——詠梅詩賞析
寒夜客來茶當(dāng)酒,竹爐湯沸火初紅;尋常一樣窗前月,才有梅花便不同。——杜耒《寒夜》
詠梅的詩詞有好多,最著名的有陸游的“無意苦爭春,一任群芳妒,零落成泥碾作塵,只有香如故。”印象中李清照的較多:“雪里已知春信至,寒梅點綴瓊枝膩。......莫辭醉,此花不與群花比。”“年年雪里,常插梅花醉,挪盡梅花無好意,贏得滿衣清淚!今年海角天涯,蕭蕭兩鬢生華。看取晚來風(fēng)勢,故應(yīng)難看梅花。”詠梅,一般取其傲和苦寒,是一種苦境。
初看到這首詩,覺得是詠茶,也覺得是在寫梅花的。慢慢品味,呵呵卻覺得更恰當(dāng)?shù)脑妼懹亚椤:顾凤L(fēng),擁被難眠,突有故人到訪,披衣而起,倒屐相迎。然廚無余肴,柜無陳釀,鏟雪融水,發(fā)火煮茶。舍外雪壓寒枝悄然自墜,竹爐里松炭星火四濺有聲,釜中茶湯魚眼乍現(xiàn),此時風(fēng)寧月朗,更有數(shù)點疏梅映窗,又是另一種境界。
其實月也尋常,梅也尋常,只是有朋遠來心緒不尋常罷了。呵呵,想想遠方朝思暮想的人寒夜而來,是何種心情?這不關(guān)乎寒舍,不關(guān)乎陳釀香茗、紅泥火爐、也不關(guān)乎明月 1
寒梅暗香浮動,只關(guān)乎情感與心的交流。相由心生,想你的時候,只愿是薄草間的一只流熒,夜夜為你提著凝血的燈,只盼在你黑色夜空下有了亮光;只愿是細枝粗干,勾花點蕊的梅花,春去花落飄無痕。

摘 要:北宋著名詩人黃庭堅是一位深受禪宗思想影響的佛學(xué)愛好者,同時也是宋代品茶賞茗風(fēng)尚的代表人物。在其流傳于世的詠荼詩中,有不少篇章都滲透著禪茶審莢的意境,將宋代禪茶文化的特色展現(xiàn)無遺。

禪茶的說法,來源很久。從最初,茶作為僧人日常修心養(yǎng)性生活中不可或缺的調(diào)劑飲品:到在佛事實踐過程中,佛教徒逐漸在禪宗精義與茶道之間找到越來越多的思想內(nèi)涵方面的共通之處:禪茶就是在這樣的基礎(chǔ)上產(chǎn)生了。茶清靜純潔的品質(zhì)內(nèi)涵與妙香流溢的佛法禪機相映生輝,茶的自然屑性被賦予宗教理想精神:再加上禪宗道場趙州古佛的“吃茶去“公案,和禪宗高僧圓悟克勤的“禪茶一味”之說,吃茶已然成為成為禪宗修行者修身養(yǎng)性。開啟智慧的常緣之法。
北宋文人多喜參禪,其廣泛性甚至引發(fā)了文人居士階層的出現(xiàn)。而出生于禪宗圣地江西的黃庭堅更是深受濡染,他曾自稱是”是僧有發(fā),似俗無空,作夢中夢,悟身外身”。同時黃庭堅的老家江西修水恰恰又是宋代非常出名的“雙井茶”的產(chǎn)地,這種尚茶愛茶的氛圍不能不成為黃庭堅藝術(shù)世界的重要構(gòu)成部分。禪、茶兩種包含豐富內(nèi)涵的文化集中在一個才華橫溢的詩人身上,必然譜寫出溢滿茶香禪味的美妙佳句。
一、一盞一葉有禪思
黃庭堅所在的江西是南宗禪的圣地,而其出生地江西修水,位于洪州境內(nèi),是洪州禪的主要傳播地區(qū)。洪州禪的根本特點是“觸類是道而任心”,即“平常心是道”。也就是參習(xí)者所須體悟之道來自于與日常生活直接相聯(lián)系的現(xiàn)實之心,這一現(xiàn)實之心即真即妄,又非真非妄。這種引導(dǎo)參禪者將禪與個人的日常生活、行為、意念、感情融合成一體的方法,將禪法與茶事聯(lián)系在了一起。黃庭堅對茶和茶事都是比較熟悉的,他在(寄新茶與南禪師)中說到“筠焙熟香茶,能醫(yī)病眼花。因甘野夫食,聊寄法王家。