1）以發音的元音字母結尾的音節。例：be，he。

2）以輔音字母（r 除外）+不發音的e結尾的音節。例：make，like。

以一個或幾個輔音字母（r 除外）結尾而中間只有一個元音字母的音節，稱為閉音節。例：map，desk，is。

如：home name face 在重讀開音節中，元音字母一律讀它的字母音，即長音。

開音節和閉音節之間的區別就在于二者結構不同,發音不同。一般來說，單詞后幾個字母結構為元音字母+輔音字母+e時，元音字母發開音節，即讀字母本音，而其中的e不發音，如take,blame,name,等單詞中的a，此種情況稱為相對開音節；字母直接在最后或最后只有一個e，則往往發其本音，如hi,blue（其中u讀/u:/）,等。

一．BINGO游戲

先讓學生在本子上畫九個格，每個格內填寫一個聽道的單詞或字母，最后當老師念完后，老師選3個單詞念出來，只要學生把這3個單詞填寫在一條線上，便可win the game,得到一個BINGO。該游戲適合單詞，字母教學。

二、講故事游戲

讓每個學生說一句話，然后組成一篇短文，再偶筆頭能力較強的須生作好筆記，選出口語最好的演講出來，生動形象。

三、詞匯教學游戲

詞匯是語言的三大要素之一，是語言的基本材料，它猶如建筑物的磚石，沒有了詞匯，任何語言都是難以想象的。

1、單詞接力賽

將學生分成A、B兩組，每組人數相等，每組的第一個同學在黑板上寫出一個單詞，本組的第二個同學以第一個單詞末尾的字母開頭，烈軍屬出第二個單詞，且不能與寫過單詞重復。看哪一組在規定的時間內寫的單詞多，拼寫錯誤少，字跡工整則為優勝者。例

2、找顏色

老師說出某物體名稱，然后要求學生說出該物體的顏色，并且說出一個完整的句子。

老師說出一個字母，讓一個學生口頭說出5個此字母開頭的單詞，反應迅速，發音正確取勝，獎勵他說出另一個字母，由其指定另一個同學講出另外5個單詞，講不出者被罰下，另找一名同學回答，答對者，往下做，但作為詞頭的字母不能重復出現。例：A：an，and，angle，are，ask…… B：box，book，big，black，breakfast。

5、單詞競賽

將學生分成幾組，教師按分組數目在黑板上劃成幾個格，一組占一格。然后教師提出單詞比賽的范圍和要求：

例如：寫動物名稱：cat，dog，mouse，elephant，monkey，panda，cook，fish，hen……

寫人體部位：head，arm，leg，foot，hand，eye，ear，mouth，nose。寫水果名稱，寫表示顏色的名稱，學習用品、表示時間自然物體和現象的詞、人物動物、不可數名詞等。

此游戲的目的是幫學生有意識地將單詞及其詞類分門別類地學習，歸納和記憶。

6、反義詞的游戲

將學生分成A、B兩組。A組的一個同學說出一個單詞，B組的第一個同學給出該詞的反義詞。第二個同學接著往下做，中間出現冷場或做錯了反義詞，扣一分，最后算總分，然后兩組互易角色，最后全班把所有的詞做一總結，由教師寫在黑板上。例：good-bad wrong-right long-short

四、聽力理解游戲。

在語言的學習中，聽懂別人的談話甚至比表達自己的思想更難。許多學生能用英語表達自己，但卻聽不懂對方講話。聽力理解游戲的目的是訓練學生呼懂別人的講話內容，抓住別人講話內容中的主要意思的能力。在聽力訓練中發展學生的聽覺能力和反應能力。

1、西蒙的命令。

教師在黑板上用簡筆畫畫出西蒙，介紹西蒙的英語名字叫simon。在聽力訓練中由他發出命令。當大家聽到“Simon says，'stand up'！”大家立即站起來，“Simon says，'sit down'！”大家就坐下。否則什么也別做。若誰做錯了，就暫時退出游戲，不犯錯者為贏。例如：“Simon says'Touch your head''hands on the desk'！”

2、草圖游戲

這是一個訓練聽覺能力的游戲，老師讓同學們拿出紙筆，然后播放錄音內容。學生可以根據錄音內容以草圖去畫，物體以方或圓塊表示出來，在廣場或圓塊中寫出該物體的名稱。例：Let's draw our school/classroom.This is our classroom.Twenty-five desks are in our classroom.A blackboard is on the front wall.A teacher's desk and a chair are in the front of the classroom.There are six windows on the wall.Two doors are opened.Three letters 'A、B、C' aer on the blackboard.這種游戲既練習了聽力，又復習了方位介詞短語的用法。請一至兩名學生把草圖畫在黑板上。

k.k.音標是註明美式英語的讀音，而國際音標IPA是註明英式英語的讀音。

英式發音與美式發音主要的差別在於母音的唸法。

元音：

英語和美語的發音最大的區別之一在它們對渾元音（schwa，音標中的倒寫e，）的處理。英語中，渾元音在單元音中常通發生在一些非重讀的短音a（如about）和短音er（如computer）上。美語中的er很少為渾元音，并有時對短音i（如sentimental,actuality）和u（如wuss），甚至短音的oo（如：hooker）采用了渾元音。（這四個例子在英語中的發音分別為[i], [i], [u:], [u]）渾元音的讀音是不定的，但是聽起來差不多像一個急促的介于“俄”和“啊”的發音。

