一、投訴信的寫作要點和套語

投訴信(Letters of Complaint)是某人對所提供的服務(wù)或所購買的商品不滿意時,向商家、機構(gòu)提出相關(guān)的問題,并希望問題得到解決和處理所寫的信件,也可稱為投訴信。這類信件的寫作要點通常包括以下幾部分:-----提出寫信的目的是為了抱怨或投訴-----表明投訴的原因

范文一(Complaint concerning service): Dear Sir or Madam, I was a visitor in your hotel for three days during May 5 to May 8.I am sorry I have to say I was greatly disappointed with the inconvenient service you provided.First of all, it is the lighting facility in the room.One of the lights is broken and another is so dark.Another unpleasant factor of your hotel is the food quality.The steak I ordered is sour.The last but not the least shortcoming of your hotel is the cold and indifferent service of the waiters.I asked one of them to bring newspaper to my room, but no paper was delivered at last.I am sure that you will agree with me that your service is unacceptable.I trust that you will take immediate steps to correct the situation and I look forward to your reply.Faithfully yours, John Smith 在結(jié)構(gòu)上,這封投訴信一開頭就說明了寫信的原因-----在酒店入住期間對其服務(wù)不滿意。第二段中列舉了抱怨的三個具體事實。一是電燈的問題,二是食物問題,三是服務(wù)不熱情問題。最后一段中向酒店負(fù)責(zé)人提出中肯的意見,希望對方能夠改善服務(wù)質(zhì)量。

在語言方面,簡潔明了。最大的特色是注意了禮貌用語。例如,開頭提出問題時,用了I am sorry I have to say that…。在寫抱怨信時,禮貌用語很重要,因為對服務(wù)或商品不滿意,很容易用充滿怨氣的語言,所以得體的語言才不會影響投訴者與被投訴者之間今后的關(guān)系。比如,原文中用unpleasant 修飾factor,而沒有使用disgusting等語氣強烈的形容詞。最后一段中用了I trust that …和I look forward to…這樣的句式,一方面,它們是抱怨信的良好結(jié)尾,另一方面說明了對對方的信任和對迅速處理辦法的期待。
