Dear Compatriots and Friends，時隔5年再次來到美麗的澳門，同大家一起歡慶澳門回歸祖國10周年，我感到十分高興。首先，我代表中央政府和全國各族人民，向在座各位，并通過你們向全體澳門市民，致以誠摯的問候和良好的祝愿！

It gives me great pleasure to be back to beautiful Macao five years after my last visit and to join you in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Macao’s return to the motherland.Let me begin by extending, on behalf of the Central Government and the people of all ethnic groups in China, warm greetings and best wishes to all of you here and through you, to all the citizens of Macao.10年前的12月20日，歷經400多年滄桑的澳門回到祖國懷抱。10年來，“一國兩制”、“澳人治澳”、高度自治的方針在澳門得到全面貫徹實施，澳門經濟實現持續增長，各項社會事業蓬勃發展，社會保持穩定，同祖國內地的聯系和合作日益加深，對外交往更加活躍，國際影響不斷擴大，取得了前所未有的發展成就。事實雄辯地證明，“一國兩制”事業具有強大生命力。

After having gone through the vicissitudes for over four centuries, Macao came back to the embrace of the motherland on 20 December ten years ago.Over the past decade, the policies of“one country, two systems”and“Macao people administering Macao” and a high degree of autonomy have been fully implemented in Macao.Macao has made a greater success in its development than ever before, as evidenced by its continued economic growth, vigorous development in various social programs, sustained social stability, closer links and cooperation with the mainland, more robust external exchanges and ever-expanding international influence.What has happened speaks loud and clear to the strong vitality of the undertaking of“one country, two systems”。

我愿在這里重申，中央政府將繼續堅定不移貫徹“一國兩制”、“澳人治澳”、高度自治的方針，嚴格按照澳門基本法辦事，全力支持澳門特別行政區行政長官和特區政府依法施政，全力支持澳門發展經濟、改善民生、推進民主、促進和諧，全力支持澳門加強同祖國內地的交流合作，全力支持澳門擴大對外交往，堅定不移維護澳門長期繁榮穩定。

I wish to reiterate that the Central Government will remain firmly committed to the policies of“one country, two systems”，“Macao people administering Macao”and a high degree of autonomy, and will continue to act in strict accordance with the Basic Law of Macao.We will give full support to the Macao SAR Chief Executive and the Macao SAR government in their administration according to law.We will give full support to Macao in promoting economic development, people’s welfare, democracy and harmony.We will give full support to Macao in

Thanks to unremitting efforts in the past decade, Macao is poised to develop from a new starting line.The Central Government speaks highly of the achievements of Mr.Edmund Ho Hau Wah in his administration in the past decade, and has high expectations on Mr.Fernando Chui Sai On and the new Macao SAR government that will be sworn in tomorrow.It is a major task for both the new Macao SAR government and people from all walks of life in Macao to build on past success and make fresh headway in the management, construction and development of Macao.To build a better future for Macao, we should place emphasis on both inheritance and innovation.By inheritance, we need to earnestly take stock of the successful experience gained in implementing the policies of“one country, two systems”，“Macao people administering Macao”and a high degree of autonomy and the Basic Law, and carry on with these effective and good practices and traditions that have been developed over the years.It is of particular importance to carry forward the time-honored and fine tradition of loving the motherland and loving Macao cherished by the Macao compatriots.By innovation, we need to be soberly aware of the challenges brought about by the changes in Macao’s internal and external environment, and we need to fully recognize the outstanding issues and problems in Macao’s economic and social development.We should be more mindful of challenges, closely follow the trend of the times and keep improving and innovating in the way of thinking as well as institutions, mechanisms and methodologies.Only by striking a balance between inheritance and innovation can we move forward on the basis of past achievements and take Macao’s development to a new level.同胞們、朋友們！

大家晚上好！今晚，美麗的濠江燈火璀璨、異彩紛呈。有機會同大家歡聚一堂，共同慶賀澳門回歸祖國15周年，我感到十分高興。

在此，我謹代表中央政府和全國各族人民，向在座各位并通過你們，向全體澳門市民，致以誠摯的問候和良好的祝愿！

今天下午，我抵達澳門不久，就去石排灣公屋參觀并探訪了兩戶家庭，我想近距離感受澳門這些年來的發展變化，了解澳門普通居民的日常生活。我同這兩家人拉家常，談家庭情況、工作學習、夢想愿景。令我感動的是，雖然這兩戶都是普通家庭，但他們家庭和睦、其樂融融。大人們努力工作，孩子們勤奮學習，大家都關心社區建設和特區發展，都期盼著明天的日子更美好。從中可以感受到他們熱愛生活的美好愿望。

雖然我在他們家里坐的時間不長，但仿佛在澳門推開了一扇窗戶，讓我看到了澳門居民安居樂業的溫馨畫面。這也從一個側面反映了澳門經濟發展、民生改善、社會安定的喜人成就，更令人感受到澳門“小城故事多、充滿喜和樂”的和諧氛圍。

