度很深,盡寫出漢語式的英語句子,不合乎英語的習慣和語法。
4.語言基本功差,語法錯誤嚴重。
(1)時態、語態錯誤。在評卷過程中我們發現一部分考生語言基本功較差,分不清一般現在時與一般過去時使用的特定場合,有的通篇使用一般過去時,這與本題要求不符。另外,區分不開主動語態和被動語態,該用主動語態的句子,用了被動語態,該用被動語態的地方卻用了主動語態。如:The park must be built(應為must build)a gate and walls.The money will use(應為be used)to pay the garden workers.The park is needed(應該用needs)to build a gate等。
(2)句與句之間缺少必要的過渡詞語。一篇文章要想上下文連貫、通順,條理清楚,恰當地使用過渡語是非常必要的。過渡詞語能承上啟下,幫助讀者理清文章的思路,密切句子之間的邏輯關系,從而使整段文字銜接自然、流暢。但是有相當數量的考生不會使用but, so, however, because, on the other hand, what’s more, besides 等過渡詞語,致使所寫文章前后不連貫,條理不清楚,重點不突出。
(3)句子結構錯誤,語序不當。例如,有的學生這樣寫:40% students against /againsted the idea.The result as follows?.There are sixty percent students think?.If charged an entrance fee? The entrance fee shouldn’t very high.(4)句子類型單一,用詞呆板。有不少學生通篇用簡單句、陳述句、小短句,不會使用較復雜的句子,如強調句、倒裝句、主從復合句和固定句型,因而文章顯得單調乏味,檔次不高。
三、書寫不規范,卷面不整潔。主要表現在:(1)字母大小不均,難以辨認。(2)不會按移行規則移行。(3)標點符號使用不當。從2000年起,書面表達題采用新的評分標準,規定“拼寫與標點符號是語言準確性的一個方面”。評分時,應視其對交際的影響程度予以考慮。有的學生受漢語影響,每寫一句話就點一個逗號,無法辨認應該在哪兒斷句,還有的學生根本不會正確使用英語標點,如逗號、句號和句號等。(4)字跡潦草,卷面不整潔。書面表達要求學生具有書寫規范化的能力。所謂書寫規范,要求字跡清楚、工整,卷面整潔,美觀大方。但遺憾的是,在評卷過程中,我們發現有相當多的考生的書寫是不盡人薏的。究其原因:一是平時不注意書寫訓練,沒有養成良好的書寫習慣,二是答題時間緊張,書寫太快所致,結果字跡潦草,卷面不整潔,影響了考生的實際成績。
四、書面表達題應試對策。高考英語書面表達是以文章內容要點,語言是否得體及字數作為評分依據,而更側重語言的表達。考生在進行書面表達訓練時,應注意以下幾點:
1.認真審題。審題是做好書面表達的關鍵。考生對寫什么,怎么寫,在頭腦中必須有一個清晰的思路。
2.在平時訓練中應在譴詞造句上多下工夫。從詞語上,盡可能運用自己學過的,并且是比較熟悉的詞語。從句式上,力求使句式多樣化,如強調句、倒裝句、各種從句及常用句型與長短句交互使用,豐富自己的表現力,同樣的意思盡量用多種方法表達。
3.句與句之間恰當地使用一些過渡詞語,使上下文連貫、順暢。4.寫完后,認真檢查、核實、校正,將錯誤降低到最低限度

英語的書面表達教學曾經是我在教學過程中十分棘手的一個問題,英語的書面表達和語文的小作文相似,它要求的篇幅十分短小,僅限于150個單詞或150個字。但“麻雀雖小,五臟俱全”,要在這么短小的一片文章里表達清楚一件事,或闡明一種觀點的話,不僅要求學生有高度的概括能力,而且要求學生有熟練的駕馭英語的能力。在教學過程中我一直在分析學生寫作中存在的問題,摸索確實可行的方法,創造可能的條件,最大可能的提高學生的寫作能力。
學生面臨的寫作困難主要有以下幾個方面:1.心里因素的制約。一部分學生根本不重視書面表達,因為初中時所養成的定勢思維,初中時書面表達很簡單,根本不需要去刻意的練習。還有一部分學生認為英語書面表達難寫。他們認為英語寫作提高耗時長、見效慢;另外,學生在寫作過程中詞匯缺乏,所掌握的基本技能很有限。2.寫作內容單調。對大多數學生而言,幾乎在作文中都體現出內容貧乏,思路狹窄、不開闊。3.寫作技巧欠缺。不少同學動筆前沒有審題、構思的習慣,提筆就寫,邊想邊寫,東拼西湊,語無倫次,根本沒有使文章主題與段落和句子連為一體的整體概念。另一方面,學生在寫作時只注意單句的意思表達,而忽視了句子的邏輯關系。分析了學生的主要問題之后,我就有意識地對學生進行寫作重要性的教育,并通過立足教材和活用教材,重視挖掘,拓寬學生寫作的渠道,指導學生進行高效的英語寫作練習。
一、重視學生平時的積累。
