一、教材分析

本單元主要講的是西餐的“tablemanners”,文章以簡潔的文字、直接的表述向人們展示了東西方餐飲文化的區別,從最基本的餐具擺放開始,接著介紹進餐的順序,中間穿插相關的“tablemanners”。還說明了人們進餐中的言行舉止要求,如:舉杯、飲酒,最后寬慰人們與時俱進。學習本單元能夠讓學生了解中西方餐飲文化的區別。本課是本單元的第一課,以聽說為主。英語是用來交流的,因此怎樣提高學生的聽說能力在英語教學中起著非常重要的作用。

二、教學目標

1.知識目標:學習掌握一些新的單詞和短語,如:apologize,apology,fault,situation,oops, introduce,forgive,interrupt,forgiveme,etc.2.能力目標:使學生能夠用英語進行自我介紹、道歉、怎樣得到別人的許可等。3.德育目標:使學生了解中西方餐桌文化的差別,以使得學生能比較、認識它們各自的特點。

六、教學步驟

1.導入:在上課前和課間,我設置了兩個場景,目的在于活躍課堂氣氛,激發學生的學習興趣,為課文的學習做鋪墊。

一、我故意遲到片刻,由我道歉開始課文的學習并給出遲到的理由。

二、我假裝不小心碰掉學生的一本書,隨即用英語表示道歉,然后要求該學生作出回答。同時請學生們舉出他們所知道的關于道歉及回答的表述方法。然后,我對其進行必要的補充并引出本課要學的一些新的道歉表達方法。

2.分組討論:把同學們分成四組,每組分發一張圖片進行討論,讓他們就畫面內容用英語描述,對可能發生的對話內容進行充分的想象,并進行表演。目的是訓練學生仔細觀察事物,并用英語進行表達的能力。

3.看與說:看課本上的四幅圖,并用第二欄給出的表達完成對話練習。目的在于鞏固學生之前說學的關于道歉及其回答的表述方法。

4.聽力練習:播放聽力磁帶3遍,播放的一遍之前,給出與磁帶內容相關的一些問題,要求學生回答;第二遍,要求學生完成書本上的填空練習;第三遍,檢查所填內容。提醒學生特別注意Bill是如何向Cliff道歉的。然后公布正確答案。

5.口語練習:讓學生進行兩兩對話。從課本上所給出的三個場景中任選其一進行操練,在操練之前要確保學生對每個場景的內容都很清楚。

各位評委、各位老師,上午好。我今天說課的題目是人教版高一英語(上)第五單元的第五課時---綜合技能課。一.說教材

首先,我們談談教材。本套教材在原高中英語教材(SEFC)的基礎上,根據當前教改精神而進行了重新編寫。它較好地銜接了初中義務教育教材,體現了“中小學英語教學一條龍”的設想。

本單元圍繞The Silver Screen這一主題開展聽、說、讀、寫多種教學活動。影視作為人類文明的一大體現,作為當今社會人們主要休閑、娛樂方式之一,是一個非常貼近生活、具有時代性、可挖掘性強的教學主題。語言素材廣泛,涉及中外名片、電影明星、著名導演,有利于學生了解中外文化,增強世界意識。素材選擇兼顧高一學生的知識面、已有詞匯、生活經歷等,體現了教材編寫的“以學生為中心”,以及“聽說領先,讀寫跟上”的教學理念。二.說學情

除了了解教材,還必須了解所教班級的學生的具體情況。

1.首先,由于我所任教的是一所農村中學,而本單元的主題是The Silver Screen,涉及中外名片、著名演員、著名導演。農村學生對于外國名片、外國演員的了解有一定的局限性,因此需要教師在本單元開始前及本單元的前三個課時做好大量的鋪墊。但本節課的內容是中國的名導演張藝謀所導演的名片《一個都不能少》,學生對此會較感興趣,會很積極,會有較強的表現欲。

2.學生在9年級上期第6單元已經接觸過對電影《黃河漁夫》(Yellow River Fisherman)和演員Kim Amy的評論,有一定的基礎。

3.學生剛升入高中一年級,口頭表達能力不強,知識面不夠廣泛,因此要多鼓勵他們用英語大膽地說,大膽地寫出自己的觀點。教材重組

經教材分析,結合我班學情,我將教材進行了重組,使本單元可以用六個課時完成。1 將WARMING UP,SPEAKING和Workbook中的TALKING整合在一起,設計成一節任務型的“口語課”。將LISTENING 和Workbook中的LISTENING整合在一起,設計成一節 “聽力課”。3將PRE-READING, READING和POST-READING三個活動整合在一起上一節“閱讀課

