新課程標準下的高一英語既注重基礎知識的考查又強調靈活運用能力。為了適應這一趨勢,提高教學質量,要求狠抓基礎知識,拓寬詞匯,提高課堂容量與效益,并努力培養學生良好的學習習慣,培養其自覺性、主動性、積極性,突出教師的主導地位及學生的主體地位,時刻以提高學生英語成績為目的。
二、教學方法與措施預設
1、認真落實備課,充分調動學生的聰明才智
本學期準備進行集體研討,統一教學進度、教學目標、重難點,做到教學案一體化;強調分工合作,收集資料,充分發揮集體的聰明才智能;堅持默寫單詞及重點句型。
2、拓寬教材,擴展學生閱讀量,努力補充學生的詞匯
選用《英語周報》,從而提高擴展學生閱讀量,培養其閱讀能力,擴充學生的詞匯量,處處為適應高考而作準備。
3、聽力訓練到位,鍛煉學生聽力能力
利用好《英語周報》上的聽力材料,注重聽力技巧的培養,鍛煉提高學生的聽力能力。
4、隨堂鞏固練習及單元綜合檢查
每部分教完后都有有一小張測試練習,以檢測該部分是否掌握;每單元結束后進行一次小型考試,以便調整下一階段的學習和教學活動。
三、教學研究目標與效果展望
教師要注重學生聽、說、讀、寫各方面能力的培養,注意拓寬學生的詞匯量,提高閱讀量,處處以提高學生能力為目的。

從學生高一期末考試情況來看,存在以下三方面問題:
①在思想上、態度上放松或放棄的現象有所表露,讀,不會讀,就談不上聽得懂,看得懂,從而導致破罐子破摔的現象。
②基礎知識不夠扎實,靈活運用語言的技能相對薄弱。
③運用能力不夠強實。學生的閱讀能力、理解能力、分析能力、判斷能力、應變能力等均不能較好地適應考查要求。
如何改進我們目前的英語課堂教學,提高課堂教學質量,需要我校高一英語教師的認真研究。語言學習的關鍵在于語言知識的積累,只有通過學習者親身的體驗和摸索,才能學會并掌握語言知識,從而達到在交際中靈活使用語言的目的。
三、2012學期高一下英語教學做法(1)認真落實集體備課
以集體備課為形式,集備課組全體的智慧做好日常的教學工作。(2)拓寬教材,擴展學生閱讀量,努力補充學生的詞匯 補充自選閱讀材料,培養學生的閱讀能力,并以這些材料為基礎,擴充學生詞匯量,做到每學完一篇課文,就進行詞匯檢測。(3)綜合檢查
準備每一周做一次練習,主要以結合當前教學內容為主要測試內容, 間或分塊測試,適時引導學生自我評價,從而調整下階段的學習。(4)教學進度
課文每單元用9課時完成。1課時用于welcome,3課時用于reading, 2課時用于grammar,1課時用于task,1課時用于project,1課時用于練習。爭取16周內完成牛津版模塊3.4。
四、訓練原則
1.習題的訓練在于精而不在于多。在教學中盡量按照高考的知識體系有針對性地選擇典型性題目。針對共性問題進行精講,讓學生在書本中找到解決問題的源泉,學會思考、整理和歸納。2.聽力訓練到位,鍛煉學生聽力能力
利用好學生《聽力訓練材料》的題目及《英語學習輔導報》上的聽力,注重聽力技巧的培養,鍛煉提高學生的聽力能力。3.隨堂鞏固練習及單元綜合檢查