書面表達注重學生綜合運用語言的能力,從高一就要抓起,指導學生養成良好的語言習得習慣,著重打好語言學習基礎,尤其是詞句的練習。此外,還要采取一些方法培養學生的語感和筆頭寫作能力。
1、背誦課文中含有語言點的句子、段落,含有主旨句的段落,并且進行仿說、活用。這樣做不僅可以幫助學生理解課文,記憶重要的短語、句型,而且還可以積累話題寫作內容和培養語感。
2、積累短語詞匯。詞匯是說話寫作的必需材料要求學生每天運用聯想、發散等方法記憶一定量的單詞。在詞匯教學中,堅持用英語解釋新單詞,注意同義詞和同詞根的積累,開發學生發散性思維。例如:見到短語as a matter of fact(事實上)這個短語時,就可以讓學生寫出所有的表達這個意思的詞和短語,有in fact ;in actual fact;in reality以及副詞actually。并且要求學生造句,在句子中記住它們。
3、收集英語中寫作的各種題型的格式和篇章結構,尤其是一些實用文體如書信、邀請函、通知、口頭通知等。背誦開頭和結尾的優美句型。
4、堅持一句多譯練習。開發學生發散性思維,堅持表達方式多樣化的練習。如:會議結束了,就可以翻譯為:

their meeting to an end.They brought an end
to their meeting.5、限時訓練,集中精力,一氣呵成。在限定時間內,一般是20分鐘,完成寫作、修改,定稿和謄寫任務是有一定難度的,所以平時注重限時訓練,養成良好習慣,時刻提醒同學要善于避生就熟,“曲線”表達,但切記中文式英語,要善于英語思維。
二、加強英語寫作步驟的教學。
在教學中,一直向學生強調要想拿高分就要取悅于閱卷老師。閱卷老師喜歡的文章:字體工整,卷面整潔,緊扣主題,條理清晰;語言地道,過渡自然;長度適中,一氣呵成。而討厭的文章:層次不清,段落不分;語句不通,雜亂無章;書寫潦草,卷面不清。在教學中應根據教學內容設計使用一系列教學活動,提高學生的寫作技能。
第一步:審題構思,明確體裁和格式。在平時寫作訓練中,讓學生明確常見的幾種文體和格式,教師應該結合課文分類,按題材歸納,通過對各種文體的分析,掌握各種文體所需語言材料,促使學生熟悉英語篇章的常見結構,使學生熟悉不同文體的構成要素和不同要素的層次結構。只有這樣學生寫作時才會得心應手。
第二步:抓住要點,一一對應。要點齊全是得高分的關鍵,要點遺漏要扣分。一般為5~8個要點,加一些次要點構成一篇文章。可用列提綱式或關鍵詞列出,以防遺漏。
第三步:遣詞造句,句式靈活多變。教師應該幫助學生選擇豐富多彩的語言材料。這些材料能夠調動學生的興趣,在潤物無聲中豐富學生的語言知識,提高學生的語感,開闊學生的文化視野。在閱讀中,有意識的對各種從句、倒裝句、強調結構、虛擬語氣等語言形式進行分析、欣賞和積累對于學生形成英語語感、準確表達自己的思想有很大的幫助。從而為從根本上迅速提高學生書面表達能力打下扎實的基礎。僅僅做到這些還不夠,讓學生的作文亮起來還要注意:
1、用詞要亮,要簡潔,不重復,要生動。
2、避免漢語式英語。如:The fish doesn’t smell fresh.不能寫成:The fish
smells not fresh.3、造句要亮:可以有意識地在文中使用非謂語動詞形式、倒裝句、虛擬語氣、省略句及with的復合結構等句式,使文章更有表現力和感染力。如:
A strong storm hit/struck in our city last week要比A strong storm happened in our city last week生動活潑的多。
又如:Only by working hard can we succeed要比We can succeed by Working hard更富有說服力。
4、句間和段間過渡要亮。要在文章中段間、句間恰當使用一些表示過渡性的詞語。如:表轉折用but,however,nevertheless,yet,while,though,although,on the contrary等;表原因用because,since,for,以及介詞短語because of,thanks to,due to,owing to等;表個人觀點用in my opinion,as far as I concerned,personally,from my point of view,I think等還有其他的英語中表示上下文邏輯關系的詞,使文章有機地結合在一起成為一個完整的整體。
第四步:規范作文 的篇章結構。作文基本格式很重要,三段式仍需強調:開頭段—開門見山,點明主旨;主體段—銜接自然,內容連貫;可以由一個或一個以上的自然段組成,主要是以說明事由、敘述事件為主體,應該詳細寫。結尾段—簡潔有力,首尾呼應。這三段渾然一體,不可分割。這就要求學生會用恰當的過渡詞和過渡句使文章承上啟下,流暢通順。
