英語電話面試技巧

很多外企在當面的面試之前會有一個電話英語面試，時間一般在20-30分鐘左右，用以核實求職者的背景和英文表達力。新東方求職面試英語研究專家馮颙建議，求職者在投遞簡歷以后要做好各種充分的準備。

準備幾個基本問題

如果你提前知道了電話面試的時間，則可以在面試時把簡歷、coverletter放在你旁邊的桌子上，直接運用里面的句子回答問題。一些基本的問題，你可以事先準備好答案。通常，在電話英語面試的時候會提道：

·Please tell me something unreflected at yourC.V./about yourself/your

experience/your activities.談談你簡歷中沒有提及的一些事情/談談你自己/你的經(jīng)歷/你參與的活動。

·An example of team work.舉出一個你參與團體合作的例子。

如何應對突襲電話面試

當你正在球場或者公交車上突然接到了面試電話，此時沒有任何準備，建議你首先試探看看是否可以給你個準備時間稍后再進行電話面試。可以用到的句子：

技巧 1 ： 環(huán)境

很明顯，你不應該打算在工作的時候接受一次電話面試。如果面試必須在中午進行，那么你應該讓自己盡量少的離開辦公室。如果在家里閑著，要確定你的家人是理解你的，讓你占用電話并且在你面試的時候不會被打攪。把寵物都放到門外面去，并且關上你辦公室的門。如果你能避免別人在電話呼叫中的等待，最好就這么做。

還有記住不要關掉你的移動電話。

技巧 2 ： 工具

在手邊放一支鋼筆和一張紙。你可能回在面試的時候記上一點東西。而且鋼筆要能夠?qū)懀靡稽c的是在很容易拿到的地方放上一兩支備用的。

技巧 3 ： 聲音

技巧 4 ： 答案

認真的聽你被問到的問題。注意面試者的用詞，他（她）所說的大部分都是專業(yè)術語嗎？要讓你的答案顯示你對那些專業(yè)術語是如此的熟悉--但同時也要讓他（她）知道你可以跟普通人交流。不要讓你的回答局限于行話之中--要讓面試者可以評價你和普通人交流專業(yè)知識的能力。不必擔心在回答一個問題之前你需要花一點時間去思考。不過不管怎樣，因為面試者不能夠看見你，所以你需要給他（她）一些口頭的暗示，比如：“我希望能夠給你一

個完整的答案，請給我一點時間來整理一下我所想到的。”

技巧 5 ：感謝

千萬不能忘記，在面試的結束的時候要記得感謝面試者占用了他（她）的時間，而且你還要保證面試者有你正確的電話號碼，以便在接下來的幾個星期里他（她）能找到你（如果你已經(jīng)打算去旅游或者要出遠門，把日期延遲是相當重要的）。

面試結束后

立即掛上電話，寫一份關于面試的簡短的感謝信，如果你發(fā)電子郵件的話必須在一個小時內(nèi)發(fā)出，如果是發(fā)普通信件的話在這一天之內(nèi)就可以了。

在你的感謝信里面，重申你對占用了面試者的時間的感激以及給一些其它的問題的答復是很重要的。如果你發(fā)現(xiàn)在面試的時候你有一個很重要的經(jīng)歷沒有被提到，那么這封感謝信將是補充這些附加信息的最好的地方。

一旦郵件發(fā)出了，你就把大致可以得到反饋信息的時間在電子郵件日歷或者桌子的日歷上做一個記號。留意一下，如果在這之后的一個星期內(nèi)還沒有得到任何答復，也不要以為事情已經(jīng)到了最糟糕的地步。你要知道這可能是因為你的時間表訂的太緊了；也有可能是你的面試者現(xiàn)在正忙得不可開交。去打個電話但是不要說太多的話。如果仍然沒有音訊的話，下一個電話就需要詢問關于進行面對面面試的人選是否已經(jīng)決定或者你什么時候可以得到答復。如果你能夠得到一個預約見面的日期，這證明你就是最好的。
