憑著驚人的奔跑速度，阿甘進了橄欖球隊，以后又進了大學并最終順利畢業。本以為他的人生走到這里已經是很完美了，沒想到他的人生的精彩片段才剛剛結束。很不久，他參加了越戰。在越南戰場上，阿甘的部隊中了埋伏，一聲撤退令下，阿甘記起珍妮的囑咐：“打不過，就跑。”阿甘于是轉頭就跑。他順利地跑出森林，到達安全的地方，但是他又想到了自己的戰友，他又重返戰場，把自己的戰友一個又一個地背了回來。他的動作充滿了滑稽。但是場下的觀眾是無聲的寂靜，每個人都在為他默默祈禱。或許會有人說阿甘傻，不應該冒著生命危險去就那些平日里帶他不好的人。但是阿甘如果不回去拯救戰友，那么阿甘也就不是阿甘了。阿甘后來在軍營了學會了打乒乓球，他的技術令人不可思議，我猜想其中一定是有秘訣的，那就是教他打球的那個老兵講的一句話：始終盯著那個球。知道這個秘訣的人很多，但是沒有人打得出那么漂亮的球，那就是因為沒有人盯球盯得像阿甘那么專心。

回國后，阿甘因戰功顯赫而受到總統接見。這是導演為我們準備的一幕喜劇，但我們卻不會為此而覺得夸張，可笑。但是更多的給我們的感覺是，阿甘真的很實在，像中國的“傻根”。

阿甘后來成為某個乒乓球拍的代言人，并獲取了一部分錢，他買了只捕蝦船，干起自己并不熟悉的捕蝦業（僅僅是由于布巴的一句話），開始畢竟是艱難的，但是長生天總是喜歡偏愛執著的人，送來一場風暴，損壞了其他捕蝦的船只，這樣他的捕蝦生活就蒸蒸日上了，賺取了一筆錢，讓自己戰友的媽媽不再為別人煮蝦，反而過上了富人

后來，他跑了很久，并有了很多的追隨者，終于有一天，他不想跑了，而且珍妮重新回到了他的世界，當然還有他們的兒子—小阿甘。他們 的結局是完美的。丹中尉的結局也是完美的。阿甘的執著拯救了珍妮和丹中尉，至少拯救了他們的靈魂。

阿甘正傳說時候當時老師說要看這部影片的時候我不是很感興趣，因為看的實在是太多了，從初中到高中再到大學看過都不下5遍了但當真正投入進去看的時候發現每一次看都會讀到不一樣的東西！

影片的開場我們可以看到已經是成年人阿甘,導演運用車站和等車人之間的聊天巧妙的打開了阿甘的話匣子，也帶領觀眾進入了了阿甘的回憶。阿甘在影片中被塑造成了美德的化身，誠實、守信、認真、勇敢而重視感情。在影片中，阿甘是十分純潔的形象，對于所敘述的一切，影片自始自終都是以一種溫情和善意的態度來表現的，甚至還加入了詩意化的成分，這使得影片顯得柔和而無傷害性。在影片的開頭和結尾，出現了一個讓人深刻的鏡頭：在廣闊的藍天下，一根輕盈而潔白的羽毛飛啊飛，緩緩地降落在坐在長椅等九路公交車憨厚的阿甘腳下，身邊是來來去去的人。我想，這是影片中的一種暗示，暗示著阿甘的人品的純潔平淡而美麗。

時隔幾年同樣的追趕使阿甘跑進了大學，跑上了橄欖球場，跑到了白宮。在當時的美國橄欖球是最流行的運動。這也是阿甘第一次來到白宮見到當時的總統。也正是同樣的奔跑但場地不同了，這次是在越南戰場。雖然同樣是奔跑但這次的意義大不同這次的奮力狂奔于阿甘而言這一次，他跑出了勛章，再次跑進了白宮，并意外和珍妮重逢。但對于他的同伴而言這可是救命之恩。尤其是丹中尉，阿甘的奔跑與營救使他殉國的光榮夢想幻滅，他的后半生都只能在輪椅上度過。但此后又是阿甘，再次改變的他的人生。

與前三次具有歷史意義的奔跑相比，阿甘后來那次長達三年之久的橫跨美國的長跑并不具有任何特殊意義，就因為阿甘“只是喜歡跑”。然而這次長跑卻比前三次都要轟動。電視臺，各大報紙，推銷人員，失意者等等的世俗之人為阿甘的跑套上了諸如“為了世界和平”，“女權運動”，“動物保護”等等冠冕堂皇的理由，而沒有人相信阿甘就是想跑初衷。或許這從一個方面體現了人為自己的自私，總是給自己套上種種冠冕堂皇的理由使自己看上去是多么的崇高。在這現實的世界中，單純被看得復雜甚至崇高，而奇跡卻趨于平淡，真是極大的諷刺。在這里值得一提的是導演在細節部分的描述：幽靜的碼頭，一望無際的田野，蔥郁的樹林和小橋流水，廣闊的牧場，嘈雜的城鎮，飛沙走石的荒漠，這些景色都運用的蒙太奇相串聯，不僅在短短幾分鐘內讓阿甘跑遍美國，加快了敘事節奏，更

為觀眾們展現了美國特有的自然風光。

《阿甘正傳》作為90年代早期的影片，大量特技的運用可謂是一大亮點。除了阿甘與肯尼迪的會面握手，還有就是片頭和片尾處羽毛在空中飄搖的特寫鏡頭。導演在后期制作中運用的特效處理產生了似乎鏡頭隨羽毛搖．移．升．降得視覺效果。作為片頭為整部影片奠定了輕松浪漫而又不失跌宕波讕的基調；作為片尾更是隱預了阿甘看似平凡卻極富傳奇色彩的人生。阿甘的媽媽是一位單身母親，這個偉大的女性為了阿甘愿意付出一切，確切的說，阿甘就是她一切！她曾經對阿甘說：“人生就像一盒巧克力，你無法預知會吃到什么口味。”這句話一直印刻在阿甘的腦海里這就是他的“巧克力精神”。同時這也成了一句非常有名的名言被別人所說道。

聽到這句話后我想到我們每一個生命軌跡都在不同的地域存在著，而且是獨一無二的存在著。我們有必要一味的模仿他人呢，成功的人有很多但沒有人是靠模仿的。