總之,英文寫作是一個學生綜合能力的書面體現,是一個長期復雜的訓練過程。只有堅持不懈地把學生綜合能力的培養貫穿于日常的教學活動中,在寫作教學中不斷探索和創新,才能打破傳統寫作教學的模式,達到一個新的高度。教師要將閱讀、翻譯和寫作技能的培養結合起來,加強對語言基本知識和基本技能的訓練及中西思維差異的對比研究,這樣才能使中學生的英語寫作水平得到全面提高。培養學生的寫作能力不是一蹴而就的,需要教師在平時就從學生的實際水平出發,有目的、有機會、有要求、有檢查、有反饋地進行訓練,由易至難,循序漸進。只有這樣,學生到高考時才能做到厚積薄發,思如泉涌,下筆如有神。

英語的學習包括聽、說、讀、寫四項基本訓練,而英語寫作是一種最全面的綜合性訓練,涉及到社會、文化背景、生活方式、風俗習慣等,它不僅有助于掌握這門語言,而且也有較大的實用價值。在高考英語試卷中書面表達分值是25分。可是英語書面表達部分卻是令學生最頭痛的部分。尤其是高中生,由于他們英語基礎薄弱,造成大多數學生對英語寫作產生懼怕的心里。每次寫作文時,不是犯這樣的錯誤,就是犯那樣的錯誤。甚至有些學生在考試中放棄了這部份的得分機會。因此,加強學生的寫作能力培養勢在必行。
經過一番考慮之后,我對所任教班級學生英語學習情況進行調查,了解學生在英語寫作中所存在的問題,學生們的困惑很多,比如說,不知道該用哪一種時態,該用哪些單詞和短語,該怎樣連詞成句,因此會犯許多錯誤:主語中的、謂語動詞中的、賓語中、狀語中的、定語中的、詞法方面的錯誤以及標點符號的錯誤等等
面對學生的這么多疑問,我覺得要提高學生的英語寫作水平應該變以往的教學手段。根據學生對英語基礎知識點的掌握程度,有計劃的進行引導,訓練。
(一)句型訓練。寫作訓練從詞法,句法知識入手,結合課本的一些重點單詞,短語,進行五種基本句型的造句練習。例如:
S+V — The First World War broke out in 1914, S+V+O — We’re leading a happy life.S+V+P — The mixture tastes terrible.S+V+O(I)+O(D)— Mr Brown will give us a talk this afternoon, S+V+O+C — We should make our classroom clean and tidy.(二)改寫對話。以第一人稱或第三人稱的口氣講述并寫下已學過的對話內容。在改寫中只要在理解原對話的基礎上,給主要的句子換上一個主語即可。這樣循序漸進的寫作訓練,理解主題,抓住要點的閱讀能力會逐漸增強,詞語,句型的運用能力也會大大提高。
(三)連詞成句,連段成篇,看圖作文等創造性的練習。
進行這方面的訓練應循序漸進。注意先易后難,先學會運用 簡單句,并列句,讓后學會用復合句表達;先寫句子,讓后過度到圍繞一個人,一件事,一個觀點去寫文章,由不限定時間到限定時間,由字數少到字數多,由模仿到創造。除了正確引導,有計劃訓練外,批改也是書面表達訓練的一個重要環節。批改的藝術性和反饋的及時性則是吸引學生的學習興趣,激發寫作積極性.提高寫作水平的原動力之一。優化評改則是批改藝術性和反饋及時性的體現。優化評改,一則要求批改要形式多樣,靈活運用,如,全批、小組批改、面批、學生互改、對照范文修改等。而且,盡量讓每個學生都能得到面批的機會,當面詳細指出他們的優點和需改進的地方,讓學生感到老師在注意、重視他,這會促使學生在一定程度上對寫作給予重視,更加投入;二則除了指出錯誤和不足外,應盡可能多用一些表揚、鼓勵、感動的評語激發他們的寫作熱情。發現優秀習作時,將其修改后當堂朗讀或張貼在教室的習作欄進行展覽,抓住一切可表揚的機會鼓勵學生;再者,批改一定要及時,最好趕在學生急于知道結果時發還;最后.將改時隨手記下的錯誤加以歸類總結,對典型的、普遍性的錯誤要詳細講解。
經過兩年的實踐已初步形成了高三英語書面表達訓練的基本模式,但由于時間有限,方法也不夠完善和全面,各方面都還需要進一步的充實和擴展。這些都有待于在今后的教學實踐中不斷探索、總結和逐步規范。

反思自己的書面表達教學,我覺得成功的地方就是:目的明確,就是為了高考,效果也算是明顯。在較短的時間內,讓學生的作文由不成樣子變得“形似”,還是利于學生卷面分數的提升的。寫作方法的指導也是穿插其中的。例如:幫助學生歸納短文大意并且成文的;如何做提綱;如何寫標題;如何發表自己的觀點并且用實例或者論據來證明自己的觀點等……。
有待改進的地方:1。大部分時候的寫作教學模式是一個“范文學習、寫作、批改”的線性過程。教學方法僅僅表現為“學生單獨寫作、教師單獨評閱”這樣一種單向交流的模式。在整個教學過程中,學生基本上都是處于一種被動的狀態,缺乏師生、生生之間的交流、互動,課堂教學模式單一。2。對學生寫作策略的指導不夠。3。書面表達的批改方式僅采用全批法。不但工作量大,而且很多時候由于各種工作堆積在一起而沒能及時的批閱。
