一、名詞的單數、復數、所有格

基礎知識

名詞分為專有名詞和普通名詞。專有名詞是表示具體的人、事物、地點、或機構等的專有名稱。如：GuangZhou，Mike，UNESCO等。專有名詞一般情況下第一個字母要大寫，前面不加定冠詞the。普通名詞是表示一類人、事物或抽象概念的名稱。如：police，uggs，rice等。普通名詞又可分為個體名詞、集體名詞、物質名詞和抽象名詞。

一般來說，個體名詞和集體名詞多為可數名詞，物質名詞和抽象名詞多為不可數名詞。可數名詞有單數、復數之分，表示“一個”時用單數，表示“多個”時用復數。如：a bird，a teacher，an apple，two birds，five teachers，eight apples等。

可數名詞復數的構成

1、一般情況下，在單數名詞的后面加-s構成。如：game-games，boy-boys等。

2、以s、x、sh、ch結尾的單數名詞變復數，在詞尾加-es構成。如：box-boxes，bus-buses，peach-peaches，dish-dishes。

3、以o結尾，表示有生命的事物的單數名詞變復數加-es；表示沒有生命的事物的單數名詞變復數加-s。如：potato-potatoes，tomato-tomatoes，photo-photos，piano-pianos等。

4、以輔音字母加y結尾的單數名詞變復數，將y改成i后再加-es。如：factory-factories，story-stories，family-families。

5、以f或fe結尾的單數名詞變復數，將f或fe改成v,cheap nike air max，然后再加-es。如：leaf-leaves，life-lives，knife-knives等。

6、名詞單數變復數，除了有規則可循的變化之外，還有一部分的變化是不規則的，我們將這部分名詞的變化叫做不規則變化。這些詞有：goose-geese，foot-feet，tooth-teech，man-men，woman-women，mouse-mice，sheep-sheep，deer-deer，fish-fish，child-children，ox-oxen等,ugg shoes。

不可數名詞量的表示

不可數名詞沒有單數、復數之分，但我們在生活中有時候又必需給這些詞計量，我們于是采用這種方法：a+表示這些東西的單位+of+不可數名詞，如：a cup of tea，a uggs of rice，a box of milk，a piece of paper等。如果為了表示多個的概念，我們就將表示這些東西的單位變成復數即可。如：a cup of tea---3 cups of tea---a uggs of rice---5 uggss of rice，a box of milk---12 boxes of milk，A piece of paper---100 pieces of paper 當堂訓練、一）寫出下例名詞的復數形式

名詞所有格

表示人或物所屬關系時,我們就需要使用名詞所有格。如：“奶奶的房子”表示為“grandma's house”。名詞所有格的構成有以下規則：

1、一般情況下，在名詞的末尾加“'s”構成。如：Mike's bike邁克的自行車,Tom's books湯姆的書.2、以s結尾的復數名詞的所有格，只在其末尾加“’”如：my parents' car我父母的車,our teachers' books我們老師的書。

3、表示幾個人共同擁有的東西時，只在最后一個名字上加所有格。如：Jenny and Joan's bedroom詹妮和瓊共同擁有的臥室;但如果是分別擁有的東西就要在每個名字上加所有格.如:Tim's and Jack's toy cars提姆和杰的玩具車。

4、名詞所有格后面有指地點等的名詞時，有的習慣上可以省去不用。如：The doctor's(office)醫生診所;my

uncle's(house)我叔叔的家;The barber's(shop)理發店。

5、沒有生命的東西的所有格，我們通常用“of+名詞”的方式來表示。如：The window of the classroom教室的窗戶;the capital

of China中國的首都;The weather of ShangHai上海的天氣.實戰練習

A：名詞復數的變化規則

a.在一般情況下，詞尾后面加 s b.以s,x,sh,ch結尾的詞，詞尾加﹣es，讀[iz] buses boxes

dishes watches c.以 f 或 fe 結尾的詞，先將f 或fe 變成v，再加es,讀[vz] half → halves 注意：有時，以f 或fe 結尾的詞變復數時，不需將f或fe變成v,再加﹣es.而只需在結尾直接加﹣s即可。roof →roofs belief → beliefs safe → safes chief → chiefs 例外：還有一種特殊情況，即：個別以f或fe結尾的詞會有兩種復數形式。handkerchief → handkerchiefs → handkerchieves手帕，方巾

d.以o結尾的詞，詞尾加﹣es 或﹣s,都讀[z] hero → heroes Negro → Negroes potato → potatoes tomato → tomatoes zoo → zoos piano → pianos photo → photos radio → radios bamboo ﹣ bamboos e.以輔音字母加y結尾的詞，先將y改為i再加﹣es 讀[iz] city → cityes 注意：以元音字母﹢y結尾的名詞單數變復數時，直接加﹣s，如：boys f.以th 結尾的詞，在詞尾加﹣s mouth → mouths path → paths B.名詞復數的不規則變化

clothes trousers pants glasses scissors 說明：如果要表示一條褲子，一副眼鏡等，需用詞組。I want to buy two pairs of trousers.重要：可數名詞表示復數時，可以和few, a few, many, a large number of, a lot of, lots of, plenty of等連用。

注意：還有些名詞雖然是以s結尾，但是它不是名詞的復數，而是單詞本身詞尾為s。各學科的名稱中許多屬于此類名詞，應把它們作為名詞單數來看。例如：maths physics politics means Wales

fish還可以作“魚肉”講，此時它是不可數名詞。

2.不可數名詞（表示不能計算數目的人或物，稱為不可數名詞，它們前面不能用不定冠詞a/ an,沒有復數形式。物質名詞和抽象名詞屬于不可數名詞。—— I like music.There is no water or air on the moon.A.用容器來表示不可數名詞的量

有些名詞可以加’s來表示其所有關系，帶這種詞尾的名詞形式稱為該名詞的所有格。例如：a teacher’s book。1.表示有生命物的名詞的所有格

表示有生命物的名詞的所有格，用加’s結構來表示所有關系。S的讀音和名詞復數加s的讀音基本相同。

a.單數名詞詞尾加’s，復數名詞詞尾如沒有s，也要加’s。Tom’s cap

名詞的概念

在生活中，我們會接觸到各種各樣的人和事物，用來表示這些人或事物名稱的詞就是名詞。

一、名詞的數

名詞的數指名詞的單數和復數形式。可數名詞表示“一個”時用單數，“兩個以上”時用復數；不可數名詞表示量時，通常用“數詞+單位+of+物質名詞”的形式，如 a piece of bread(一片面包)，變為復數時，只須將單位名詞變為復數，如：two pieces of bread(兩片面包)。

2.如果原名詞已經有復數詞尾s ,則僅加一個’.如: the teachers’ reading room 教師閱覽室

3.如果原詞是復數形式，但不是以s 結尾，變為所有格形式需在后面加上’ s。如：

the children’s palace 少年宮 men’s room 男廁所 *名詞所有格口訣：

一、名詞

名詞可以分為可數名詞與不可數名詞，其中可數名詞具有單、復數的形式；而不可數名詞沒有復數形式。

1.從單數 復數，變形規則如下：

1．一般情況下，直接加-s，如：book-books, bag-bags, cat-cats, bed-beds 2．以s.x.sh.ch結尾，加-es，如：bus-buses, box-boxes, watch-watches 3．以“輔音字母+y”結尾，變y為i, 再加-es，如：family-families（家庭）, strawberry-strawberries（草莓）
