初戀50 First Dates
What would it feel if I can wake up everyday forgetting what happened for the last whole year?
Lucy in the movie “50 First Dates” told me this feeling.Every morning when she woke up, she only rememberred the Sunday of last year which was her father’s birthday, also the date she had the car accident which made her only keep memory before Sunday, so she always felt happy living the same habit as what she did on Sunday a year ago with the kind set-up by her father and brother. After meeting Henry, she could only remember who he was on the same day.But after one night, he became a stranger to her.She couldn’t even recognize he was the one she used to date and love everyday.Henry tried his best to give her a new different meeting every day so as to win her smile and regain their “First Date”.Henry made her tapes every morning to help her remember what happened the day before and the last whole year.Lucy thus felt grateful with all she had when she woke up everyday. On the same day, she always had the same deep gratitude to face Henry with her sweet smile. What a beautiful feeling it is to always feel thanksgiving and to always
appreciate each other’s effort.A touching story between a memory lost woman and a devoted man taught all of us, normal people, the essence of love. When two people can thank each other for their devotion everyday like what they did for each other on first date, love can forever be refreshed and energetic. On Lucy’s side, people with memory will ask for more than yesterday and become critical of their partners day by day, while people without memory will feel grateful for their life and the people around them everyday. In the movie, when one day Lucy decided to break up with Henry to let him rebuild his life by burning all their diaries and tapes, I cried for Henry’s broken heart. For her, it was just one day feeling. For him, it was long-term affection and connection. It was easier for her than him to give up their love.On Henry’s side, people with memory will always remember the past happiness and
treasure it for the rest of their life, while people without memory will easily give up at the end of the same day. What a ruthless feeling it is to end a relationship just after one minute thought.People with fragile mind would easily ruin a long-term relationship no matter what reason they have. The torture between Lucy and Henry tells us the fatal factor to do harm to intimacy between a couple is their fragile mind of
balancing emotion and reason. Thus most of couple lose their trust for each other after experiencing this weakly testing broke-up.颶風(fēng)Taken
What is the right relationship between the father and the daughter? There is no certain answer. But the love of Brain's to his daughter must be one of the best ones. His daughter, a young pretty 17-year-old girl was kidnapped during a tour in Paris.Brain got the news and hurried to France to take his daughter. He found that the gangsters that kidnapped his daughter were connected with an old friend which made him exetreme angry. He finally found the place where was holding an auction selling young virgins and broke in successfully taking his daughter away.No matter how hard and stressful the situation was, and how dangerous things he faced, he never went back just because of the greatest love of a simple father. In the movie, we are all moved not only his actions of kindness, but also his insistance and the greatest of all-a father's love.魔術(shù)師THE ILLUSIONIST FACTS
When word of the famed Eisenheim's(Ed Norton)illusions reaches Crown Prince Leopold(Rufus Sewell), the ruler attends one of the magician's shows in order to debunk the performance. But when the prince's intended, Sophie von Teschen(Jessica Biel), assists the magician onstage, Eisenheim and Sophie recognize each other from their childhoods, and pretty soon they're totally hot for each other. As the clandestine romance continues, the prince's best cop(Paul Giamatti)is charged with exposing Eisenheim, even while the magician gains a devoted and vocal public following. Before long, Sophie turns up dead, and the logical suspect is Eisenheim himself.一線聲機(jī)“Cellular” has the setup for a solid straight-ahead thriller: A kidnap victim who does not know where she is being held phones a total stranger who must then stay connected on his cell phone to find her before she is killed.Joel Schumacher scored earlier with a similarly phone-themed Larry Cohen story, “Phone Booth.” As executed by tone-deaf director David R.Ellis, however, “Cellular” becomes an unintentionally hilarious cousin to Brian de Palma's “Raising Cain” and “Snake Eyes.”
