challenges and opportunities for postgratuates in todays competitive world good evening~ladies and gentlemen!it’s the last round of this competition tonight,I really have been longing for this occasion to encourage every one of us to discuss the topic of challenges and opportunities for postgratuates in todays competitive world.From my standpoint,especially suffering the frustration of hunting a job,and working in a project of market research.,I have a profound understanding about challenges and opportunities to share with you.my speech mainly includes three parts, the first part, I’ll analysis what is the challenges and opportunities from postgraduate's angle;the second part,I’ll switch to a enterprise perspective to repeat it.Finally,I wanna to emphasize how to face the challenges and seize the opportunities.For thr reason of further education, gratuate student is obviously different from undergraduate student.But when both of them face employment problems,postgratuates don’t have the superiority.Graduate student's knowledge accumulation, knowledge level, and the ability to take an exam,which could not be able to match with the enterprise providing posts.Even if we get a job,we still have to go down to the grass-roots units instand of directly up to a higher position.So the biggest challenge is how to define our society role,and exert the academic advantages in maximum.Whatever, there has many positions only to employ postgratuates.For examples, some position of the state civil servants prescript its given request on education.We should do our endeavor to catch hold of this opportunities.Then, from company’s and society’s angle,under the influence of the saying--fastidious and demanding but inept(means眼高手低in Chinese),there are more and more employers wouldn’t like to hire graduate students.They think we don’t have enough practical experience but with a higher occupation target.It’s not pragmatic.Meanwhile,they hope postgratuates could change the personal values flexiblel.Only transform this viewpoint,the challenge is able to become the opportunity.In conclusion,I make a card to help all of our graduate students accept challenges and seize opportunities in a right way.Why do I make it?Because many of my classmates even unrealize the importance of career planning,they usually tell me they have no idea about their fature.No planning in advance,how could we find the opportunity?So we must get a clear self-affirmation before we get into this competitive world.Look at this in my hand,I call it Autocritical Card.In the first row,write down your character.If you are outgoing and active,you may do a job related with interpersonal relation.In the second row, write down your specialty.for instance,if you like to listen soft music,read books,you may be fit some queit jobs.In the third row--Personal values,it includes two espects.Attitude to life and Attitude to money and power.Not anyone enjoy a pressing life,so If you wanna to live easily and happily,you could choose a job with low pressure.Similarly,If you are willing to pursue money or power,you must be prepared for struggle from now on.OK,who wanna be a volunteer to come here and take away the card??