說教學難點

這堂課的教學難點在于通過學習,提高學生的讀(輸入)和寫(輸出)的綜合能力。四說教學方法(Teaching methods): 上述教學目標和重難點的確定是基于“TEFL教學理論及方法”和“整體語言教學理論”,其中滲透當前課程改革的一些理念。為達成上述教學目標,我將運用以下教學方法以達成目標: 1.任務型教學法(Task-based method)

根據高中英語課程標準,根據“整體語言教學”的理論和實踐,以及當前教學改革的新理念,為達成上述的教學目標,運用“任務型”英語教學法。在實際的教學活動中,充分體現教師在教學活動中的主導、組織和監控的作用。充分發揮學生在教學活動中的主觀能動性。以學生為中心,開展自主性學習活動,促使學生通過探究、獨立思考以及合作學習的方式,完成學習任務。優化學生的學習方式,提高課堂學習效果,采用“討論學習法”。通過互動的學習方式,培養學生的合作學習精神。

三、教學設計 根據課文內容的特點,根據高中英語課程標準的要求,為實現該課的教學目標,以提高學生閱讀理解能力為重點,加強學生聽說讀寫綜合能力,我設計以下教學步驟

Task 1 任務1為導入教學環節,是學生進入閱讀材料和完成各項教學任務的熱身活動。通過這個活動,激發學生學習動機,調動其主觀能動性。具體作法如下:讓學生說出自己熟知的科學家姓名、其發明、工作、生活的情況。完成此任務將使學生學到知識、嘗到樂趣、獲得聰明、受到鼓舞。

這部分設計讓學生熟悉有關單詞,熟悉作出決定及意見的句型,激發他們的學習興趣 StepⅡ Pre-readirg 1.Ask the students to look at the title and the picture on P18 and guess : Who am I ? What is the passage about ? 2.Ask students to brainstorm :In which aspects have computer been used today ? Work out a list and compare it with your partner.此任務能讓學生通過標題、插圖預測文章內容并調動學生學習的積極性,引發學生思考。

Step Ⅲ.Reading 1.Skim the passage to check whether their predictions are right or not.2.Scan the passage again ,and do exercise 3 in pre-reading part.3.讓學生從文中找出這些信息并完成下面表格: 1642:.1822:The analytical machine was wade by Charles Babbage.:.1940s:.:The first family of computers was connected to each other.1970s:.Now:.這樣設計可以讓學生從文章當中自主查找到所需要的信息;課文教學時教師可以讓學生自由舉手回答并填寫以上問題,教師一邊幫學生retell及校對,一邊解釋所涉及到各種不同類型的計算機名詞,讓學生由易到難掌握課文。

4、careful reading Ask students to read the passage once more and fill out the chart of requirement 2 on P19 這部分需要學生精讀課文并尋找相關具體信息,建議學生碰到生詞時看下上文猜測詞義。StepⅣ Listening and Speaking

1、讓學生一邊聽一邊記下在什么時間、什么人發明了什么類型的計算機,聽完錄音讓學生復述那些內容。

2.Role play :叫學生以第一人稱扮演不同時期的計算機。StepⅤ 拓展

1.再現最初的七副圖片,詢問學生:What’s next ?讓學生展開自己的想象力,設計下一種計算機的模樣與作用,讓學生分組討論并畫出其樣子。Step Ⅵ Homework Ask the students to write a passage about the development of computers.Step Ⅶ Conclusion

教學反思:本課能調動學生的積極主動性,能較好地把聽說讀寫融匯在一起訓練學生的綜合語言運用能力,但是由于學生層次不一,在說時可能一部分學生不能開口,教師在以后的教學中應該設計內容更符合不同層次的學生,比如讓這些基礎很差的學生先預習,熟悉課文單詞。另外,教師也可在課后讓學生自己上網查找計算機發展史。

The Earthquake(Unit 4,Book 1)說課稿

一、教材分析; 1、教材簡析:

高一英語第四單元的話題是“unforgettable experiences”,整個單元的設計圍繞這一話題展開聽、說、讀、寫多種教學活動,內容涉及“談論過去的經歷”、“描述任人物、事件以及人的感覺”、“學會在一篇文章中用First, Next, Then ,Finally來組織內容”等,讓學生初步了解定語從句,學會使用關系代詞who ,whom, whose, which, that 的用法。我上的這節課是本單元的課后閱讀訓練,它是繼前面幾個課時內容的延伸,單元教學內容中閱讀部分安排了一篇描述洪水的文章,而這篇課文是描述地震的文章,結合目前時事,我想以此為載體讓學生在完成閱讀任務的基礎上對地震的知識有更多的了解,所以設計了這一課時。

