那么，“發(fā)生了地震”，該如何說(shuō)呢？地震多屬于突發(fā)事件，來(lái)勢(shì)猛烈，去的也快，因此，英語(yǔ)中描述地震的動(dòng)詞也多具有這樣的特點(diǎn)。比如用hit 和roll across兩個(gè)詞。Roll 表示“波動(dòng)起伏地前進(jìn)”，比如：
