本單元的主要話題是談?wù)搨ト耍苏n為本單元的第五節(jié)課,主要講述一位名字叫做Helen Keller 的殘疾人戰(zhàn)勝病魔的經(jīng)歷,是一篇閱讀課文,通過閱讀,使學(xué)生了解她怎樣成功地戰(zhàn)勝病魔和困難。

三、教學(xué)方法

本課采用任務(wù)型閱讀教學(xué)法,用活動(dòng)和提問的方式引出話題。采用提問、啟發(fā)、討論和歸納的教法,讓學(xué)生易于接受教材內(nèi)容,理解閱讀內(nèi)容,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語言運(yùn)用能力。
