（一）2012年小作文寫作前瞻
縱觀往年考研小作文（應用文）命題，個人認為規律性非常明顯。大綱規定的應用文類型，也就那么幾種，幾乎是一年考一種。我們來看看真題：
2004年大綱第一次增加小作文，所考的第一篇作文來自于2005年1月的辭職信。當年這篇作文令很多業界所謂的預測大師們感到非常意外，因為按照常理，大學生寫的第一封職業類郵件應該是求職信，考研學子大多數都是應屆生，還沒學會寫求職信就先寫辭職信，總感覺不大厚道。結果，不厚道的事情就是發生了，隨之而來的就是網上所羅列的大量預測模板徹底失效，甚至當年有人叫囂絕對不可能考辭職信；
緊接著2006年，考了咨詢信，如何向希望工程捐款，此封信考的很常規，只需在考前做過適當準備即可；
2007年，考查的是主動建議信，再次把考生放在了非常主動的地位上，沒人問你意見，你自己跳出來對母校的大學圖書館管理提建議。這封郵件再次使網絡上以及很多培訓機構的預測失效，因為他們為同學們準備的范文多半是類似于你有一個同學，要去美國讀書，寫信問你到底是讀歷史還是計算機。實質上，這屬于回復建議信，它的文章開頭多半是In respond to your question about whether to ? , I would like to present the following recommendations.而主動建議信的開頭卻截然不同，因為是主動，所以收信人多半會感覺比較突然，因此需要寫信人在開頭稍作自我介紹，并不是介紹自己的姓名，而是稍微說明下自己主動提建議的初衷是為對方好，首先取得對方的理解，這才是一封主動建議信所必須具備的，基于此，開頭往往會設計為，As a warm-hearted and attentiveness-full 的人，I have spent a lot of time caring about the development of so that I write this letter to display some of my recommendations with regard to as follows.因此，如果不能準確使用，則后果會很嚴重，從第一句話就會暴露你根本沒有審題，得分也就可想而知；
2008年考察的非常巧妙，雜交了兩種類型的郵件：道歉加失物歸還。出國旅行，把國外朋友借給你聽的CD機一不小心帶回國了。這封郵件再次使很多死板的失物招領信或尋物啟事信模板無用武之地；
2009年，倡議信，倡議大家不要再使用一次性塑料袋，這封信比較常規；
到了最近一次2010年，很多同學都在驚訝于怎么考了一篇招聘通知，難道郵件時代就此終結？我認為，實則不然。首先，通知和郵件的格式并無實質差別，考研小作文的注意力從來就不應該是放在格式上；其次，2009年上課我反復給大家講過求職信怎么寫，尤其是得分的關鍵---第二段，你必須說明自己適合這份工作，因此我給大家設計了三大自證理由，英文（證書）水準，著名企業實習經驗，適合團隊協作的性格等，而學習主動性稍微強一些的同學只要動點腦筋，就會發現其實只要把這三點反過來，變成招聘要求，這篇通知就會迎刃而解。這就是為什么當年考完試當天就有很多同學自信的跟我說考得不錯的原因，因為他們愿意思考，臨門一腳還得靠大家自己！
好了，分析了這么多，也就是為了預測未來。綜上所述，小作文考察的特點主要有：第一，希望把學生放在一個主動的地位上，比如辭職，主動建議等，都把大家放在了主動方，而這恰恰與很多同學平時訓練應用文時喜歡把自己放在被動方的思維相悖，也是大家為什么感覺總押不到題的根源。第二，考研的考察方向依舊是以郵件為主，換句話說，只要把郵件寫好了，即使考別的應用文類型，那也不怕！因此，經過對2012年考研新大綱的考量，本人有七成把握今年考研會考訂購信（或出售信，一正一反，都要會寫）和投訴信（或回復投訴信）。
（二）2012年考研英語大作文命題方向前瞻
考研英語大作文的命題范圍雖每年千奇百變，但基于中國國情的基本事實和命題規律卻從來沒有改變過，因此命題的方向把握相對就不是太難的事，具體來說，從宏觀角度符合以下兩點：
（1）高舉和諧社會大旗（Harmonious Society）
