在這辭舊迎新之際，無數工人、農民、知識分子、干部仍然堅守在工作崗位，不少同胞依然奔波在世界各地為祖國辛勤工作，許多人民解放軍和武警官兵、公安干警正在履行光榮使命。他們有的遠離祖國、遠離親人，有的不能同家人團聚。我代表祖國和人民，向他們致以誠摯的問候，祝他們平安順利！

2013年，對我們國家和人民來說是很不平凡的一年。我們共同戰勝了各種困難和挑戰，取得了新的顯著成就。成績來之不易，凝聚了大家的心血和汗水。我向大家表示衷心的感謝！

2013年，我們對全面深化改革作出總體部署，共同描繪了未來發展的宏偉藍圖。2014年，我們將在改革的道路上邁出新的步伐。

我們推進改革的根本目的，是要讓國家變得更加富強、讓社會變得更加公平正義、讓人民生活得更加美好。改革是需要我們共同為之奮斗的偉大事業，需要付出艱辛的努力。一分耕耘，一分收獲。在改革開放的偉大實踐中，我們已經創造了無數輝煌。我堅信，中國人民必將創造出新的輝煌。

宇宙浩瀚，星漢燦爛。70多億人共同生活在我們這個星球上，應該守望相助、同舟共濟、共同發展。中國人民追尋實現中華民族偉大復興的中國夢，也祝愿各國人民能夠實現自己的夢想。我真誠希望，世界各國人民在實現各自夢想的過程中相互理解、相互幫助，努力把我們賴以生存的地球建設成為共同的美好家園。
