托福口語交流六大技巧
一、如何用英文簡單界定一個東西的技巧
美國人和美國人交談80%是想告訴對方這個事物是什么。我們的課本盡管詞匯難度不斷加深,但思維邏輯結構卻只停留在一個水平上。中國人常說Where is the book(這本書在哪兒)?很少有人說What is a book(書是什么)?而美國的小學生就開始問:What is the book?這種Where is the book只是思維的描述階段。但是我想連大學生也很難回答What is a book?因為中國傳統英語教學模式沒有教會學生表達思想的技巧。
二、用不同的方式解釋同一事物
如果已經學會界定,但理解還有偏差,那就要訓練How to explain things in different ways,一種表達式對方不懂,美國人會尋找另一種表達式最終讓對方明白。因為事物就一個,但表達它的語言符號可能會很多。這就要多做替換練習。傳統的教學方法也做替換練習,但這種替換不是真替換,只是語言層面的替換,而不是思維層面的替換。比如,I love you(我愛你)。按我們教學的替換方法就把you換成her,my mother等,這種替換和小學生練描紅沒有什么區別。這種替換沒有對智力構成挑戰,沒有啟動思維。這種替換句子的基本結構沒變,我聽不懂I love you,肯定也聽不懂I love her。如果替換為I want to kiss you,I want to hug you,I will show my heart to you等,或者給對方講電影《泰坦尼克》,告訴對方那就是愛,這樣一來對方可能就明白了。這才叫真正的替換。也就是說用一種不同的方式表達同一個意思,或者一個表達式對方聽不清楚,舉一個簡單易懂的例子來表達,直到對方明白。
三、我們必須學會美國人怎樣描述東西
從描述上來講,由于中美的文化不同會產生很大的差異。我們描述東西無外乎把它放在時間和 空間兩個坐標上去描述。美國人對空間的描述總是由內及外,由里及表。而中國人正好相反。從時間上來說,中國人是按自然的時間順序來描述。我們描述一個東西 突然停住時,往往最后說的那個地方是最重要的。美國人在時間的描述上先把最重要的東西說出來,然后再說陪襯的東西。只有發生悲劇性的事件,美國人才在前面 加上鋪墊。這就是中國人和美國人在時間描述上的巨大差別。
四、要學會使用重要的美國習語
不容易學、易造成理解困惑的東西就是“習語”。比如北京人說蓋了帽兒了,外國人很難理解,這就是習語。所以和美國人交流時,能適當地運用美國習語,他馬上就會覺得很親切,也很愛和你交流。那么什么是習語?就是每個單詞你都認識,但把它們組合在一起,你就不知道是什么意思了。
五、學會兩種語言的傳譯能力
這是衡量口語水平的一個最重要標準。因為英語不是我們的母語,我們天生就有自己的母語。很多人都認為學好外語必須丟掉自己的母語,這是不對的。
第二篇:托福口語考試技巧
一、口語百搭題目:
經本人仔細研究近幾年機經得到的百搭口語題目(99%以上1、2口語題都可以通過改變以下題目獲得。)

以下我給出的題目請大家仔細寫出細節,比如鳥兒在歌唱,比如飯店裝璜吸引人,等等。因為口語模板說是重復,其實質上都是細節的重復【這一點是關鍵!關鍵中的關鍵!再怎么強調都不過分!】。只要將6道題每個寫足100字,然后將600字牢記于心,就一定能將口語1、2搞定。甚至寫作題目也可以搞定大部分。
1、你喜歡和有什么樣特點的人在一起,為什么。