同胞們、朋友們！

15年前，伴隨著《七子之歌》的感人旋律，歷盡風雨的澳門終于回到祖國懷抱。從那一刻起，按照“一國兩制”方針和澳門特別行政區基本法建設好澳門特別行政區的重任就擺在了我們面前。15年來，澳門經濟社會發展取得了長足進步和巨大成就，一個生機勃勃、安定祥和的澳門正以嶄新的姿態屹立在祖國的南海之濱。我們對此感到由衷的喜悅和自豪！

這些進步和成就的取得，離不開“一國兩制”方針和澳門特別行政區基本法的全面正確貫徹落實，離不開特別行政區政府和廣大澳門同胞齊心協力、奮勇拼搏，離不開中央政府和全國各族人民這一堅強后盾的大力支持。

這些進步和成就充分證明，“一國兩制”偉大構想具有強大生命力，掌握了自己命運的澳門同胞完全能夠在“一國兩制”、“澳人治澳”、高度自治方針指引下，團結一心，自強不息，建設好自己的家園。

同時，我們深知，作為前無古人的事業，“一國兩制”實踐不會一帆風順。澳門在取得巨大進步和成就的同時，也還存在一些矛盾和問題，仍會面臨不少困難和挑戰，需要加以妥善應對。如何在過去15年建設的基礎上實現澳門更好發展，保持澳門長期繁榮穩定，是當前和今后一個時期澳門發展面臨的重大課題，澳門要繼續揚帆破浪、砥礪前行，就必須把這個問題解決好。

越是面對成績，越是要奮發進取。俗話說，桌子上唱大戲——擺布不開。澳門回歸祖國15周年的實踐證明，只要路子對、政策好、身段靈、人心齊，桌子上也可以唱大戲。我們既要從澳門發展取得的進步和成就中堅定信心、增添力量，又要清醒看到澳門內外環境發生的新變化，善于統籌謀劃、群策群力、乘勢而上。

當前，祖國內地正處在全面建成小康社會、全面深化改革、全面推進依法治國的重要時期，這為澳門發展提供了極大機遇和廣闊空間。機不可失，時不再來。澳門同胞要充分發揮“一國兩制”的制度優勢，善于從祖國發展大勢中把握機遇，更好搭乘祖國改革發展的快車，扎實推動澳門經濟社會持續健康發展。

在長期奮斗歷程中澳門同胞形成了愛國愛澳、包容共濟、務實進取的優良傳統，這是澳門發展的力量源泉。我們要珍視和傳承這些寶貴精神，堅持從國家整體利益和澳門長遠利益出發，讓最廣大澳門居民煥發出最大的積極性、主動性、創造性，積極投身建設澳門的事業中去，支持特別行政區行政長官和政府依法施政，腳踏實地謀發展、促和諧、求進步，不斷開創“一國兩制”事業新局面。

今晚，維多利亞灣畔燈火璀璨，洋溢著節日的歡樂氣氛。在這美好的時刻，同大家歡聚一堂，慶祝香港回歸祖國15周年，我感到格外高興。在這里，我代表中央政府和全國各族人民，向在座各位，并通過你們向全體香港市民，致以誠摯的問候和良好的祝愿！

這是我第三次來到香港特別行政區。每次來，都對這座城市的發展活力和獨特魅力有新的感受。在“一國兩制”下，香港經濟平穩發展，民生不斷改善，民主有序推進，社會和諧穩定。香港繼續保持國際金融、貿易、航運中心的地位，同祖國內地的聯系日益密切，同世界各地的聯系更加廣泛。事實證明，“一國兩制”方針是完全正確的、具有強大生命力，香港同胞完全有智慧、有能力把香港管理好、建設好、發展好。

香港回歸祖國15年來歷經風雨，成就來之不易。董建華先生和曾蔭權先生作為行政長官，先后領導特別行政區政府依法施政、恪盡職守、迎難而上、開拓進取，為香港、為國家作出了重要貢獻。

This is my third visit to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region(SAR).Every time I come, I get a fresh impression of the city's strong dynamism and unique charm.Under the guidance of the principle of “one country, two systems”, Hong Kong has enjoyed steady economic growth, rising living standards, orderly progress in democracy, and social harmony and stability.It has maintained its status as an international financial, trade and shipping center.It has developed closer links with the mainland and broader contacts with the world.What has happened shows that “one country, two systems” is the right policy for Hong Kong and it is a policy full of vitality.It also shows that Hong Kong compatriots have the wisdom and capability to manage, build and develop Hong Kong well.香港回歸祖國15年來歷經風雨，成就來之不易。董建華先生和曾蔭權先生作為行政長官，先后領導特別行政區政府依法施政、恪盡職守、迎難而上、開拓進取，為香港、為國家作出了重要貢獻。

