2011年6月2日,史蓉蓉老師受邀給同學們開主題班會,史老師與大家一起來分享學習英語的經驗與快樂,領悟人生的成功和失敗。

在班會中,史老師講述了自己與英語交流的人生,包括自己考研的歷程。通過自己的人生經歷 給我們即將報考英語四級的同學很多經驗,如何在生活和學習中快樂的學習英語,在英語學習中,包括雅思、托福類別英語考試,在英語學習和考試中,我們怎樣才能正面對待,不懼怕英語考試等問題,史老師都做了詳細的回答。

史老師作為中北大學的一位英語老師,在課堂中展現了她熱愛英語、熱愛生活的態度,在場的同學都能體會到史老師對英語的無線追求。她無疑是我們心中的佼佼者,期間老師也講述了自己關于英語學習的酸甜苦辣,技巧心得,可謂難以一言盡訴。通過自己的故事,告訴我們,在學習英語的過程中需要自己付出百倍的努力,才能獲得自己想要的東西。

對于我的英語學習歷程一直都很艱難,英語水平不高的我,每次都很害怕英語考試。通過史老師講述自己的英語學習歷程,我懂得英語學習不需要死記單詞,需要在生活和書本上聯系實際來學習,英語水平差不要緊,最重要的是不要放棄,只要努力就會成功。我堅定了我現在的學習目標,在6月份的英語四級考試中,要發揮自己的水平,通過四級考試。

針對大家英語學習中的思維與口語的問題,周老師從生活中的小事說起,讓大家在他的幽默中領悟到英語學習的真諦,同時也給大家帶來了標準的英式口語,不時引來場下陣陣掌聲!

在老師的講述中,我們知道,從全世界來看,說英語的人數已經超過了任何語言的人數,英語在45個國家是官方語言,世界三分之一的人口講英語,75%的電視節目是英語,四分之三的郵件是用英語書寫,電腦鍵盤是英語鍵盤,任何一個會議敢號稱是國際會議,其會議工作語言一定要用英語。二十幾億人口都在說英語,比如在日本,除了他們的本**語——日語之外,由于其特殊的歷史背景,英語是他們的第二語言,很多高層次的日本人以會說英語為榮;我們還可以看到,很多官方的、政府性質的活動、文件、交流方式,處處體現出英語的重要性;另外,大多數國家的高等學府,大學院校,都開設英語語言文學專業,僅在中國,就有一百多所大學設有英語專業或英語相關專業;還有,電腦和互聯網,也是建立在英語的基礎上,這個行業的語言,就是英語,另外,在醫學領域、建筑領域、文學領域,都與英語有極大的關聯。

可見,英語的應用無處不在,我們已經身處在一個開口就是英語的時代和地方,英語對于我們而言,就像一日三餐對于人類而言不可或缺,只要這個地球存在,英語就會永遠存續下去。

史老師能夠很好地把握關鍵,以親身的求學,工作經歷,真誠,深刻但又十分風趣與生動地向大家展示了她的英語人生——熱愛英語,從英語中體會到學習的快樂,進而達到人生的成功!

第二篇:人生英語

英語的復習大致可分為四個階段: 1、3月—6月,這是考研復習的第一個階段。在這個階段,主要任務是解決單詞問題。詞匯量是考研英語的根本。教育部大綱中規定的是5500個單詞,那么你對自己的要求只能是高于這個數字,因為大綱中還涉及到了與你的專業和個人興趣相關的單詞,所以單詞復習是一個需要詳細制定計劃,并且循序漸進的過程。

第一輪背單詞時,絕對要認真仔細,應該從以下五個方面來進行準備:

一、單詞發音;

二、單詞詞綴;

三、單詞詞義;

四、單詞用法;

五、單詞關系(考生應掌握單詞的同義詞,反義詞,派生詞等)。

另外,閱讀在這個階段,也應該定量定篇的進行。考研閱讀不但考理解,還考速度。因此,在平時的閱讀訓練中要學會瀏覽閱讀和快速閱讀的方式。在閱讀文章時,不斷的提高對自己閱讀時間的要求,一段時間后,你一定會發現,你閱讀的效率與答題的速度突飛猛進。