2、教學目標:(知識目標、能力目標、德育目標)

知識目標:學習描述地震災害的常用語,能簡單的描述地震的發生原因。

能力目標:(1)發展學生聽、說、讀、寫的基本技能,提高閱讀技巧,培養綜合語言運用的能力;

(2)能利用上下文理解單詞的含義,;

(3)能根據所讀材料運用適當語言進行復述。

德育目標:通過本文的閱讀讓學生對地震有更多認識,加強自我保護。確立教學目標的依據:

根據新課標要求,通過聽、說、讀、寫四項基本語言技能的訓練,使學生形成綜合語言運用能力,激發學生的學習興趣,為真實語言交際打基礎。此外,每一門課程都應該盡可能結合學科特點,把培養學生的情感融化到日常教育教學中。3、重點與難點:

(1)重點:1.利用不同的任務訓練skimming, scanning, careful reading等閱讀微技能;2.對地震知識的更多了解。

(2)難點: 1。閱讀技能的訓練。4.教學輔助工具:

(1)收錄機;(2)多媒體

二、教學流程: 1、新課導入

由前面的閱讀文章的內容說起,那一場洪災對于課文的主人公來說是一次難忘的經歷,而我們可能會遇到各種各樣的自然災害,詢問學生知道的災害,展示圖片讓學生對此有所了解,然后展示一幅完美的城市圖和災后城市圖進行比較,猜測發生變化的原因,從而引出課題,這樣通過師生互動,激活主題,激發了學生的學習興趣,對后面進行本文的閱讀做了鋪墊和準備。2、新課的講解

(1)不同層次的閱讀技能訓練; 首先是Speed reading,a.skanning,快速默讀全文,了解課文大意,回答簡單問題為下一步找出細節作好鋪墊。

b.skimming,讓學生進行跳躍式閱讀,了解文章的結構,教師要求學生(work in pairs)給每一部分給一個標題,以此培養他們找尋文章或段落的主題句和 然后是careful reading,a,掃 讀 :用多媒體展示針對每個部分提出不同問題,學生通過掃讀來獲取細節信息。在通讀全文梳理文章,理解主題基礎上,學生熟悉了文章內容,才能掌握地震的相關知識。在這一環節中,針對各部分設計了不同的任務,1,選擇題,四個部分

2,根據上下文了解代詞的指代內容,涉及全文。3,針對第二部分回答問題

4,針對第三部分讓學生結合示意圖用自己的語言復述地震的形成,這既是理解基礎上的表達,也是對理解的檢驗。它可以訓練學生的各種思維能力,培養學生各種語用能力,是激發學生創造性思維的有效教學方法。復述課文是培養學生用英語連貫表達的一種有效的訓練手段,而且加深了學生對課文的理解,從而促進他們的口語交際能力和書面表達能力的發展。

5,針對最后一部分提出一個開放性的問題進行討論

b.朗讀:讓學生跟讀錄音,掌握正確的語音語調,從整體上把握課文結構并從中得到自己的感受。這也為下一步學生討論做好鋪墊。學生通過以上活動,從基本框架到細節信息把握住了這篇文章。

接下來的環節是通過多媒體展示的幾幅圖片讓學生進行讀后討論。讓學生對地震有更多認識

(2)、在情境中激思,培養創新思維:

在課文教學時,我采用多種思維訓練法,培養學生的創新思維。根據教材的語言材料,巧設疑問,鼓勵學生從不同方面,不同角度進行思維。

在careful reading的掃讀中,每個部分的問題各不相同,任務都非常有針對性,訓練了學生各項不同的能力,學生表現出極大的興趣和參與熱情。這激發了學生的好奇心,這樣既可提高口語表達能力,又可提高學生的想像能力。所以教師在課堂上巧妙地適時設問,是對學生進行多種思維的訓練,學生的思維創造性也因此得到充分發揮。

其次詳細閱讀之后,給學生提出一些討論話題,是繼教材內容之后的一個延伸,由此,以教材為載體我們更多的了解了地震的相關知識,而學生用英語進行討論,也是對語言運用能力的培養。

3、作業的布置:

(1)做課后練習三,了解地震的各個震級所帶來的破壞完成句子,這一練習有兩個目的,一方面更多的了解了地震,另一方面復習了定語從句的關系代詞的用法。(2)預習寫作部分提出的問題,準備寫一寫汶川地震。
