一、篩選單詞

通過多年的教學我們發現，拋開文章本身不論，選詞填空的15個備選單詞往往就是給大家造成的第一個障礙。實際上最行之有效的辦法就是從中挑選出大家最熟悉的若干單詞進行選擇，而將陌生詞匯排除在考慮范圍之外。事實上，15的話，真的可以成為答案只有10，和10，多數屬于基本詞匯范疇。所以與其冥思苦想執著于若干難詞、長詞，還不如把注意力集中到自己熟悉的簡單詞上來，重點突破，效率更高。

二、詞性分類

挑選出熟悉單詞之后我們不妨根據詞性將這些單詞分門別類，便于待會逐一對應。多年以來的四級選詞填空只曾涉及過四類詞：動詞、名詞、形容詞和副詞。尤其是形容詞和副詞，即使我們不熟悉，一般也可以通過終止對判斷。

三、對號入座

與大家所想象的不一樣的是，判斷選詞填空的答案除了要考慮前后文以外還必須照顧到詞性。有時候詞性的判斷可能比單純考慮上下文速度更快。譬如以下考題：

最后要給大家補充一點。填空本身難度不低，一般考生在這一部分中只要他們可以在5到6的問題。所以在他們熟悉的文字選擇范圍的平均分數不高，但至少可以達到國家的候選人。
