摘要：演講是一種比較高級的語言表達(dá)形式，為全社會普遍關(guān)注。由此，人們開始

對它進(jìn)行了科學(xué)的研究，創(chuàng)立了演講學(xué)。演講也是一種比較復(fù)雜的精神勞動，它不僅對演講者的思想水平，文化修養(yǎng)，表達(dá)能力是一次全面的考察，也是對演講者的心理和心理素質(zhì)的一次嚴(yán)峻的考驗。故大學(xué)生在進(jìn)行一次英語演講時，最重要的是注意如何培養(yǎng)良好的英語演講心態(tài)和成功把握英語演講過程。本論文為讀者陳述了在演講過程中因注意的問題，如何選好英語演講的主題，和怎樣做好演講提綱。

作為一種普遍的社會現(xiàn)象的演講，其本質(zhì)上是人們在特定時境中，借助有聲語言和態(tài)勢語言等藝術(shù)手段來表達(dá)從現(xiàn)實生活中得來的真實情感，用以影響和感召聽眾的一種現(xiàn)實語言交際與信息交流的活動。故任畢明教授在其一書《演講雄辯談話術(shù)》中指出：“演講是語言和動作配合表達(dá)的一種宣傳品。”①

英語演講也是如此。但不同的是，對外國人來說，他們的演講如同中國人用中國話演講，只不過是內(nèi)容和風(fēng)格不同。對中國人來說，我們的英語演講卻是用另外一種語言來表述同一內(nèi)容的演講。這在一定層次上便要求演講者具有一定的語言水平和能力。但對一般大學(xué)生來說，還沒有具備高級演講水平的前提下，其組織語言和應(yīng)用語言的能力也不足。故除卻這些因素以外，要想成功完成一場精彩的英語演講，筆者認(rèn)為，大學(xué)生應(yīng)該把握好兩點：第一，要培養(yǎng)良好的演講心態(tài)。第二，要把握英語演講過程。

演講是一種比較復(fù)雜的精神勞動，它不僅對演講者的思想水平，文化修養(yǎng)，表達(dá)能力的一次嚴(yán)峻的考驗。良好的心理素質(zhì)不僅是順利進(jìn)行演講的重要前提，也是取得理想效果的可靠保證。看那些優(yōu)秀的演講者無一例外都具有良好的心理素質(zhì)。②

（一），保持良好的心理平衡狀態(tài)。

站在演講臺，面對成百上千的觀眾，難免會有膽怯，羞澀，說話瞠目結(jié)舌等的心理反應(yīng)，無論如何這些心理反應(yīng)都不可被完全“克服”，而只能被控制，被削弱。最重要的是要用英語給中國人演講。作為“當(dāng)事人”，有恐懼膽怯的心理，完全正常。事實上，我們所知的任何一位出色的演講家都是有過恐懼怯場的經(jīng)歷。就拿林肯來說，他的朋友霍恩登曾經(jīng)這樣描述林肯的早期演講：“他起初好像不知所措，很吃力去使自己適合情境，在過濾和過敏的感覺下，掙扎了片刻，因而更使自己難堪了。這個時候，我是很同情他的。他開始講話了，聲音尖銳難聽，古怪的姿勢，黃皺的臉孔，一律的動作，好像一切都是和他為難的” ③

不可想象吧！曾經(jīng)被稱為美國最出色的演講家，當(dāng)年竟然是這副德性。還有美國的著名作家馬克?吐溫初次演講時，口中像塞滿了棉花，脈搏跳動得像賽跑時一樣。愛爾蘭政治領(lǐng)袖波奈爾，初次演講時由于緊張攥緊拳頭，以致指甲劃破手心而流血。

想想這些大演講家，在初次演講是都會有緊張不良的心理反應(yīng)，何況是我們大學(xué)生呢。所以，在這個時候，一定要保持良好的心理平衡狀態(tài)。

（二），當(dāng)出現(xiàn)不良的心理反應(yīng)時，要對自己做出適當(dāng)短時間的調(diào)整。想辦法為自己創(chuàng)造一個和諧的環(huán)境，使自己形成一個坦然的心態(tài)。不妨深度呼吸幾次，放松肌肉，面帶微笑地向下瀏覽聽眾，盡量使自己跳動的心平扶下來。若此時心還處于緊張急躁的狀態(tài)時，可適當(dāng)?shù)南扔糜⒄Z給觀眾將一個無關(guān)主題的笑話。輕松的緩解一下周圍的氣氛。如胡適在一次演講時，這樣開頭：“我今天不是來向諸君作報告的，我是來‘胡說’的，因為我姓胡。”話音剛落，觀眾大笑。胡適采用自我解嘲的方式，以詼諧幽默的自我介紹開始，縮短了與聽眾的距離，活躍了氣氛。繼而自己緊張的心情一下放松了不少。