石缽收云液,銅鉼煮露華。一甌資舌本。吾欲問三車”。作者先提到茶的提神明目的功效。并以謙遜的語氣,表達出對佛門以及高僧的尊敬和仰慕之情,只有以茶趣的清雅才能配得上佛門的幽遠:第三聯(lián)的歌詠中,寫“石缽”和“銅鉼”這種簡單質(zhì)樸的禪門器皿盛有的清茶,卻堪稱仙界玉露,令人回味。而“一甌資舌本,吾欲問三車”無疑是借品茶來叩問撣機佛性,將飲茶與問道巧妙地融合為了一體,這其中“三車”是典型的佛門術(shù)語,以三車喻三乘。謂以羊車喻聲聞乘(小乘),以鹿車喻緣覺乘(中乘)以牛車喻菩薩乘(大乘)。這種在日常生活中時時處處體驗禪意,一舉一動不忘修身的生活態(tài)度也是當(dāng)時的上層社會士大夫們的生活常態(tài)和情趣,正如司馬光所謂“近來朝野客,無座不談禪”。
再來看看這首((今歲官茶極妙而難為賞音者戲作兩詩用前韻)其二):“乳花翻碗正眉開,時苦渴羌沖熱來。知味者誰心已許,維摩雖默語如雷。”茶色可以賞靜賞悅情,茶湯可以解渴清心,更要緊的是茶味可以沁人脾胃,點神凈思,恰如知已的精神交流,不著多語,便可醍醐灌頂,心領(lǐng)神會。在這里,黃庭堅略帶戲謔地用到了一個佛教典故:“時維摩詰默默無言,文殊師利嘆日:‘善哉,善哉,乃至無有文字,語言,是真人不二法門,”((維摩詰經(jīng)二))。禪宗參悟講究的是頓悟,直指人心,不立文字,不求言語驚人。不求行為出脫,只要求內(nèi)心深處的與佛法真義的相知音,這恰如品茶,甘苦自知,冷暖有覺,只可意會不可言傳。黃庭堅已經(jīng)習(xí)慣于把飲茶的愜意妙感同習(xí)禪的靈思巧悟自然聯(lián)系在一起,構(gòu)成自己日常生活情趣的一個重要組成成分,這樣一來,所有的茶事都可成為佛事,一壺一盞,一葉一水皆可人禪。
二、清茗滌蕩得禪心
禪與詩都重視內(nèi)心體驗。重視妙悟、啟示和象喻。追求言外之意,在思維方式和表達方法上有許多共通之處,而這種精神層次上的融會貫通再借助高雅清幽的茶事體驗進行表達,便形成了從容深邃的安寂清空的境界。
惠山泉是宋代文人廣為傳頌的烹茗佳源,曾獲得過不少贊頌,被稱為“人間第二泉”o,而在黃庭堅筆下,呈現(xiàn)的是“錫谷寒泉橢石俱,并得新詩蠆尾書。急呼烹鼎供茗事,晴江急雨看跳珠。
是功與世滌膻腴,令我屢空常晏如。安得左幡清潁尾。風(fēng)爐煮茗臥西湖”。((謝黃從善司業(yè)寄惠山泉))佳泉烹茗,不僅解得苦讀疲累,更可滌得肺腑肝腸,使一顆世俗困頓÷之心暫能洗卻紅塵污垢,求取真全。全篇并未直接強調(diào)對佛教經(jīng)義的引申和體悟,但文中時時滲透出來的“清心”。“別世”,“忘懷”等理念,哪一個不是飽含了對包括禪宗在內(nèi)的佛學(xué)義理的精髓的吸收呢?這種體悟或許也和當(dāng)時士人所受的思想影響一樣,不免混雜了道家的出世清修意念,但其中超塵況我的境界則更多是“苦、靜、凡、放”的撣茶思想的忠實體現(xiàn)。
不過如果在禪茶文化中僅僅是體驗到超然物外,不問世事的“養(yǎng)性”,這顯然不符合宋代文人,尤其是北宋文人的心志,事實上,宋代詩學(xué)創(chuàng)作在思考的時候。探討對象往往從純粹的審美感悟體驗到在詩歌中沉淀自己的思索,最后還擴展到詩人應(yīng)該具備的胸襟懷抱。只有這種意境最終得以構(gòu)成的時候,用禪家的話頭來比況,這才可以“截斷眾流”“究竟了義”。