Ellis seems to have unwittingly spliced together two different films with
mismatched tones: Kim Basinger as the kidnapee and Jason Statham as the kidnapper occupy the deadly-serious, straight-to-video thriller half, while Chris Evans as the rescuer and William H.Macy as a police officer seem to be in a “Saturday Night Live”-alum action comedy.Nowhere else is the disjointedness in tone more apparent than when Basinger and Evans's performances are placed side-by-side during their conversations: The scenes keep cutting between an overwrought Basinger wringing out every drop of melodrama, while a blissfully inept Evans seems to be channeling a cross between Chris Kattan/Jimmy Fallon and Ben Affleck/Keanu Reeves.Meanwhile, Ellis pulls out tricks intended to generate thrills and surprises. He throws in out-of-nowhere “shocks,” a la “Final Destination”;he throws in
flashbacks;he throws in a gun-blazing Macy in Jerry Bruckheimer action-hero slo-mo;and yet, Ellis has no handle on staging any of them competently.Case in point: “Cellular” is the proud owner of one of the most ineptly scored chase sequences ever, as if Ellis simply heard a snippet of the song's lyrics(“...where you gonna run to?”)literally and paid no attention to the inappropriateness of the accompanying music(which just bop, bop, bops along).(The song is even reprised during the closing credits, which itself is misbegotten in conception.)
And yet, for all of its failures as art, “Cellular” is always entertaining for those very same faults
Why Mulan sticks out as a great Disney film.I was impressed by this Disney film for so many reasons, too many to list here, but I will go on the record as saying that Mulan has got to be one of the best Disney female characters that ever saw production, in the midst of a colorful and artistic film, that will resonate in your memory.Mulan sticks out in my mind for this reason. For once, we have a strong female lead, or at the least, stronger than most of them. She isn't counted among the Disney “princesses” line-up.She doesn't want for herself, and she seeks to look deeper within herself to discover her inner being. She isn't like Ariel, who wants to be someone else. She isn't like Jasmine, who sits in luxury, waiting to be swept off her feet by Prince Charming, just like Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and almost any female character that Disney brings to life. And while she does share some traits among this list, she stands out because she does something that these do not.She uses her mind.Mulan, in fact, has more in common with male Disney leads than the female Disney leads.Mulan is a thinker, and a do-er.She's resourceful, like Aladdin. She is quick to act, like Eric(mermaid.)And she sacrifices herself for the sake of others, like Hercules. She also speaks her mind, even in a culture that does not allow such a thing. She doesn't waste time pining about “will I ever find true love?” Indeed, we see that she has an attraction to Shang(as he was her husband in the legends,)but we see her uncomfortable and unsure of meeting the Match-maker.She begs for her father's life when Chi-Fu came to the village. When you see her make her decision to take her father's place in the army, she does so out of her love for him, valuing his life above hers. She doesn't wish to become a man to see what it is like or for a change.Only to save his life. She later doubts herself and her reasons for going, but she did so because of her inner strengths, something other female Disney leads too often lack.(And it is these strengths that Shang is attracted to at the end.)This movie also has a simple, but very effective villain, Shan Yu.Though not as memorable as Jafar or Ursula, he is more effective and more menacing because he is not fantastic.By that, I mean that he is not magical, he holds no special power. He is portrayed as a man, and as a man that could have truly existed, performing vicious acts that men do.We see the destruction that his army lays to a village, and when Mulan finds the doll, it shows that Shan Yu left no one living, man, woman or child. This is what makes him so effective as a villain, showing how truly human he indeed is.Granted, the producers did not develop him in any great depth, but they showed enough of him to remind us of his threat to China.Besides, sometimes the better villains are the ones you don't know too much about, or see a lot of.Of the rest of the supporting cast, I will only mention four of them as being memorable in any real way.Chi-Fu, the emperor's consultant, was a reminder of the way many men looked at women in this culture. He thrusts his head up when Mulan begs for her father's life, and when she is discovered to be a woman, though she is a hero, he is quick to insult her, and to order her execution, simply because she impersonated a man.The other three were, of course, her comrades, Ling, Yao, and Chian Po.Though they were mainly comic relief(almost like a 3 stooges set,)they remained loyal to Mulan and trusted her fully, even after she was discovered.I like them, because they were not discriminatory to her in any way, even trying to stop her execution. When Mulan told them she had an idea to help the emperor faster, they were the first to her side, even when Shang was still reluctant to do so.Overall, a wonderful movie to the Disney list.If you haven't seen it, then do so, you won't regret it.And yes, Mushu was a cool character as well.**** In Response to an earlier post by Phoenix-1 **** To expect any movie to accurately portray history in any way is lunacy.Even those movies that come close to historical accuracy are flawed in many ways. This was a way of telling a story, as any movie is.It can be argued that it tries to provoke curiosity in another culture, but it is also meant to entertain.I would also like to point out that Mulan is really not “historical,” like Joan of Arc, but rather she is a legend, much like Hercules and Aladdin, who also come from the realm of myth, stories and legends. And while there is some difference between the original legend and this movie, your examples of how Disney would butcher tales of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln do not compare to this story in any way.Your arguments for comparison should be better applied to Pocahontas, as she was an actual historical figure.