從1998年考研英語大作文命題至今，考題基本鎖定和諧社會的大旗，反復變換切入點，而命題方式，除了1999年的圖表題之外，已經基本鎖定在圖畫題，這個規律已經延續11年未變，具體來看，1998年的誠信（credit）話題，1999年以及2000年連續兩年的人與自然和諧共處的話題（nature），2001年愛心話題（love），2002年的世界文化融合話題（culture）,2003年的個人、企業獨立成長話題（self-independence）,2004年的人生奮斗無止境話題（it ends today but starts tomorrow）,2005年的撫養老人話題（to respect elders）,2006年的偶像崇拜話題（idol worship），2007年的自信話題（confidence），2008年的殘疾人合作奮斗自強不息話題（never give up）,2009年的網絡對于人類交流親疏遠近之影響（interpersonal relationship immersed in Internet era）以及2010年再次重現的中西文化大融合話題。從這些歷年真題中無不察覺出命題者的良苦用心，即完善人格，關注生活，關心他人，最終實現人與人的和諧，個人自身的和諧以及人與自然的和諧。一旦把握此命題思路，在平時的訓練時就能真正做到有的放矢，例如，一些陰暗的，過于政治化的話題，就不會成為應試范圍，而尚未考察過的一些和諧話題，例如社會責任（responsibility），樂觀心態（optimism）亦或平心做人、腳踏實地（to try to grasp your aspiration step by step）等，就應該在平時適當進行練習，這樣在走進考場那一刻才能真正實現胸有成足，寫作時的素材才會有信手拈來的感覺。
（2）影射當年熱點話題（hot spot）
2008年1月19日下午，正值08年考研第一天，我的手機從當天的研究生入學英語考試結束之時起就一直響到當天晚上21時許，大多數是來自學員和同事的祝賀以及感謝，說我押中了08年的考研大作文題。其實，對于押題這個字眼，我內心從來都是不太感冒的，因為一個好的考研者，英文復習的重心絕對不應該放在押題中，一個好的師者，也不應給學員傳達押題這樣的信息，而是應該幫助學員實實在在找到方向，真正提高寫作水平。但押終歸押到了，雖有些許驚詫，但也很欣慰的發現，自己一直以來對于考研命題的思路探析沒有出錯，起碼與命題組的專家們算是有些契合了！其實用心觀察的人都會發現，近些年尤其是近5年來考研的命題，除了把握和諧社會這個大方向不變之外，影射當年熱點就是另一個最直接有效切中命題的捷徑。讓我們來看看吧，2003年1月考研，正值中國加入WTO第一年，實為2002年經濟界的一個熱點話題，因此圖畫選擇了“溫室里的花朵經不起風雨”，影射中國企業成長繼而引申到個人成長都需要自主獨立；2005年1月考研，“養老足球賽”，大家查閱2004年全年BBC評選的中國大事記，把當年命名為中國的“司法聚焦年”，因此贍養父母這個小的切入點影射的實為中國當年的人際全局面貌；2006年1月考研，“偶像崇拜話題”，更是明顯不過，2005年全年的超級女聲幾乎撼動了整個中國娛樂界；2007年1月的“自信話題”，漫畫中一個守門員，一個射手，正在面臨點球大戰前的心理波動，回應的的正是2006年沸騰全球的德國世界杯；再到2008年1月，充分顯示了命題者的智慧，中國正式進入奧運年，奧運所體現的一切精神就是永不放棄，自強不息，但如果直接選擇一幅漫畫就是關于奧運，又太過明顯，因此，我當時在2007年5月17號的一次考研講座現場就第一次提出了了08年考研的展望，即奧運這個熱點過于強大，所以不可能避開，那怎么隱藏？？所以只能選擇打“擦邊球”，通過殘奧，影射殘疾人不屈不撓奮斗之話題，因為每一個觀看過哪怕任何一場殘疾人運動會的人都會為這個特殊群體的精神所震撼，果不其然，最終的結果如我所料！因此，我們可以大膽的推測，即將到來的11年考研，這個大規律依舊有很大的可能得到延續。
（三）2012年考研英語預測
以下六大話題搜集，是在充分研究2012年全年大事記的前提下，嚴格遵守以上兩大命題思路所作出的預測，具體的范文會陸續在我的元旦押題班中發布，請大家引起足夠重視！
1.漫畫“瞎子摸到了真象”---影射國際對于中國認識的前后變化。
2.漫畫“相互推卸責任”---影射食品安全事件中的社會責任感和道德感缺失。
3.漫畫“股市大跌”---影射投機心態不可有，腳踏實地才是出路。
4.漫畫“地震中用自己身軀保護學生的好老師”---影射災難事件中人性的光輝。關于災難，此命題切入點還有可能為保持樂觀心態。
5.漫畫“把我整成**明星的樣子”---影射整容現象以及山寨現象

（二）2011年考研英語大作文命題方向前瞻
考研英語大作文的命題范圍雖每年千奇百變，但基于中國國情的基本事實和命題規律卻從來沒有改變過，因
