要提升高職院校的辦學質量,提高高職學生的市場競爭力,評價方法的改革是不容忽視的重要環節。
一、商務英語專業課程考核評價體系中存在的問題
1.考核內容重知識輕能力 考試內容仍局限于認教材和課堂教學中的簡單知識技能,側重考核知識的識記和掌握,而對于高級技能,如交際、聽說、寫作、論辯、交流技能等沒有引起足夠的重視。
2.考核方式過于單一 考核大多采用閉卷考試的形式,而閉卷考試具有較大的局限性,不能全面完整地考核學生的素質結構,如合作協調能力、探究能力、口頭表達能力、交際能力、社會活動能力等,對學生創新能力起不到應有的激勵與促進作用。
3.注重終結性忽視過程性評價
學生期末總結性考試成績往往占課程總成績 70%左右,這種以期末成績為主確定學生課業成績的做法,導致學生不注重平時學習,過分依賴期末死記硬背搞突擊,使考試的導學促教功能難以發揮。
4.評價主體單一化 基本上是采用教師評價學生的模式。與學生表現相關的平時成績往往憑教師的主觀經驗給出,缺乏學生的互評與自我評價,更缺乏企業對學生的評價,致使評價信息來源單一。

二、構建商英專業課程考核多元評價體系
1.評價主體的多元化。
第一,學生自評。即學生根據自己在評價項目中的表現,對照評價標準,給自己評定成績,并寫出評語。學生自評,有助于教師了解學生在項目進行過程中的想法和困難,也有助于學生發現自己的不足,找到改進措施,提高學習效率。
第二,小組互評。即同組的同學對照評價標準,對該組每位同學在項目中的表現做出評價,給出成績,并寫出評語。這有利于學生間的相互交流,有利于學生從不同層面、不同角度認識問題,并培養團隊合作精神。第三,企事業用人單位參與對學生的評價。校企共同制訂評價標準,共同實施評價:校企對學生的校內實訓、校外頂崗實習的表現,如實踐能力、語言應用能力、職業道德素養、解決問題能力等做出共同評價。這樣可以使高職商務英語專業了解用人單位對學生的要求,從而對自己的教學做出相應的改進和調整,培養出符合市場需要的人才。
2.評價方法的多元化。除一次性的閉卷考試外,還采用口試、討論、觀察、問卷調查、小論文、對照組評價,以及各種技能競賽表現評價,如函電擬寫競賽、商務談判比賽;參加各種活動表現性評價,如模擬廣交會、企業專家講座、擔任展會志愿者等。同時,采取定性評價與定量評價相結合、形成性評價與終結性評價相結合的評價方法。定量評價通過考試,以數字來評定一個人的發展狀況;定性評價通過描述性語言對學生的表現進行定性分析和綜合評判。形成性評價是通過診斷教育方案或計劃、教育過程與活動中存在的問題,為正在進行的教育活動提供反饋信息,以提高實踐中正在進行的教育活動質量的評價。總結性評價是在教育活動發生后關于教育效果的判斷。它在課程結束后進行,衡量課程質量。
3.評價內容的多元化。高職高專的培養目標是生產、建設、管理、服務第一線具有綜合職業能力和全面素質的高級技術應用型人才。因此,評價系統不能只限于學生學習成績的評價,而忽視其他方面,如道德、情感、態度、意志和體質等的評價。高職商務英語專業的學生評價主要包括三方面內容:學業評價、素質評價與能力評價。第一,學業評價。指根據各科標準,對學生的學業成績進行評價。它主要側重于對學生英語知識掌握程度的考核,如學生是否具備英語語音、詞匯、語法、篇章基礎知識和聽、說、讀、寫、譯等方面的知識。第二,素質評價。指對學生的職業道德和素養(愛護設備、工具、場地環境等)、價值觀、敬業精神、保密意識、學習興趣、學習習慣、心理素質、意志品質、體質等各方面的評價。
