隨著小學階段的結束，初中學習生活又翻開了新的一頁。俗話說得好，好的開頭是成功的一半。就英語學習而言，雖然在小學階段就開始了英語的學習，但是有些學生、家長、老師并不是很重視，好多孩子并沒有在小學階段養(yǎng)成良好的英語學習習慣，和打好扎實的基礎。甚至有些孩子認為，英語無非就是做做小游戲，記記簡單的單詞，說說一些簡單易懂的句子。針對這些情況，初中學生必須進行英語入門教育，邁好英語學習的第一步，為以后的學習打好基礎。

一、培養(yǎng)學生的學習興趣

1.激發(fā)學生的學習興趣，使學生能夠在輕松的情境中學習

營造輕松愉快的課堂英語學習氛圍，激發(fā)學生的學習興趣和求知欲。英語是一門語言，更是人們交流的工具，所以我們教師在課堂教學時可以盡可能地用英語授課，并注意堅持，并鼓勵學生，無論在日常生活跟同學交流還是在英語課堂上盡可能多的用英語。課后也可以讀一些易懂的英語小短文和小故事，保持學英語的積極向上的熱情。堅持下來，學生學習英語就有了一些潛移默化的信心。

2.讓學生有成功的體驗，并適當引進獎勵機制

課堂上提問時，要有針對性，對于難度較大的問題可以提問基礎比較好的學生，如果回答得比較好，一定給予表揚和鼓勵，如果回答得比較欠缺一些，可以加以引導，使之往正確的方向接近。如果問題難度一般，可以請一些基礎一般的同學回答，若回答錯誤，也不要批評，而是正確地引導，使其自己說出答案。關于測驗也類似，要難度適中，讓絕大多數(shù)學生有成功的體驗，這樣有利于學生對以后的學習樹立好信心。

3.教師要認真研究教材，認真?zhèn)湔n，備教材，備學生

教師在備課時，不僅要吃透教材，把握好重點難點，還要對學生的學習現(xiàn)狀把握得恰到好處。在教學時，可以巧妙地運用教具，如教學圖片，視頻教學等直觀形象地把知識點呈現(xiàn)出來，對于一些重點句型，可以編成情景對話的形式讓學生結合具體的情境練習。初一小孩子直觀形象思維還是比較豐富的，還可以借助簡筆畫，實物展示來輔助教學，這樣增進課堂的趣味性，有利于激發(fā)學生的學習興趣。

4.建立新型的師生關系，重視師生間溝通交流

2.詞匯教學

詞匯是語言的最小單位，是語言的重要要素之一。因此，記憶單詞是英語學習的重要環(huán)節(jié)。在英語學習中，教師要指導學生怎樣記憶單詞，比如：聯(lián)想記憶，歸類記憶，對比記憶，形象記憶等。

3.語感以及英語思維能力與習慣的培養(yǎng)

英語的四種能力中，聽說在先，讀寫在后。英語最初的學習，培養(yǎng)學生的英語語感和英語思維習慣很重要。因此，要多鼓勵學生在平時多聽多說，課間可以用英語進行日常的交流。并注重英語朗讀能力的培養(yǎng)，養(yǎng)成朗讀的好習慣，練習口語，增強語感，并豐富自己的語言知識。

三、培養(yǎng)良好的英語學習習慣，并對學生進行學法指導

1.多聽多說的好習慣

只有多聽多說，英語口語的表達才能更流暢自然。教師還要適當?shù)丶右怨膭詈捅頁P，提高學生的練習聽說的積極性。還應該關注性格比較內向的小孩，鼓勵、引導每一位學生參加到聽英語和說英語的行列當中去。

2.樂于交際的好習慣

英語教學的最終目的就是為了培養(yǎng)學生具備用英語進行交際的能力。教師應多方位、多途徑設計英語交際活動，例如開展英語活動周、校園英語節(jié)、英語課本劇匯演、英語學習經驗交流、英美文化介紹、英語國家兒童生活情況集錦、評選英語大王、小博士、小能人等專題活動，營造濃郁的校園英語氛圍，讓學生能有廣泛、自由的交流機會，在各種交流中獲得信息、享受快樂、體驗成功，使他們養(yǎng)成樂于用英語交際的好習慣。

3.及時復習的好習慣

要使語言知識和技能經常得以鞏固強化，教師就需要鼓勵學生勇敢克服學習當中的困難、戰(zhàn)勝遺忘，引導他們進行有效復習、記憶和操練。此外，要布置適量的課外作業(yè)幫助學生及時復習鞏固英語語言知識，教師需要采用形成性評估和終結性評估并重的原則，及時、客觀、公正地對學生的課外作業(yè)做出評價。

四、教師要加強自我學習，不斷提高自身素質

1.多更新觀念

觀念是認識問題，這是首先要解決的。對我們初中英語教師而言，最重要的是教育思想、教育理念的創(chuàng)新，必須樹立正確的教育觀念，了解先進的教育理念。注重學生的全面發(fā)展，一切以學生的發(fā)展為中心，尤其是“學困生”的發(fā)展。

2.多學習完善

教師通過自身的學習可以體會到學生的學習規(guī)律。教師一方面多學習專業(yè)知識，另一方面也可以學習一些最新的知識，比如時事新聞、最新的網絡語言、國內外趣事等，把這些知識有機地放進課堂里，在一定程度上增強課堂的趣味性，可以激發(fā)學生的學習興趣，這樣可以使他們看來學英語是一件有趣又有用的事情。

3.多實踐創(chuàng)新

英語教師要多研究課堂教學實踐，積極參加各級各類的培訓，學習專家和名師的方法，我們務必要立足課堂、立足學生、立足教材，有意識、有計劃、有目的地對課堂教學中的現(xiàn)象與問題進行“教學案例”研究，在發(fā)現(xiàn)問題、分析問題、解決問題的過程中不斷提升授課技巧，不斷達到新的英語教學境界。
