Abstract

Good employment of rhetorical devices in advertising can improve the enjoyment, effectiveness and clarity of the advertisement, and be beneficial to the mental and psychological health of teenagers.Conversely, the abuse of them might be potentially harmful to the teenagers.Thus，it is of great necessity to regulate the language used in advertising.Taking teenager consumer psychological factors into account, this thesis aims to explore those rhetorical devices which may be appropriate to be applied to the teenager-targeted advertising,青少年廣告中的英語修辭手法