2、7月至9月底是全面復習的第二階段。如果說第一階段主要是打基礎,那么,第二個階段則開始進行全方位準備了。所謂全面復習,即大家應該開始拿起筆練習寫作和翻譯,不只是停留在背單詞和讀文章這個層面上。因為在前期階段,你已掌握了大量的單詞并進行了高強度的閱讀訓練,所以這個階段,應該開始試著用英語表達你的想法,并且檢查自己對英語的理解能力。在這個階段不但應該解決了所有的基礎問題,同時還要有一段時間進行提高,為下一步的全程模擬做好充分的準備。建議你可以采取上輔導班或自學相結合的方式。

3、10月至11月底是強化階段,是進行模擬強化和真題總結的時期。在此之前,一些權威的考研輔導專家一般會推出根據新大綱編寫的模擬試題集。大家通過做最新模擬試題以及綜合研究真題的收獲,可以體驗實戰的感覺。強化階段的英語復習計劃應該更傾向于綜合訓練與模擬,但是同時,也不要忘記單詞的鞏固與記憶。

4、12月份到考前,是沖刺階段。考生們不但需要調整好臨考前的心態,而且也要靜下心來進行查缺補漏。比如說,翻譯部分沒有練習過或者比較薄弱,那么這段時間里,你需要針對個人弱勢調整復習重點和時間,對弱勢考點進行突破。如果不重視這些將會有可能前功盡棄。

另外,同學們在考前應該保持一個良好的心態。如果身體狀況不佳,心理素質差,即便是比較好的英語基礎,復習比較充分,也未必在考場上有良好的表現。

2009年全國碩士研究生入學統一考試英語大綱解析

與去年的大綱相比,2009年全國碩士研究生入學統一考試《英語考試大綱》完全沒有變化。就語言知識而言,大綱仍然強調考生應該能夠熟練地掌握和運用語法知識和5500個大綱詞匯。就語言技能而言,大綱繼續突出閱讀和寫作的重要性,關于閱讀,強調“考生應能讀懂選自各類書籍和報刊的不同類型的文字材料(生詞量不超過所讀材料總詞匯量的3%)”;關于寫作,則強調考生“應能寫不同類型的應用文,包括私人和公務信函、備忘錄、摘要、報告等,以及一般描述性、敘述性、說明性或議論性的文章(實際就是應用文和圖畫作文)”。總的來說,上述語言知識和語言技能仍然是研究生入學英語考試的主要測評目標。

對比往年考點,接下來按照具體題型分別為大家全面解析2009年考研英語大綱:

一、完型填空

完型填空主要測試考生結合上下文的綜合理解能力和語言運用能力,即在閱讀理解的基礎上對篇章結構,語法和詞匯知識的運用能力的考查,這是對完型填空的定位。大綱明確指出對完型填空考核的重點:語法、固定搭配、近義詞辨析和邏輯關系四大類題型。這種提法針對性更強。考生可從歷年真題中按照提示的四類題型去準備和復習有關考研完型填空方面的知識點,這樣可以做到事半功倍的效果。

同時考慮到完型填空在歷年考研中得分較低,大綱明確了考生解答完型填空題的思路,對于考生備考和解題都更具針對性。即:“從上下文的角度來考慮”和“運用邏輯推理”,這兩點都要求考生大到對文章整體的把握,小到對句子之間和句子內部把握,區別在于前者強調的是文章內容的一致,后者強調的是文章邏輯的一致:“從慣用法和搭配的角度來考慮問題”,這點要求考生對慣用法和搭配要有更多積累。

二、閱讀理解

就閱讀理解(PartA)而言,由于這是一個大家非常熟悉的題型,也連著考了10幾年,命題專家都有豐富的經驗來應對它,因此每次考試最穩定的就是四選一的閱讀理解題。就文章題材來說,近幾年越來越重視對人文科學的考查,平時要多注重閱讀一些英美經濟文化科技方面的報刊書籍,例如The Economist(經濟學家),Newsweek(新聞周刊),Times(時代周刊)以及The Times(泰晤士報)上面的文章。在尋找材料時,要有選擇,比如說不要涉及政治方面及時事方面比較敏感的話題,如種族歧視、宗教信仰、戰爭評論等。

