通知、通函、公告

通知、通函、公告的作用基本一樣，只是使用的場合、對象不盡相同。通知的對象可以是一個也可以是多個。通函發給的對象至少幾十個，比如某銀行喬遷新的辦公大樓，其新地址、電話、電傳、傳真等都必須提前通告所有代理銀行，就給他們發一份通函(CIRCULAR LETTER)，而客戶眾多，就難以分別發函了，于是就在主要報紙上發一份遷址公告(ANNOUNCEMENT)，便于客戶聯系。此外，法院向銀行或個人發出的傳票，也是一種特別通知。這些都要求對方加以特別注意。

對譯文的評述：

．

1．這份委托通知書只有一句話。其中failing(prep．in default of，in the absence of)是介詞而不是現在分詞，意思是“如果沒有……，若無……時”。這里根據上下文，譯成“如彼不能出席”。

2．at any adjournment thereof．其中adjournment--break off for a time暫時休會，這里指延期的某一天(on any other day postponed there from)3．譯文多了“以便考慮并酌情投票通過大會通告所載會議案”。開年會的目的是不言而喻的，譯文把這點補充進去；這或許是經辦人疏漏所致。

通函(circular letter)一般都是固定格式函，只寫明發出年月，一名有權人簽字即可。凡有關代理行都送發一份，收信單位也是逐個填寫的。過去沒有電傳、傳真等快捷通訊工具時，為省電報費用，便采用通函方式。

為了貫徹落實《福建省民政廳關于落實給部分農村籍退役士兵發放老年生活補助政策的實施意見》（閩民優

[2011]205號），確保如期完成本項工作，現將有關工作通知如下：

一、人員身份核查的對象為：1954年11月1日以后入伍、2011年、2012年年齡在60周歲以上（含60周歲）、未享受到國家定期撫恤補助的農村籍退役士兵（即退役時落戶農村戶籍目前仍為農村戶籍、退役時落戶農村戶籍后轉為非農戶籍的人員，上述人員中不包括已享受退休金或城鎮職工養老保險金待遇的人員）。

二、符合條件的人員于9月15日前攜帶本人身份證、戶口簿、退伍證（或退伍檔案）等相關證明材料，向本人戶籍所在地鄉鎮人民政府民政辦提出申請并辦理登記手續，填寫登記審核表。逾期登記將轉為下一個登記。