(三)，在演講過程中，出現(xiàn)不良反應(yīng)時，要給與自己短暫停留的時間來調(diào)整自己。

我們在上課時，不難發(fā)現(xiàn)，有些英語老師在講課的過程中不時會忘了講課內(nèi)容，單詞，或語法時，他們經(jīng)常會給學(xué)生一兩分時間自由看書，自己在調(diào)整一下，繼續(xù)授課。筆者認(rèn)為，演講也已如此，當(dāng)我們用英語給中國人做演講時，在表達(dá)陳述某一現(xiàn)象，觀念，或物質(zhì)時，一下子忘了該用什么詞來表達(dá)時，這時候演講者往往會出現(xiàn)心理不安，急躁，膽怯，緊張等不良心理反應(yīng)，進(jìn)而在后面的演講，吐字不清，聲音發(fā)抖，全身因過度緊張而出汗不止。在這個時候，我們不防給自己，給聽眾一兩分停留的時間，刻意的講一些無關(guān)主題的話題，笑話或生活情趣。給自己留一席空隙來回想自己所忘記的內(nèi)容。如著名演講家，李燕杰，在某一次演講會時，突然忘記了自己的演講的內(nèi)容，就巧妙的運用對聯(lián)：一二三四五六七，ABCDEFG，橫批——OK。全場觀眾一下爆笑，都在竊竊私語，他利用這一空隙回想演講內(nèi)容，居然一下子就想到了。產(chǎn)生了很好的效果，克服了自己當(dāng)時緊張的狀態(tài)。

也有的時候，在用英語表達(dá)不清楚時，可以換用另外一種表達(dá)方式表達(dá)。但要盡量做到簡潔明了，當(dāng)某一單詞忘記時，可以用另一個單詞代替。如：Let us start the campaign of creating a mutually beneficial relationship between people and nature right from this moment.演講者忘了此句話，或忘了該如何表達(dá)時，不妨用另一段語言來表達(dá)，如：Let us take some measures to develop the relationship of people and nature.①

有了良好的心理狀態(tài)，那么一場完美的演講就等于成功了一半，剩下的那一半就是要把握好英語演講的過程。

用英語給中國人演講與用漢語給中國人演講的不用之處是，英語作為非本國語言，在說的過程中，聽眾是否對你的內(nèi)容聽懂，理解，感觸多少是演講者所必須把握的。這就要求演講者必須把握好英語演講的過程。

(一)，演講者要確定一個合適的主題。主題決定演講思想性的強弱，制約材料的取舍，影響到論證方式和藝術(shù)調(diào)度②

沒有明確的主題，演講就如同沒有靈魂的偶像。即使講的天花亂墜，也會讓人不知所云不得要領(lǐng)。對一般大學(xué)生來說，英語演講其目的在于宣傳，教育，組織和激勵群眾。因此選題要有時代意義，必須緊緊抓住人們普遍關(guān)心的問題，抓住社會現(xiàn)實中繼續(xù)解決的問題。例如，第一屆“21世紀(jì)杯”全國英語演講比賽冠軍劉欣在1996年5月17日，倫敦居心的國際英語演講比賽中，就以顯示生活中的自己為例子，進(jìn)而講到現(xiàn)在的中國婦女發(fā)生了翻天覆地的變化為主題，贏得了評委的好評。

（二），在英語內(nèi)容結(jié)構(gòu)上，要有清晰的思路和簡要的提綱。

理清思路是演講者對自己的思維的梳理和整頓，涉及對主題的深化，材料的剪裁和組織，結(jié)構(gòu)的安排等③

英語演講的內(nèi)容要簡單明了，使聽眾有種豁然開朗的感覺，畢竟不同于漢語演講，能表達(dá)的委婉含蓄一些，聽眾也會明白。但英語演講就不同，有些聽眾的英語水平高，有些低，對層次不同的人來說，在聽的過程中，感知的深度就不同。故演講者一定要有清晰的思路，面面到點，層次分明。

史迪芬·Ｅ·盧卡斯在其一書中指出：“提綱之于一篇講話，猶如藍(lán)圖之于一所房子，一篇好的，清楚的提綱會在你演講之前幫助你發(fā)現(xiàn)錯誤，弱點和多余的信息．正如建筑師或工程師在開始建造房子之前努力審查圖紙常常可以減少重大的錯誤一樣．”①

勞倫斯認(rèn)為，一個演講者最糟糕的是：“在站起來之前，不知道姚說些什么，演說的時候，不記得曾經(jīng)說過什么．”②

在英語演講的過程中，難免會有些東西混亂，如果演講者自己也都不知道整個演講的過程，何況是下面的聽眾．故須擬定一份屬于自己合理的提綱．對于一般的英語演講來說，提綱的類型大體可以分為⑴標(biāo)題提綱．就是在演講大標(biāo)題之下，將若干個小標(biāo)題列出來，構(gòu)成這種提綱，可以用一個簡單的英語詞，詞組等羅列，達(dá)到一目了然的目的．⑵句子完整的提綱．用英語短語表達(dá)最好．⑶關(guān)鍵詞語式提綱．這是縮寫的標(biāo)題式提綱，以英語中的關(guān)鍵詞語的形式表達(dá)出來，從而達(dá)到簡潔一致，層次分明的目的．

最后，我想對英語演講者想說的是，一定要注意自己的口語表達(dá)．因為演講是一種口語表達(dá)的活動．對個人來說，不同的人有不同的感覺，從普遍來講，英語演講做到：通俗明快，樸實自己的口語表情達(dá)意，就好在表達(dá)的過程中，一定要聲音洪亮，口齒分明，發(fā)音標(biāo)準(zhǔn)．單詞之間，句子之間要有停頓，下面的聽眾才會有時間反映，理解你所說的內(nèi)容．看那些外國人演講時單詞的發(fā)音特別準(zhǔn)確，清晰，易懂．所以說這一點很重要．

英語演講頁不外乎于漢語演講，只要做到以上這幾點，那么完成一場精彩漂亮的演講是很容易的．

But there’s one thing I believe, the real and ultimate definition of success is to realize our ideals and dreams, which are always inside our deepest hearts.?