有關2009年的閱讀理解文章來源,考試大綱也已經明確表態,文章來源依舊是英語國家原版報刊或書籍,絕大多數是評論性的文章(即除文學作品以外的其他類型的短文)。由于新聞記者慣用“引用”的方法,考研的文章經常喜歡正反交替舉例,先說作者認同的,然后又是作者要批評的、揭露的,再是用實例來論證作者的觀點。這種語篇思維模式會給考生在閱讀理解中造成很大的障礙。正因為難,考研命題專家就非常青睞這類語篇,來命題目。近兩年,這種題目每次都有,而且得分率也很低,因此需要大家平時閱讀時要多注重對于作者觀點、立足點、態度語氣的把握。

最后從語言難度來看,08年的閱讀文章無論從詞匯方面還是從句子方面與往年的難度有所提高,命題和前兩年明顯不同的是,大量考察了推理和判斷題以及細節事實題。09年的閱讀難度依舊,文章容易,選項“刁”。生詞依然存在,但其比例仍然維持在3%左右。命題的風格、誘惑手段和解題思路也會和08年一致。

新題型:

該題型要求考生從整體上把握文章的邏輯結構和內容上的聯系,理解句子之間、段落之間的關系,對諸如連貫性、一致性等語段特征有較強的意識和熟練的把握,并具備運用語法知識分析理解長難句的能力。05,06年考查的是難度相對較大的第一種選擇搭配題,而07,08年則選擇了難度相對較低的第三種——選擇小標題。可以說,此題型是對語言能力和閱讀理解能力的綜合測試,因此在要求上遠遠高于這兩種題型,考生有必要對這類題型的答題思路多練習,以提高自己在這個部分的應試能力。

三、翻譯

縱觀往年考研試題,我們發現命題者有一個非常清楚的或者非常明顯的趨勢和導向,就是對于比較難復雜的句子結構和文章的考查是加大比重了。這個體現在我們各個部分的題型當中,尤其以英翻漢部分最為明顯。這個也反映出我們的命題者在考慮到各位同學在進入研究生學習之后需要接觸大量的專業英語材料,這些材料的特點就是語言結構比較復雜,所以在考研當中考查考生對復雜語言結構和復雜長難句的理解的這種能力就成為了最近幾年考試非常明顯的特點和趨勢。

2009年的翻譯不會有任何變化,依舊考察在準確理解的基礎上,按照英語語法結構拆分句子,準確、通順翻譯漢語的能力。翻譯考點不變,主要考點還是包含對定語從句、狀語從句等翻譯的考察。考生只需按照自己原有的復習計劃進行就可以,不必為翻譯作任何復習計劃的調整。

四、寫作

2009年的大作文從命題形式上看,應該還是考核圖表和漫畫作文。從命題內容上來看,今年的漫畫或圖表作文一定還是有關于教育、職業道德、身體健康、家庭關系、環境保護、人口增長以及文化交流等話題。

考研大作文(20分)的要求是很好地完成了試題規定的任務:包含所有內容要點;使用豐富的語法結構和詞匯;語言自然流暢,語法錯誤極少;有效地采用了多種銜接手段,文字連貫,層次清晰。平時練習主要注意兩個方面:首先,語言是第一要素;其次,結構層次要清晰。

在語言方面,應把語言錯誤降低到最低限度。語言錯誤大致在如下幾個方面:第一,主謂一致;第二,時態;第三,冠詞的用法;第四,名詞的單復數;第五,搭配問題;第六,單詞的拼寫。檢查的時候,一般不要作內容上的修改。閱卷者根本不會意識到所加的話有多么重要,文章多一句話少一句話是不會改變閱卷者印象的。

根據考試大綱的文字來看,今年的應用文寫作應依舊是書信的寫作,希望考生能夠把書信的格式進行進一步的強化。

應用文寫作能力的提高不可能一蹴而就,必須經過長期的實踐鍛煉。重點要注意語域和格式兩個問題。在復習階段,應用文的寫作,尤其是書信的寫作要注意內容的格式安排,首先要熟悉不同類型的應用文寫作格式,注意事項,寫作特點等。其次要背誦大量的優秀范文。再次,是要多動手寫作,要寫出屬于自己的文章。

鑒于英語考綱的穩定性,各位考生可以繼續既定復習思路和計劃。當然,千里之行始于足下,各位考生一定要腳踏實地落實自己的計劃,這樣才能達到事半功倍的效果。

For most people happiness seems fleeting, because they let changing outer circumstances affect it. one of the best ways to keep it, is by gaining inner peace through daily meditation. As the mind becomes more peaceful, it becomes easier to choose the happiness habit.

Here are a few tips for increasing happiness in daily life:
