賓語前置

一、賓語前置主要情況有以下幾種:

(一)疑問代詞作賓語:古代漢語中常用的疑問代詞有“誰、孰、何、曷(hé)、胡、惡、奚、安、焉”等,可用于問人、問事、問地點。先秦漢語中,疑問代詞作賓語時必須放在謂語動詞之前。例:

寡人將誰朝而可? 吾誰欺,欺天乎? 盜者孰謂?謂陽虎也。大王來何操?

孟嘗君曰:“客何好?”曰:“客無好也。”曰:“客何能?”曰:“客無能也。”

曰:“奚冠?”曰:“冠素。” 天下父母歸之,其子焉往? 彼且奚適也? 沛公安在?

如果動詞前有能愿動詞,疑問代詞也應放在能愿動詞之前。例:

臣實不才,又誰敢怨?

疑問代詞作介詞賓語的時候,也應放在介詞之前。例:

即不幸有方二三千里之旱,國胡以相恤? 曷為久居此圍城之中而不去也? 許子奚為不自織? 何以戰?

先生何以幸教寡人? 學惡乎始,惡乎終?

這種疑問代詞賓語前置的格式,一直為后來寫古文的人沿用。例:

微斯人,吾誰與歸? 而今安在哉? 吾何以傳女曹哉?

(二)否定句代詞作賓語:這種句式需要同時具有兩個條件:

1、句子必須是否定句,必須有表示否定的副詞或代詞“不、未、無(毋)、莫”等。

2、賓語必須是代詞。例:

不患人之不己知,患不知人也。

俎豆之事,則嘗聞之矣;軍旅之事,未之學也。主賢明,能聽汝;不明,將不汝聽。吾愛之,不吾叛也。我無爾詐,爾無我虞。雖使五尺之童適市,莫之或欺。

今鄭人貪賴其田,而不我與,我若求之,其與我乎? 不知我者,謂我士也驕。

舜喪于滄梧之野,蓋三妃未之從也。居則曰:“不吾知也。”

如果動詞前有能愿動詞,代詞賓語也應放在能愿動詞之前。例:

三歲貫女,莫我肯顧。晉君之惠也,未之敢忘。

否定句代詞作賓語要求不如疑問代詞作賓語時嚴格,因而同時滿足了以上兩個條件代詞賓語也可以不前置,先秦漢語中兩種格式都有出現。例:

知我者,謂我心憂。不知我者,謂我何求。圣人不愛己。漢果不擊我。

漢代以后后置現象逐漸多了起來,但后世的作者也有仿照上古的句式使用賓語前置的情況,例:

每自比于管仲、樂毅,時人莫之許也。古之人不余欺也。彼不我恩也。而狼未之知也。

(三)賓語用代詞復指:古代漢語中為了強調賓語,使賓語前置以后,還可以借助指示代詞“是、之”復指前置的賓語。句子格式為:賓語 + 是(之)+ 謂語動詞。例: 君亡之不恤,而群臣是憂,惠之至也。將虢(guó)是滅,何愛于虞? 晉居深山,戎狄之與鄰。秉國之均,四方是維。

吾以子為異之問,曾由與求之問。求!無乃爾是過與? 豈不谷是為?先君之好是繼。

賓語用代詞復指的格式中,還可以在賓語之前加“唯(惟)”,形成“唯??是(之)??”的固定格式,強調賓語的作用很明顯。

率師以來,唯敵是求。余雖與晉出入,余唯利是視。去我三十里,唯命是聽。

當臣持竿臨河時,心無雜慮,唯魚之念。

如果前置的賓語是由疑問代詞“何”作定語的定中結構短語,那么復指的指示代詞一般用“之”。例:

茍得聞子大夫之言,何后之有? 姜氏何厭之有?

色物牝(pìn)牡尚弗能知,又何馬之能知也? 孔子曰:“何陋之有?” 夫子焉不學,而亦何常師之有? 宋何罪之有?

前世不同教,何古之法?帝王不相復,何禮之循?(《商君書?更法》)如果前置的賓語是代詞,有兩種方法:

1、沿用原來格式,復指的代詞只用“之”。例: “我之懷矣,自詒伊戚”其我之謂乎? 故事求遠而失近,廣藏而狹棄,斯之謂也。

大上有立德,其次有立功,其次有立言,雖久不廢,此之謂不朽。

2、不用復指代詞,直接把代詞“是”放在謂語動詞之前。例: 爾貢苞茅不入,王祭不共,無以縮酒,寡人是徵;昭往南征而不復,寡人是問。

(四)強調介詞的賓語:除了以上三種情況外,古代漢語中在強調介詞的賓語時,也常把其賓語放在介詞的前面。尤其是介詞“以”的賓語。例:

《詩》三百,一言以蔽之,曰“思無邪”。楚國方城以為城,漢水以為池,雖眾無所用之。江漢以濯之,秋陽以暴之。其有不合者,仰而思之,夜以繼日。

若晉軍朝以入,則婢子夕以死;夕以入,則朝以死。泰山不讓土壤,故能成其大。

除了強調介詞“以”的賓語而使之前置以外,其他一些介詞有時也具有相同的做法。例:

日居月諸,東方自出。(《詩經?邶風?日月》)啟乃淫溢康樂,野于飲食。(《墨子?非樂上》)

二、譯法:去掉標志,把賓語還原到動詞或介詞之后。

三、練習:

1)從屬連詞that引導陳述句賓語從句,在口語或者非正式語中可以被省略 比如上面四句話中的A,C就是that引導的陳述句的賓語從句。如果省略掉that,該如何修改。(讓學生口頭修改)2)由從屬連詞 whether, if 引導一般疑問句的賓語從句,表示“是否”,比如上面的B就是由if引導的賓語從句,3)由連接代詞

who,whom,whose,which,what, whoever, whichever, whatever 和連接副詞 where, how, why,when引導的賓語從句

代詞或副詞連接主句和從句,并在從句中擔任句子成分,具有一定的意義,不可省略,比如上面的D。注意:關于是否if/whether.Whether,if 引導賓語從句:兩詞可互換,但是下列情形除外:

1).whether從句中有or not

2).whether從句做介詞賓語

3)whether后可以加or not,但是if不可以.4)在不定式前只能用whether.(如:I can’t decide whether to stay.我不能決定是否留下。)

考點一:考查賓語從句的引導詞

引導賓語從句的關聯詞主要有:that,if ,whether,what,who,which,how,where,when,why等.

對引導詞的選擇要注意三點:

1.陳述句變為賓語從句時,引導詞用that,口語中that常省略,無實義;