此命題的方向把握相對就不是太難的事，具體來說，從宏觀角度符合以下兩點：
（1）高舉和諧社會大旗（Harmonious Society）
從1998年考研英語大作文命題至今，考題基本鎖定和諧社會的大旗，反復變換切入點，而命題方式，除了1999年的圖表題之外，已經基本鎖定在圖畫題，這個規律已經延續11年未變，具體來看，1998年的誠信（credit）話題，1999年以及2000年連續兩年的人與自然和諧共處的話題（nature），2001年愛心話題（love），2002年的世界文化融合話題（culture）,2003年的個人、企業獨立成長話題（self-independence）,2004年的人生奮斗無止境話題（it ends today but starts tomorrow）,2005年的撫養老人話題（to respect elders）,2006年的偶像崇拜話題（idol worship），2007年的自信話題（confidence），2008年的殘疾人合作奮斗自強不息話題（never give up）,2009年的網絡對于人類交流親疏遠近之影響（interpersonal relationship immersed in Internet era）以及2010年再次重現的中西文化大融合話題。從這些歷年真題中無不察覺出命題者的良苦用心，即完善人格，關注生活，關心他人，最終實現人與人的和諧，個人自身的和諧以及人與自然的和諧。一旦把握此命題思路，在平時的訓練時就能真正做到有的放矢，例如，一些陰暗的，過于政治化的話題，就不會成為應試范圍，而尚未考察過的一些和諧話題，例如社會責任（responsibility），樂觀心態（optimism）亦或平心做人、腳踏實地（to try to grasp your aspiration step by step）等，就應該在平時適當進行練習，這樣在走進考場那一刻才能真正實現胸有成足，寫作時的素材才會有信手拈來的感覺。
（2）影射當年熱點話題（hot spot）
2008年1月19日下午，正值08年考研第一天，我的手機從當天的研究生入學英語考試結束之時起就一直響到當天晚上21時許，大多數是來自學員和同事的祝賀以及感謝，說我押中了08年的考研大作文題。其實，對于押題這個字眼，我內心從來都是不太感冒的，因為一個好的考研者，英文復習的重心絕對不應該放在押題中，一個好的師者，也不應給學員傳達押題這樣的信息，而是應該幫助學員實實在在找到方向，真正提高寫作水平。但押終歸押到了，雖有些許驚詫，但也很欣慰的發現，自己一直以來對于考研命題的思路探析沒有出錯，起碼與命題組的專家們算是有些契合了！其實用心觀察的人都會發現，近些年尤其是近5年來考研的命題，除了把握和諧社會這個大方向不變之外，影射當年熱點就是另一個最直接有效切中命題的捷徑。讓我們來看看吧，2003年1月考研，正值中國加入WTO第一年，實為2002年經濟界的一個熱點話題，因此圖畫選擇了“溫室里的花朵經不起風雨”，影射中國企業成長繼而引申到個人成長都需要自主獨立；2005年1月考研，“養老足球賽”，大家查閱2004年全年BBC評選的中國大事記，把當年命名為中國的“司法聚焦年”，因此贍養父母這個小的切入點影射的實為中國當年的人際全局面貌；2006年1月考研，“偶像崇拜話題”，更是明顯不過，2005年全年的超級女聲幾乎撼動了整個中國娛樂界；2007年1月的“自信話題”，漫畫中一個守門員，一個射手，正在面臨點球大戰前的心理波動，回應的的正是2006年沸騰全球的德國世界杯；再到2008年1月，充分顯示了命題者的智慧，中國正式進入奧運年，奧運所體現的一切精神就是永不放棄，自強不息，但如果直接選擇一幅漫畫就是關于奧運，又太過明顯，因此，我當時在2007年5月17號的一次考研講座現場就第一次提出了了08年考研的展望，即奧運這個熱點過于強大，所以不可能避開，那怎么隱藏？？所以只能選擇打“擦邊球”，通過殘奧，影射殘疾人不屈不撓奮斗之話題，因為每一個觀看過哪怕任何一場殘疾人運動會的人都會為這個特殊群體的精神所震撼，果不其然，最終的結果如我所料！因此，我們可以大膽的推測，即將到來的11年考研，這個大規律依舊有很大的可能得到延續。
（三）2011年考研英語預測
以下六大話題搜集，是在充分研究2011年全年大事記的前提下，嚴格遵守以上兩大命題思路所作出的預測，具體的范文會陸續在我的元旦押題班中發布，請大家引起足夠重視！
1.漫畫“瞎子摸到了真象”---影射國際對于中國認識的前后變化。
2.漫畫“相互推卸責任”---影射食品安全事件中的社會責任感和道德感缺失。
