導語:尋物啟事是個人或單位丟了東西，希望通過啟事得到幫助找回東西的一種應用文，尋物啟事的分類和特性。尋物啟事一般可張貼于丟物的地點，或貼在單位門口或街巷較顯眼的位置，有的尋物啟事也登在報紙上。

尋物啟事，是指單位或個人丟失東西后，希望他人幫助尋找而使用的應用文體。

尋物啟事按照失主的.身份可以分為兩種，一種是由于個人遺忘或不慎將東西遺失而寫的尋物啟事，另一種是由于單位遺失了東西而發布的尋物啟事。

尋物啟事傳播的形式：可以貼在失物地點、單位門口、大街上，也可刊登在報紙上，或者通過電視臺、電臺播發。

尋物啟事一般包括標題、正文、落款三項內容。

1.標題。

(1)緣由加文種組成。如《尋物啟事》。

(2)由文種加丟失物品名構成。如《尋手機啟事》、《尋鑰匙啟事》、《尋公文包啟事》等。

2.正文。

正文一般包括以下三層內容：

(1)寫清丟失物品的名稱、數量、形狀、質地和丟失的時間、地點等;

(2)寫尋物者的單位、姓名、住址、電話號碼、郵政編碼等;

(3)如有必要還可以寫明給予酬勞之類的話語。

3.落款。

署上發文單位的名稱、個人姓名等，并署上發文的日期。
