這段視頻主要是講我們為什么是騙子，如何識別謊言以及為什么要大費周折從識別謊言走向尋求真相，最終走到信任的建立。演講者是《識破謊言》的作者，她提到自從她寫了這本書以后，誰都不愿意再和她面對面打交道了，甚至約不到人去星巴克喝咖啡。我們渴望真相，卻不一定能承受真相，當然，這段視頻并不是說我們要如何成為一個測謊者，它要說的重點是——說謊是一項協作行動。

謊言本身沒有絲毫的力量，而當人將謊言信以為真，謊言的力量就產生了。忠言逆耳，誰都明白這種感受，那么如果我們被騙了，那是只能怪我們自己相信了謊言。關于說謊的第一條事實：說謊是一項協作行動。并不是所有謊言都是有害的。有時，為了保住社會尊嚴，我們愿意說謊，有些秘密還是不要道破為好。比如我們說“這首歌很好聽”“親愛的，你穿這件一點也不顯胖”“真不好意思，我剛從垃圾郵件里看到這封郵件”。而有時候，我們不愿意參與說謊，而這有可能給我們造成損失。

我們對陌生人說謊的次數比對同事說謊的次數要多，外向的人比內向的人說謊次數多，男性關于自己的謊言比關于別人的謊言多出了8倍，女性說謊往往是為了保護他人。如果是一對普通夫妻，那么你和配偶每交流10次就有一次在說謊。也許有人可能覺得這很不好，如果未婚，那么每交流3次就有一次在說謊。說謊這件事很復雜，這跟我們的日常生活與工作交織在一起，我們總是對真相拿捏不準，而有時候是因為我們不理解生活中現實與理想的差距。

我們反對說謊，但我們背地里卻贊同。社會對種種這些做法包容了幾千年，已經是我們歷史和文化的一部分。一歲的孩子會假哭，停下來看看誰走過來了，再接著哭；兩歲懂得嚇唬人，五歲撒謊都可以不打草稿了，九歲就是掩蓋真相的高手，等到了大學、工作，接觸到

更多的人、事、媒體，我們便進入了一個后真相社會。欺騙是信任毀滅的致命點，可是我們卻真的承受不了所謂的真相，有時候真相是個表象，謊言反而更接近真實。

如果一味的追求真相卻承受不了真相的人又何苦？只是自欺欺人，含恨而終。我們改變不了這樣的事實，那可以改變自己。我不覺得有人之初的性本善，或許那是種無知懵懂，沒有經歷風沙洗禮的純粹而已，不一定就成了善良或者說成不了帶著智商的善良。人格就是從黑暗中走出的人性。這種人性帶著血色，活靈活現，就算裝飾著一些謊言，也總是更讓人印象深刻、感慨良多。潔白的精神不過是供人向往憧憬，空洞的真相不過是暗淡的物象，到處都應該這樣、只能這樣，形形色色，栩栩如生，人自得一靜處留心間。