Hong Kong has experienced many trials and tribulations over the past 15 years, and its achievements have not come easily.The two chief executives, Mr.Tung Chee-hwa and Mr.Donald Tsang Yam-kuen, have led the SAR government in carrying out administration according to law, performing duties with dedication, countering challenges head-on and seeking new progress through pioneering efforts, making important contribution to Hong Kong and to the country as a whole.香港是一個不斷創造奇跡的地方。一百多年來，香港從偏居一隅的小漁村發展成為享譽全球的現代化城市，其成功的背后有一種精神力量，這就是香港同胞在長期奮斗過程中形成的自強不息的拼搏精神、同舟共濟的團結精神、靈活應變的創新精神。展望未來，香港既面臨有利的發展機遇，也面對許多嚴峻挑戰。要在日趨激烈的國際和地區競爭中永遠立于不敗之地，需要香港同胞進一步弘揚這種精神。

Hong Kong is a place where miracles happen.Over the past century and more, Hong Kong has grown from a remote fishing village to a world-renowned metropolis.Behind its success is the spiritual strength that Hong Kong compatriots have forged over the years: the spirit of striving hard relentlessly, the spirit of standing together in the face of difficulties and the spirit of making innovation and adapting to changes in a flexible way.Looking ahead, Hong Kong faces both favorable development opportunities and many daunting challenges.The continued success of Hong Kong in increasingly fierce international and regional competition requires the Hong Kong people to carry forward this same spirit.第一，進一步弘揚自強不息的拼搏精神。香港同胞要強化主人翁意識，責無旁貸地承擔起管理香港、建設香港、發展香港的責任。在前進道路上，無論遇到多大困難，都無所畏懼、奮發向上。要埋頭苦干，自信自強，用自己的智慧和勤勞創造美好生活，譜寫獅子山下共同奮斗的新篇章。

First, carry forward the spirit of striving hard relentlessly.Hong Kong compatriots should have a keener sense that they are the masters of Hong Kong and should take up the due responsibility of managing, building and developing Hong Kong.They should remain daring and enterprising no matter what difficulties may come their way.They should work hard with tenacity and confidence and use their wisdom and diligence to build better lives, thus writing a new chapter of working together for Hong Kong under the Lion Rock.第二，進一步弘揚同舟共濟的團結精神。香港同胞要始終以國家和香港整體利益為重，珍愛共同家園，齊心協力應對挑戰。要提倡多一些合作，多一些協商，多一些包容。要關愛基層，扶助貧弱，守望相助，共享和諧。

Second, carry forward the spirit of standing together in the face of difficulties.Hong Kong compatriots should always put the overall interests of the country and Hong Kong first, love their common home and work in unity to tackle challenges.There should be more cooperation, consultation and inclusiveness.There should be greater care and support for the grass roots, the poor and the vulnerable, so that all the people will benefit from a harmonious society.第三，進一步弘揚靈活應變的創新精神。要密切關注外部環境變化，順應經濟全球化發展趨勢和世界產業結構調整潮流，善抓機遇，積極應變。要立足香港、依托祖國、面向世界，用好內地和國際兩個市場、兩種資源，著力保持并提升原有優勢，培育新的經濟增長點，增強抵御風險能力。要大膽探索，銳意創新，使香港各項事業不斷煥發出新的生機和活力。

Third, carry forward the spirit of making innovation and adapting to changes in a flexible way.Hong Kong should follow closely the changes in the external environment, go along with the trend of economic globalization and the global adjustment of industrial structure, seize opportunities and respond accordingly.Based in Hong Kong, supported by the motherland and following a global approach, Hong Kong compatriots should make good use of the two markets and resources of both the mainland and the world, work hard to maintain and strengthen Hong Kong's existing advantages, foster new areas of economic growth and enhance the capacity to overcome risks.By making bold exploration and innovation, the people of Hong Kong will inject new vigor and vitality into the various undertakings in Hong Kong.同胞們、朋友們！

Fellow Compatriots, Dear Friends, 有中央政府大力支持和祖國內地作堅強后盾，有回歸15年來打下的良好基礎，新一任行政長官梁振英先生和新一屆特別行政區政府一定能夠團結帶領香港社會各界，齊心協力，砥礪奮進，把香港建設成為經濟繁榮、政制民主、社會和諧、環境優美、生活美好、同祖國內地關系更密切、同世界聯系更廣泛的現代化國際大都市。

With the strong support of the Central Government, the firm backing of the mainland and the good foundation that has been built over the past 15 years, Mr.Leung Chun-ying, the new chief executive, and the new SAR government will unite all sectors of society and lead them in a vigorous and concerted effort to turn Hong Kong into an international metropolis with economic prosperity, political structural democracy, social harmony, beautiful environment, happy life for the people, closer links with the mainland and more extensive connections with the world.現在，我提議，為香港長期繁榮穩定，為祖國日益繁榮富強，為在座各位朋友的身體健康、家庭幸福、事業成功，干杯！
