英語六級閱讀難點一：生詞較多

許多同學感覺六級閱讀中生詞較多，閱讀時不得不花費大量的時間和精力去理解文章中出現的生詞。確實，詞匯量是任何英文閱讀(特別是像六級這樣的高級英文閱讀)的基礎。但我認為六級單詞相對于四級僅多了1200個。如果考生能充分掌握四級詞匯，文章中出現的所謂的生詞是不應該成為我們閱讀的攔路虎。

我們知道，任何文章段落與段落或句子與句子之間都會有邏輯聯系。句子中詞的作用(尤其是形容詞、副詞或連詞)就在于體現某種邏輯關系。考生完全可以通過體 會句子與句子之間的邏輯關系猜出或體會出某種生詞的指向范圍或大致含義。因為六級考試閱讀文章并不要求對“生詞”釋義的精確掌握——我們的目的是了解文章或句子大意。所以，只要達到這種效果我們就能掌握文章或句子的大致內容，完全符合考試大綱的要求。

六級四篇閱讀文章中必定會出現一些難句。也許難句中的每一個詞考生都能看懂，但是整個句子卻無法把握其含義。就其原因在于中國同學欠缺兩方面的英文閱讀能力：

1、缺乏對英文語言表達思維習慣的適應;

2、不能抓住難句的句子主干。首先，英文的語言表達思維習慣與中文有較大的區別。中文習慣主、謂、賓的句子結構;英文中卻存在大量的倒裝結構，再加上繁雜的插入語等復雜的語言現象對于習慣將英文翻譯成中文后理解英文的中國考[微博]生而言無法對入中文的理解習慣，自然無法理解句子的含義。其次，無法從復雜的從句套從句語法結構中判斷出句子主干，同樣會導致無法對入相應的中文語言習慣而最終使考生無法把握句子含義。

英語六級閱讀難點三：無法判斷句子隱含意思

我們知道六級文章要求考生對原文的信息進行推斷。換言之，就是從文章的原話中無法知道考生需要知道的信息。我認為這是源于考生在平時訓練六級考試時往往忽略對文章推理方法的熟悉而導致的。任何隱含信息的推出都是基于原文提供的信息進行相應的邏輯推理得出的。考生如果不能進行有效的邏輯推理要么無法得出隱含信息，要么就會選錯方向而落入命題者的陷阱中。

考生在做題時可以先將問題中與原文出現的相同詞匯劃出來，然后再做依次排除，一般答案是與原文意思相同但詞語使用不同的那句。平時這就要求考生多閱讀國外文章，培養外國人的思維方式，這對考試也是很有幫助的。或者如果時間充裕，建議考生將六級詞匯按同義、近義詞進行分類背記。

英語六級閱讀難點四：時間不夠

我們知道六級閱讀文章要在40分鐘內讀完1篇長篇閱讀和3篇仔細閱讀，考生如感覺時間不夠，原因無外乎三個：

1、花在文章閱讀的時間太長;

2、無法快速地定位選項在文章中的定位(表現在不得不重新閱讀、瀏覽全文或某個文章段落);

3、無法快速、準確地從四個備選項中判斷出正確選項(表現在猶豫不決)。

針對考生感覺時間不夠的問題，建議考生先從題目看起，看完題目后再去文章中找答案，這樣更有針對性，還可以將文中的例子忽略不看，節省時間，提高閱讀速 度。如果這樣還感覺時間不夠的話，其實可以縮短其他詞匯類題目的答題時間，適當的將閱讀部分的時間延長到40-45分鐘，不過也要保證其它題目有時間做才行。
