動詞第三人稱單數(shù)形式的構(gòu)成規(guī)則:

b)-s,-x,-ch,-sh,-o等結(jié)尾的動詞,在詞尾加-es。

如:, watch→watches go→goes，teach→teaches

c)以輔音字母加y結(jié)尾的動詞,變y為 i再加-es。

英語形容詞比較級：

1)單音節(jié)形容詞的比較級形式是在詞尾加 –er。如： tall→ taller short→ shorter strong →stronger old→ older

young→ younger long →longer small →smaller

以-y 結(jié)尾,且-y 前是輔音字母的形容詞的比較級是把-y 去掉,改i再加上 –er。如： Heavy
