【論文摘要】營銷學里有這樣的觀點：專營一種商品的利潤比多種經營高。拋開理論推導不談，僅從直觀經驗來看這個說法是成立的。比如你去淘寶購物，遇到一家既賣書又賣服裝又賣電器又賣音像制品又賣兒童食品的鋪面，你很可能忙不迭地就走開了，轉而尋找一家更精專些的店鋪。美劇作為依靠收視率賺取利潤的產品，在市場定位上是完全符合營銷學的理論。比如《欲望都市》是拍給女性觀眾看的，《橘子郡男孩》是面向青少年的，《太空堡壘卡拉迪加》是吸引科幻控的，《24小時》是投荷爾蒙較重的男性觀眾所好的。犯罪劇沒有特定的受眾，因為人們普遍好這一口，所以像《CSI》這樣質量很一般的劇集才會如此長壽。但是為了具備一定特色，產品在高端化的程度上又被進一步分化了，比如《鐵證懸案》打的是懷舊牌，《CSI》側重分析證據，《拾骨尋蹤》則將焦點鎖在骨頭上??而《生活大爆炸》就開創了一種新型的“營銷”模式。

《生活大爆炸》的觀眾群并非想象中的高精物理人才，因為這些人在觀眾中的比重太小了，將受眾鎖定在他們身上注定是沒有商業前景的。實際上，它和《六人行》一樣也是面向喜劇愛好者的，只不過普通的笑料已經不能滿足口味越來越重的觀眾了，人們迫切需要幾個wackdoodle帶來一些新意。《大爆炸理論》的創作動機應該就是這樣，甚至它的名字也只是個噱頭，因為劇情的發展與這個理論毫無關系 – 如果說今天的一切都是起源于大爆炸，所以它就要叫這個名字的話，那么所有的劇集都可以叫這個名字了。下面我們就來詳細研究下《生活大爆炸》成功地具體因素。

一、分眾路線

跟看過《老友記》的朋友聊起《生活大爆炸》時，曾經戲稱這是“21世紀的《老友記》”，這樣的說法多少說出了它在一些我這樣的《老友記》劇迷心中的地位，一部充滿智慧的笑料和溫馨的劇集走完后，突然看到這部極具當今時代特色和元素的劇集，實在眼前一亮，進而也發現了這部劇集獨樹一幟的鮮明特質。如果說《老友記》打的是友誼普世牌，那么《生活大爆炸》就走的是分眾路線，《老友記》模糊化了一些與劇中人職業、社會地位等相關的個人背景性元素，表現的人與人關系的角度更有普遍性，因而贏得了年輕觀眾較為廣泛的喜愛。而在《老友記》將這一角度表現的已經極其優秀之后，走同樣的路顯然很不容易，所以分眾化，針對不同群體挖掘是更靠譜的路線，《生活大爆炸》的成功除了得益于其本身的劇本優秀，表演出彩外，也與其打中的群體普遍性相關。從分眾切入點來看，職業是常見手段，這要求要么這個職業本身承載了很大的從事者人數，可以引起他們的共鳴，要么要求這個職業與很多人相關，或者人們對之比較好奇，美劇頗為偏愛的醫療行業就具有這樣的特征，從事人數基數大，而且與很多人相關，即使不從事這一行業，多少都接觸過從事這一行業的人，也有這個好奇心去觀看。

二、巧妙的切入點——宅男

《生活大爆炸》的切入點更加巧妙，即與職業無關，而是與一個群體的生活狀態有關，曾經有人認為本劇切中了理工宅男的特性，所以容易引起相關人士的共鳴，在我看來，“理工”二字可以去掉，熱衷電子游戲和《星際迷航》與是不是理科高材生沒有關系，本劇實際上就是切入了如今“宅男”生活狀態的龐大群體，以自嘲的方式引起觀眾共鳴。同時劇中一個非常重要的人物就是Penny，可以說她本質上比Sheldon更為重要，因為如果只是四個宅男的奇異故事會，那么恐怕也只能引得宅男競折腰而已，而Penny的出現就像一個對宅男狀態好奇、不解的群體的代言人，她的出現自然也帶來了這部分觀眾，同時也圍繞她的視角去激發四位宅男的百態，并以Penny的角度表現這些行為的反差，進而引發喜感。

三、成功的人物塑造 作為一部喜劇，人物性格的塑造至關重要，似乎這類喜劇都有一個共同的特征，就是幾個人間，總有巨大反差的個性，往往向各自的某個方向走極端，但是總體一看又達到了平衡，最終形成讓觀眾有親切感的共鳴。我注意到的一個特點是，越是極端到平常生活中難的一見或者忍受的人，在《生活大爆炸》中可能更受人青睞，比如劇中如今堪稱第一巨星的Sheldon，其粉絲已經足以成教，而這個生活中真碰到可能讓人崩潰乃至躲避的竹竿男則成了“可愛”的化身。他表現的是一種純粹生活在自己世界的宅男，他們的所謂“宅”不是因為不愿走出門外，而是實際上已經神游出門外，在自己的世界中怡然自得。而Howard和Raj的宅則是本不愿宅，而性格和交際的能力問題讓其不得不宅，Howard體現的就是宅男性需求的極端化，同樣渴望異性之愛，甚至因此有過激表現，本性實際上不壞，卻時刻散發著猥瑣的氣質。Raj則是典型的性格羞澀，交際障礙，這樣的人其實處于一種越羞澀越口拙，越口拙挫折感越強，進而越羞澀的惡性循環，渴望走出宅的世界，甚至渴望被蜘蛛咬一口成蜘蛛俠，只要能引起他人關注就成。這二位反映的是相對更普遍的宅男身上的一種特性，但是卻也以極端化的方式表現，因而也透出些可愛之處。

