本課時是8A Unit 3 A day out Reading。在Welcome部分介紹世界風景名勝的基礎上，課文繼續圍繞“到哪里玩，怎么去，能看見什么，有什么感受”，介紹了北京世界公園。閱讀內容是美國小朋友Linda寫給媽媽的一封信，以第一人稱口吻向我們描述了八年級同學旅游的所見，所聞，所感。文章的述事結構，用詞造句給學生提供了很好的范例。為他們最后寫外出游玩計劃及邀請信提供了一定的素材和思路。教師在教學過程中應引導學生注意這一類文章的重點： when, where, what, how, 從整體上把握全文。

第三部分 本節課說明

本節課開始部分通過兩個小練習有效地復習了本單元的單詞與句型。E部分的學習教師設置切合課文內容的填空練習，使學習具備了一定的坡度，讓學生較容易地掌握本部分的內容。F部分的教學先是讓學生嘗試朗讀，進一步通過教師示范教學生學會其發音，最后讓學生自己拓展有相同音素的單詞，這樣做的目的是為了引導學生學會主動學習同時也節約了時間。G部分的教學，教師注意趣味導入，利用多媒體音像資料進行教學，第二部分也是先讓學生在口頭練習的基礎上再進行書寫，體現了先聽說后書寫的原則。

第三部分

說明

本節課上教師首先用看圖對話的形式鞏固了這個單元的主要話題，用猜謎的方式 復習昆蟲類單詞，為E,F部分的教學打下基礎。在本課教學中，教師注重學生閱讀能力 和口語表達能力的培養，E部分是通過看動畫，閱讀短文尋找問題的答案進行教學，再 通過描述自己喜歡的昆蟲這一口語交際活動鞏固對短文的理解與掌握。G部分語音教學 注重知識的總結與歸納，幫助學生體會字母組合ee在單詞中的發音特點。H部分歌曲 雖然是本節課的內容，但在平時的教學中，我們可結合歌曲，歌謠內容在每節課前或課 后播放，既能滲透教學內容，又能營造良好的英語氛圍。總的來說，在這樣的單元綜合 課中，教師要根據教學內容變換不同的教學方法，以達到知識的不斷鞏固和提高。
