On the late evening of January 20th,my mother and I sent my two-year-old sister to hospital.The road was quite slippery because of the falling snow.We waited for a bus for a long tiem,but it didn’t come.We were all shivering with cold.We had to give up.While we were walking along the street,a car stopped beside us suddenly.The young driver said to us,“I have a child,so I understand how difficult it must be for you to take the child out in such bad weather.”

Then he asked us where we should get off.We arrived at the No.43 bus stop in Dongdaqiao,where the bus might take us to the hospital.It happened that a bus was just leaving.So he drove to the next stop to catch the bus.We got on the bus quickly.But there was no time for us to say goodbye.However,I was deeply moved.I’ll never forget the kind man.Visiting the Great Wall

Wall is not a true man.”This morning my classmates and I got up early to visit the Great Wall.We went there by car.On our way to the Great Wall,we saw many tall buildings on both sides of the road.About two hours later,we arrived at the Great Wall.When the Great Wall appeared in front of us,we couldn’t help crying,“What a wonderful sight it is!How great it is!” When we walked on the Great Wall we felt very proud.Because it’s the longest wall in the world.Today it has become a place of interest to the people all over the world.After visiting the Great Wall,I’ve made up my mind to study harder than ever.

A Crime Happened on the Campus

Yesterday,two thieves were caught by the police when they were stealing some equipment from a school lab.The stealing

occurred at 12:30 last night,during the heavy storm,when all the people were sleeping.Two thieves broke into a room on the second floor where they discovered some expensive equipment.Just as they were carrying the equipment out of the building,the doorkeeper heard the sound and caught sight of them.He immediately called the police station near the school.Twenty minutes later,both thieves were caught.The police warned everyone to be careful of thieves.

My English Teacher

Our English teacher Mrs Zhang is an ordinary-looking,grey-haired women wearing a pair of glasses.She is about fifty-five years of age.She looks rather thin.After the preliminary test of English,we began to complain in our dormitory.She was too strict with us,we thought.On that day,she seemed very disappointed when she announced the names of the students who had failed in the test.Most of them felt humiliated and depressed.Every other day,when Mrs Zhang gives the lessons,we are so nervous!She is a person of impatient personality.We are often made to stand up to repeat the long sentences she reads only once or twice.Usually we missed some words or even forgot the whole sentence.So there would be nothing left we could do but stand there unable to say anything.We said to ourselves,“Gash!We have never expected that teachers in high school would be so strict!”How unfortunate we were！

But my opinion of her soon changed.One morning we were having our morning calss as usual.In the course of class,I learned that my teacher had left for school at six o’clock.Because of the traffic accident,she had to walk to school for almost forty minutes.At six o’clock!Dear me!I was still in my dream at that time!I was deeply moved,so were some others.Gradually we come to see that our teacher loves us dearly though she never speaks it out.She corrects our homework so carefully and seriously.When we have made a bit progress,we can find she is as happy as we are.She is responsible for her work and is qualified to be a good teacher.We are proud of her and have made up our minds to work harder.My Best Friend

My mother has a pair of quick eyes which can speak.When I suffer setbacks,her eyes seem to say,“Be brave,dear!”

Zhou Enlai was born in Huai’an,Jiangsu,on March 5,1898.In 1917,he finished school in Nankai Middle School,and then went to France to learn Marxist Theory.In 1922,he joined the Chinese Communist Party.After that,he was active in his work and directed the Party work in Shanghai.He led the famous uprising——Nanchang Uprising on August 1,1927.Then he took part in the Long March.From 1937 to 1945,he worked in South China.After the People’s Republic of China was founded,he was elected Premier of China.He put all his heart into the work and always worked until midnight.He had no time to think about himself,but only the Chinese people.Premier Zhou died on January 8,1976.The whole nation was in deep sorrow at his death.For he was loved by all the people.Our beloved Premier Zhou will always be alive in our Chinese people’s hearts.He was a great Marxist and communist.