在這里可為佐證的是<奉同六舅尚書詠茶碾煎烹之一):“要及新茶碾一杯,不應(yīng)傳寶到云來。碎身粉骨方馀味,莫厭聲喧萬壑雷,”以及<謝人惠茶):“一規(guī)蒼玉琢蜿蜒,藉有佳人錦緞鮮。莫笑持歸淮海去,為君重試大明泉。”前者在吟詠沖泡茶湯的過程中,吐露丁對茶餅“碎身粉骨”方“得余味”現(xiàn)象所蘊含的人生道理的慨嘆,后者則拋卻往日詠茶詩歌的日常閑情調(diào)侃,用“蒼玉?錦緞”作比,接著借用“淮海”的象征意味,寄寓了作者內(nèi)心忽然掀起的高慨之情,而“為君重試大明泉,里不經(jīng)意間流露的適意與慷慨曠達。則一改舊緒,充盈著胸懷萬物的闊大心境。
撣茶之所以廣為后世士人所喜愛所接受融會,是因為這種結(jié)合了靜修與清飲的范式,不僅給人們提供了感悟生命內(nèi)涵的思想方法。,還形成一種高度雅化的生活方式。宋代文人在忙碌紛雜的官場生活之余,可以隨時借啜飲投身于撣宗的修習(xí),自然能夠放松心境,體會良多。
三、禪儒并化茶香里
作為飽讀詩書,學(xué)富五車的大文學(xué)家,黃庭堅受到的教育自然還是以正統(tǒng)儒家思想為主,所以他的大部分詩歌創(chuàng)作還是寄托于非禪宗的文學(xué)典故。但有趣的是,他在詠茶詩中卻常常喜歡巧妙地把撣家故事的佛法精神與儒門文典的文士情懷融合在一起。
(贈鄭交)算是黃庭堅比較著名的一首詠茶詩了:“高居大士是龍象,草堂丈人非熊羆。不逢壞衲乞香飯,唯見白頭垂釣絲,鴛鴦終日愛水鏡,菡萏晚風(fēng)雕舞衣。開徑老禪來煮茗,還尋密竹逕中歸。”此首詩歌將禪宗塞象和儒家典故融合在一起,“大士,是佛教中稱呼得道高人的詞語,而“龍象”一詞更是寓意負荷大法者,然而作者的對句中則是著名的周文王夢熊典故,而白頭釣翁形象更是中國古典詩歌中寄托仕隱憂思的常用意象。衲衣香飯的佛教情味,并不妨礙體味垂釣灘頭的文士襟懷,整首詩歌既充滿著對有高深造詣的禪師的深深敬意,也貫通著儒士自身優(yōu)雅瀟灑的審美追求,讀經(jīng)讀史,通過科舉進入仕途,這是文士階層實現(xiàn)政治理想抱負的必由之路,在(以雙井茶送孔常父)中,黃庭堅花費大量篇幅清晰地層現(xiàn)了宋代文人居士的勤勉治學(xué)和豐富文化積累:“校經(jīng)同省并門居,無日不聞公讀書。故持茗碗澆舌本,要聽六經(jīng)如貫珠”;儒家六經(jīng)要義的領(lǐng)悟和貫通是成為飽學(xué)之士的必要修養(yǎng),沁人心脾的清茶就是贈給友人作為讀經(jīng)閑暇調(diào)劑的最佳飲品。不過湯茶還可以“作魔應(yīng)午寢”,從而能夠“慰公渴夢吞江湖”。“作魔”即是佛家常用語,常借指參佛者因修行自持不夠,而受到外在或者內(nèi)心不良影響,進入了背離正法之道的精神狀態(tài)。在此詩里,“作魔”卻是被拿來作為文士夢中意象,從而形成生動的比喻煮象,整個詩歌儒釋典故的轉(zhuǎn)換使用沒有絲毫的違和感,顯然與現(xiàn)實中文士儒釋兼修的多元知識儲備是分不開的。
究其所以,茶與禪兩種文化最終能夠融合為一種更高層次的新的文化,其原因是多方面的,茶與禪宗“平常心是道”的宗教理念的相通,使禪味茶味,在自然平常的生活日用中融為一味,作為一個有著豐富經(jīng)驗的好茶者,同時也是一個潛心參禪的佛學(xué)愛好者,黃庭堅自然對禪茶有著不同于一般的感悟和體驗,雖然在創(chuàng)作過程中,詩人未必是有意將兩者合為一體,但是禪與茶對詩人長期的共同浸染,卻使得詩人的多首茶詩,皆能窺得禪意,最終形成獨特的審美意境。