英語和美語的發音最具代表性的區別是對er的發音的不同。英語中，短音的er是如上所述的渾元音，但長音的er也不過是個拉長了的渾元音，聽起來是一個很夸張的介于“俄”和“啊”的聲音。而美語中，er聽起來怎么都是個“兒”音（例外是一些俗語中發成渾元音）。

ar：除了輕讀短音（如singular）和者后連元音（如clarity），英語的ar全部清一色的長音[a:]，而美語中，是“阿爾”。事實上，凡是有r在一個音節尾部的時候，美英發音通常都是不一樣的，如tour(英：吐啊，美：吐兒)，tear(英：踢啊，美：踢兒)，pair（英：pe啊，美：pe兒）。甚至在剛才提到的clarity中，英語['kleriti],美語['kle兒r(er)ti]

元音的發音中還有一個比較重要的區別。一是[o]音：短音的o（如often），英語中發音僅僅為一個縮短了的長音o（如or），而美式的短音o聽起來和英語的短音[/]很像，同時長音o后面如果有r都通常像上一段里說的那樣兒化了，沒有的話（如plausible, applause）就自動變成了一個短音的o的發音。

輔音： 英語的輔音和美語的輔音是基本一樣的，但在使用習慣上有些差別。比較重要的也只有以下兩個：

/r/ 在詞尾時表示美式英語通常都發/r/音，但在英式英語中，只有後面一個單詞是以母音開始才發這個音。在做輔音時，其實差別也就是當r在第一個詞的詞尾，而第二個詞以元音開頭，英語把r完全當作元音處理，而美語會把r連讀當作后面一個詞的開頭元音的輔音，如詞組clear animosity，英語會讀成clear|animosity，而美語會讀成clear-ranimosity。

另一個比較明顯的區別是d和t。在一部分非重讀音節中(如paddle，rattle, actuality)，英語會清楚地發音這兩個字母，但在美語中d和t常常會被模糊成一個很難解釋的音，跟其它的語言比較，如果你知道西班牙語或者意大利語，它跟短彈音r很接近;如果你懂日語，那么らりるれろ行的輔音很像。如果你都不知道，那么最接近的解釋就是邊音l了，但是差了那么一節，就看你自己體會了。

還有一點，history, factory這些詞，大家可能都發現o的發音（是一個渾元音）在很多音標標注中都是打了括號的。在英國，英語受文言文的影響喜歡省略這個o，而在美國，這個o常常是發了音的。（如果大家對文言文或者詩歌感興趣，會發現很多渾元音的字母是用一個單引號'表示的，表示省略）[/b] 語氣：

英國人的語氣抑揚頓挫，語調高亢，和法語頗有幾分類似（不過他們是不會承認的），并且英國人嘲笑美國人說話有氣無力，松散無韻律。

美國人說話相對比較穩重低沉，句勢通常呈降調，并且速度慢一些。美國人則愛嘲笑英國人的語氣的輕微的歇斯底里，女里女氣的說法。

其他：

澳洲口音：澳洲口音和英國口音大部分很像，不過澳洲人發[ei]音全部發成[ai]，也就是，即使他們最常用的詞兒mate,都說成[mait]（像might）。

埃及口音：埃及口音的英語聽起來和埃及口音的阿拉伯語很像。另外，用彈音發r也被使用。

印度口音：印度口音和英國口音比較相似，帶了些泥巴味兒，不過現在的印度人開始傾慕美國口音了（印度人特崇洋媚外，排的電影全是關于在發達國家的富裕美麗年輕的印度移民）。

香港口音：沒有對香港同胞污蔑的意思，不過香港口音聽起來和粵語差不多，發音非常的重，同時帶了英國口音的味道。很多人發不出th音，說不出three就說free.南非口音：沒聽過。

英國鄉土音：英國自己的口音都眾多，不過共同的特征是h常常不發，并且連音特多。

美國北方口音：以夸張的o音出名，如talk, walk, off, coffee這四個詞，紐約市人會發成：twok, wok, woff, kwoffee（這里的o均為長音“喔”）。

美國南方口音：以把[ai]發成[ae]為最大特稱，如I'd like a light beer,南方人會說成ae'd laek a laet beer。同時說話慢條斯理

1、發音稍有不同，樓上的同學已經說了很多了。

2、詞匯有些不同。如：秋天（英英）autumn(美英）fall 電影（英英）film（美英）movie 假期（英英）holiday（美英）vacation 一樓（英英）ground floor（美英）first floor 我認為（英英）I think(美英）I guess

3、拼寫有些不同

如：顏色（英英）colour（美英）color 中心(英英）centre（美英）center 游客（英英)traveller（美英）traveler

總的說來，區別差異不是很大，以上說的區別都是可以忽略不計的。
