今晚，２０１０年上海世界博覽會(huì)將隆重開幕。我謹(jǐn)代表中國(guó)政府和人民，對(duì)各位嘉賓蒞臨上海世博會(huì)，表示熱烈的歡迎！對(duì)給予上海世博會(huì)真誠(chéng)幫助和大力支持的各國(guó)政府和人民，對(duì)國(guó)際展覽局和有關(guān)國(guó)際組織，對(duì)所有為上海世博會(huì)作出貢獻(xiàn)的朋友們，表示誠(chéng)摯的謝意！

世博會(huì)是薈萃人類文明成果的盛會(huì)，也是世界各國(guó)人民共享歡樂和友誼的聚會(huì)。誕生１５９年來，世博會(huì)把不同國(guó)度、不同民族、不同文化背景的人們匯聚在一起，溝通心靈，增進(jìn)友誼，加強(qiáng)合作，共謀發(fā)展。世博會(huì)給國(guó)際社會(huì)留下了追求進(jìn)步、崇尚創(chuàng)新、開放共榮、倡導(dǎo)和諧的寶貴精神財(cái)富，為推動(dòng)人類文明進(jìn)步發(fā)揮了重要而獨(dú)特的作用。

上海世博會(huì)是第一次在發(fā)展中國(guó)家舉辦的注冊(cè)類世博會(huì)。這是中國(guó)的機(jī)遇，也是世界的機(jī)遇。上海世博會(huì)將向世界展示一個(gè)擁有５０００多年文明歷史、正在改革開放中快速發(fā)展變化的中國(guó)，搭起中國(guó)學(xué)習(xí)借鑒國(guó)外先進(jìn)經(jīng)驗(yàn)、同世界交流合作的橋梁。上海世博會(huì)更屬于世界，未來６個(gè)月，世界各國(guó)各地區(qū)將以世博會(huì)為平臺(tái)，圍繞“城市，讓生活更美好”的主題，充分展示城市文明成果、交流城市發(fā)展經(jīng)驗(yàn)、傳播先進(jìn)城市理念，相互學(xué)習(xí)、取長(zhǎng)補(bǔ)短，為新世紀(jì)人類的居住、生活、工作探索嶄新的模式。我相信，上海世博會(huì)將書寫中國(guó)人民同各國(guó)人民交流互鑒的新篇章，也將書寫人類各種文明交流互鑒的新篇章。