方向:幽默的人。(無論同學、老師、父母、朋友、長輩、晚輩或者你最喜歡的人都可以用這條涵蓋。)
2、你最喜歡的交通工具,為什么。
方向:car。(涵蓋一切交通類題目和科技數碼改變生活類題目。)
3、你最喜歡的游戲,為什么。
方向:籃球。(涵蓋一切活動、學習【在籃球中學習團隊合作】、和最喜歡做的一件事,休息時做的事情。可以和最喜歡的人一起打籃球。)
4、你最喜歡的日子,為什么。
方向:春節。(涵蓋一切有關習俗、節日、記憶最深刻、過的最豐富多彩、最喜歡的日子。
【你可以在最喜歡的日子里和最喜歡的人一起打籃球】)
5、你最喜歡的地點,為什么。
方向:某家餐廳。(涵蓋一切有關地點、或者推薦別人去的地方,或者自己最喜歡去的地方,或者你認為最有特色的一個地方。可以和朋友一起去餐廳。)
6、你印象最深的一件事,為什么。
方向:參加學生會競選。(涵蓋一切有關挑戰,戰勝自己,自己最成功的一件事,或者最失敗的一件事,記憶最深刻的一件事等等。)
基本上以上6個題目就包含了一切生活類型的題目,每一種類型都是百搭,大家辛苦一下背1200字還是不難的。
PS:貌似還有兩次考了關于“一本書”的話題。這個也可以獨立出來作為一個題目。就是“你最喜歡的一本書及其原因”。盡管遇到的不多,但是如果你有時間,就多準備這一道題,也有好處。
【其實,這道題也可以和“書的幽默語言”“或者是最喜歡的人送的”“或者教給你如何團隊合作”“或者經常在某家24小時餐廳看書”相交叉。】
最后再強調一遍,口語中【細節】才是關鍵的關鍵!!
另外,如果能偷聽到別人講的題目,也是關鍵的關鍵。本人考試中間休息時就聽到了口語1、2全部題目。
二、偷聽口語1、2題的詳細操作方法
1、前提:在一個普通的學校報名考試。不要去專業的外語學院,比如X外啊之類的專業學校考托福。因為那種學校的設備一般都是非常豪華的,同時隔音隔光效果都做的非常完善,老師也會經常巡邏,導致你沒有任何方法觀察到你旁邊人的屏幕或者他的托福進程。推薦:
寧波大學。一大群人在一個學校網吧一樣的地方考試,而且旁邊的隔板是磨砂玻璃但都不寬,對面的隔板還是透明,可以輕易的看到不遠處同學的屏幕。總之對于整體時間的把握和控制上都很有利。【具體大學介紹參加專業版塊】
2、其次,你要慢一點走進考場。大概在中后期時候進入考場,可以保證你周圍坐著
一、兩個正在做閱讀的孩子。當然,你也可以中期就進考場,那時你需要仔細把握好周圍同學做題的速度和大概完成時間。
3、第三,你和旁邊人的做題時間基本上處于以下狀態:你做閱讀最后一篇最后的題目時,她開始聽力。你做聽力第三篇時,她已經做完了在休息。在這我要說明一點,如果你旁邊這個人是個變態,她可能根本不休息,直接進行口語。但也沒關系,因為口語之前還有很長的directions,而且不能跳過。你乘機把握時間將聽力聽完或者留在聽力答題某一部分的最后一道題放在那就等她開始。
如果你旁邊坐的是正常人,那么在她休息完重新開始而且聽完sample和directions后,你恰好聽力結束。
4、第四,聽力之前有個sample要你講你的家鄉,注意!!這不是真正的聽力題。新手經常會把這個誤認為是聽力然后興沖沖的記下來。這種行為很SB,不推薦。甚至有時因為那個人的話筒不太好,多重復了幾遍,新手將重復的東東也都記下來了。這種行為更SB……我就不說啥了。
等sample結束的時候,還有一個挺長的directions,大概持續1分鐘左右,然后才開始真正的題目。你要用余光仔細觀察對方的動作,如果出現用“鉛筆”這么一個動作,就說明她馬上要開始說了!!一定要豎起耳朵。