四、靈魂人物——Sheldon 應該說劇集開始時幾位主演的戲份是平分秋色的，編劇似乎并未把寶完全壓在Sheldon身上，但是后來因為某些原因，觀眾的反應也好，演員的個人魅力也罷，劇情的重心開始向他傾斜了。以現實的角度來看，Sheldon的某些怪癖實在是有些離譜了，比如在電影院里要發出怪聲測試最佳聲效位置，沙發墊子送去干洗了就不能就座等等。不過，這些合理的夸張極大地豐富了這個角色，也為演員的表演提供了空間。然而藝術歸藝術，生活歸生活，現實中我不相信會有人能長期忍受這種性格的人。人性是殘忍而狹隘的，相處則需要互相的忍耐與恭維，這個角色僅僅是在四方屏幕里才如此光彩四溢，可愛而迷人。

繼續來介紹Sheldon的幾個顯著特征： ①、沒有性向

注意，不是性向不明，而是根本就沒有。在整整兩季中，除了第二季某一集中對Leonard的母親表現出異乎尋常的興趣外，Sheldon沒有對任何男女流露出半點欲求。就像Howard說的那樣，也許哪天當他吃到了足夠多的印度食品后，就會以無性繁殖的方式分裂出另一個Sheldon來。至于Leonard的母親，與其說她性吸引了Sheldon，不如說兩個怪胎太過臭味相投而彼此感覺親切而已。②、重度強迫癥患者

敲門必須三下，如果房主應答早了，剩下的也必須如數敲完； 吃飯和看電視時必須坐在沙發最左邊的位置上，任何人都不得侵占這個四維世界里永恒的地盤，即使當他不在場的時候；

知道別人的秘密后如果不說出來就會表情僵硬、坐立不安； 在規定的時間里必須作規定的事，如因意外情況導致變化，則會帶來極大的不爽；

接到別人的暗示后如果不致電回復就會手足無措；

③、智商與情商嚴重失衡

證明Sheldon智商之高的數據雖然不多，但每一項都非常嚇人，比如小小年紀就已經有多少個博士學位加身，十幾歲就去某大學當客座教授，最年輕的XXX獎得主等等（原諒我記不清獎項的名字了，但肯定不是諾貝爾）。正因為這份高智商帶來的震懾力，人們對其情商之低下只能抱無限忍耐之態度。當然，任何事情都有兩面性，不諳世事有時也會達到令人捧腹的效果，比如當Leonard的母親認為Raj和Howard是同性情侶后，兩人果然像小倆口一樣關于漫畫店里的一件事爭吵了起來。Sheldon帶著狐疑目光坐在一旁，正當人們以為他會說“哥們，你倆果然很像一對兒哦”時，他卻憤憤地說到：“你倆去漫畫店竟然不帶我？”

④、只能接受無選擇性的約定俗成

朋友之間相互送禮在他看來是一場誰堅持到最后就50 dollars richer的游戲，人類沿用多年的習俗只要有一絲邏輯上的缺陷，就會被他抓住把柄批個體無完膚。不過，這塊又臭又硬的邏輯石頭卻可以對一切non-optional的東西全盤接受，如果道理講不過他，就直接告訴他是non-optional的，通常他是絕對不會加以驗證地欣然接受。

⑤、聰明腦袋也經常短路 有一集里Sheldon病了，拖著沉重的病體到Penny的館子里搗亂，強辭奪理地說他沒有任何選擇只能親自來用餐，penny冷冷地說，你可以點外賣嘛----這是案例一，說明聰明腦袋有可能敗給只有高中學歷的人；另一次Sheldon和Penny的男友較真兒，認為“錯誤”這個狀態是沒有比較級的，結果人家隨口舉了個例子：“說番茄是蔬菜是小錯，而說它是大橋就大錯特錯了”----這是案例二，說明聰明腦袋也會敗給漫畫店老板。

五、具有無限內涵的劇本 《生活大爆炸》最令人嘆為觀止的還是其劇本，特別是將一些科學專業性的內容科普化后，又轉化為笑料，其體現的機智讓我對編劇深為敬佩。從第二季開始，Sheldon的核心地位就愈加突出，雖然也是編劇順應民意，但是也多少打破了些劇情的平衡性，讓此劇已有《謝耳朵傳奇》的色彩，很多劇情折騰到最后似乎就是為了讓Sheldon以他的“怪解讀”來引發笑料，可以說，這個角色的壓力也越來越大，現在看來，問題還不大，觀眾愛看，編劇也還扛得住。這些足以體現出編劇的強大功力和機智的頭腦，相信以后幾季的劇本還會有更好的突破。

《生活大爆炸》的成功不是偶然的，也不是必然的，這是在一個正確的場合、利用正確的渠道、通過正確的方式、改編正確的劇本、邀請正確的演員而完成的著作，它開創了一個新模式，提供了一個新營銷策略，是一個里程碑。
