現在，不少教師經常體罰或破口大罵一些犯錯誤及成績不太好的同學。看到身邊發生的一個個典型事例，我十分痛心，并堅決反對這種做法。我認為，真正的教育不是對學生體罰或破口大罵，這是一種能深深刺痛孩童們的心的做法。遭受了這樣“待遇”的同學們，不僅會心情愈來愈低落，對學習的興趣也會越來越低……這種狀況發展到最后，就會對這些莘莘學子們---甚至是祖國的未來---產生不良的影響。所以，我認為，一個好老師在學生成績不好或犯錯的時候，應該親切地去鼓勵他，指出他的錯誤在哪，接著，以足夠的耐心，幫助他改正錯誤---而不是以體罰或破口大罵的方式。長此以來，學生不僅提高了自信心，還提高了成績---真是一舉兩得啊！

The topic of my speech is “Saving Every Drop of Water”. The earth is the lovely home of mankind. The resources on the earth are limited, and water is even more precious. The available fresh water is limited. Some people say that in the big water tank of the earth, only one tablespoon of water can be used. At present, more than half of the world's countries and about 1.5 billion people are facing the shortage of fresh water. We should cherish every drop of water as we cherish our eyes!