5、第五,偷聽,是一門藝術。新手們經常想要聽她講的全部,這是絕對錯誤的觀念……因為偷聽口語,不是練托福聽力,你不要想聽懂她講的一切。遇到口語不好的人,你偷聽她說英語簡直是對自己耳朵的強J。
聽“重要的內容”,其實指的就是“第一句話”。一般托福口語的第一句話都會主動點題,比如“my favourite game is …”,只要聽到這里,你就得到了口語的精華。
6、第六,聽到第一、第二道題,就足夠了,你還要出去上廁所,出去喝紅牛,出去吃巧克力、面包。所以,仔細聽到第二道題的第二句話,你就可以離開考場。如果沒猜錯的話,你當時應該還有7、8分鐘左右的休息時間。好好休息,將聽來的考題在廁所炫耀一番,積攢一下人品,一會會考得更加理想。
7、第七,8分鐘內仔細考慮要講的內容。將一條條資料在腦中列出來,先試著講一遍,一遍足夠了。然后回到考場,humble的告訴老師,開始吧。然后老師過來輸入密碼,接著開始口語考試。
8、第八,到了關鍵的一步。口語的directions是相當長的,而且還有一個可以不跳過的試音階段。有了這兩個幫助,準備時間就會更加充分。利用這一個時間段,將聽來的題目在草稿紙上詳細的列出提綱,甚至你可以將你想說的每句話都寫下來,一會照著讀就可以。只要sample開始的時候,你不要隨便試音,他便會一直重復重復。
9、第九,順水推舟進行口語啦。心中一定要帶著感激之情,感謝上天給你這個機會,感謝報名了這么一個好學校,感謝旁邊坐的GG,感謝昨天幫我指路的MM……(怨念)
10、當然,作弊可恥。作弊什么的最討厭了……但是,面對著ETS將托福無故漲價,面對著Obama對于輪胎多征的哪一半稅,面對著美帝國恣意壓迫,我只覺得,我的腰桿挺的更直了!我作弊,我自豪。

任何一件事情要想成功都要有一個過程,而托福口語亦是如此,積累中達到從量變到質變的突破,本文為考生們介紹托福口語的練習技巧。
托福口語目的是提高口語,不是積累段子,而真正的要想達到從量變到質變的突破,就要不斷的練習和完善,并最終把這些積累的段子都化為自己的語言,真正的掌握其中的技巧。練習托福口語時,你要看著題目,想象你正在考試,就開始計時說,這樣才能達到好的效果。頭幾遍肯定結結巴巴,時間都不夠用。但是多說幾遍,就會越來越好。舌頭都會覺得越來越靈活。腦子里組織句子也會越來越快。但是如果每次遇到你說不順暢的題目你都馬上就寫一段話背下來的話,你就算準備的題目再多,你的口語水平提高的還是會很有限。反倒是你會發現,你寫下來的小段子越來越多。這就成了積累段子了。
“念”本身不是問題。問題的關鍵是你念的段子寫得好不好,你的語音別人聽不聽得懂,你的輕重緩急和停頓做得到不到位等等。如果你備考期間練習的是口語,你肯定會發現這些問題你已經注意過,練過了。但是如果你備考期間準備的是段子,那你就會發現,你可以語速很快,甚至可以背誦或者念出很精彩的段子,但是上面的那些問題,你還是做得不好。因為你根本就沒有注意過。你注意過的只是怎么通過背段子讓自己不至于沒話可說。
學術類的東西,也就是后面幾題,本來就沒有段子可言。臨場的時候主要還是純粹現場發揮的。但是,如果你復習前兩題的時候把口語練好了,后面的題也不會是太大的問題。至少你就不會面臨沒話可說的問題了,問題只是怎么說得更好。所以后面幾個學術型的題真的沒有什么訣竅。純粹靠水平了。
上述就是托福口語積累從量變到質變的一些經驗技巧,其實不論是什么樣的技巧,沒有練習還是很難達到預期的效果,因此希望大家能夠勤學苦練,并最終取得理想的托福高分。