Somewhere, under the sea, weak-finned clown fish Nemo(Alexander Gould)lives with his fretful father, Marlin(Albert Brooks).Smothered by pop‘s paranoia, he ventures away from the reef, but his dad‘s dread is justified when a passing diver whisks him away.Taken to a tank in a Sydney dentists, Nemo meets Gill(Willem Dafoe)and co-friendly fish who dream of escaping to the ocean.Meanwhile, Marlin bumps into a blue tang named Dory(Ellen DeGeneres), and sets out to save his son...The splendour of natural history hit The Blue Planet is matched by the wit of the script and stars.Barry Humphries has a terrific cameo as a great white shark who‘s sworn off killing(Remember, fish are friends, not food!), while DeGeneres provides perfect timing and tone as Dory, whose short-term memory loss is a gag that never stops running.

In winter I watch three movies. The first movie is called ‘Barbie and the Three Musketeers’.(1/25/2012)
I watched this movie just two hours ago.Actually this is an old movie for me, but this is my favorite movie in a series of ‘Barbie movies’.Corinne is a girl who grows in the village. Her father is a musketeer. She dreams that she can be a musketeer all the time.Corinne’s parents let her go to paris to be a musketeer when she is seventeen. Then seventeen-year-old Corinne goes to paris with her little cat, Miette. But everyone says girls couldn’t be musketeers.Nobody helps her.Although she gets into trouble on the first day, she still remembers what she dreams.Later she meets three girls who also want to be musketeers. They practice every day.The girls once find by accident that the prince regent wants to kill the prince because he wants to be the king. Finally they save the prince’s life in their way.Because of it, Corinne and her friends become musketeers.I love this movie especially the leading character, Corinne.Corinne is one of the bravest girls I ever see in the movies. She always holds fast to her dream though no one believes girls could be musketeers. As her father said, ‘True courage is pursuing your dream even though everybody else says it’s impossible.’ It is always true in life. Many successful people make their dreams come true by persistence and pursuit. You can certainly succeed so long as you pursue your own dream. Also, Corinne and her friends were very brave and united when they face the trouble. They prove that they could be musketeers with strength and courage.‘All for one, and one for all!’ they said. That’s why the girls could save the prince smoothly. The second movie is called ‘Barbie princess Charm School’.(1/26/2012)
In this movie, Barbie acts a girl named Blair. In fact Blair’s real name is Sophia. She is a princess who was abandoned seventeen years ago, because her biological mother, Queen Isabella and her family died in a car crash except Sophia. Then baby Sophia was found outdoors by a kind woman. The woman named the baby princess ‘Blair’.Seventeen years later, by accident Blair becomes a lucky dog of princess Charm School. It means she can study in this school. In the school there is a princess called Delancey.Delancey looks down on Blair because Blair is not a princess.Because of princess Sophia was missing, Delancey is going to take over the Kingdom.Afterwards Blair knows her identity accidentally. She stops Delancey at last and shows the fact to
everyone.Blair is a brave and optimistic girl. She dares to stop Delancey although Delancey is blue blood.Blair believes that every girl can be a princess because character is more important than a crown. It is because of her character, Blair changes from a regular girl to a noble princess. The third movie is called ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks2’.(1/26/2012)
This movie is the most awesome American movie I have ever seen. The chipmunks called Alvin, Simon and Theodore are three famous rock stars.Alvin once hurts Dave by accident at a concert. So Dave has to stay at the hospital. So Tobey, a big boy takes care of them.Three chipmunks go to school on the second day. Some boys invite Alvin to join the school football team and Alvin says yes.Later three female chipmunks called Britney, Jitney and Eleanor go to see Ian and sing to him.Ian becomes the female chipmunks’ broker. The chipmunks and the female chipmunks have a contest at school and female chipmunks win. They can take part in a singing contest on behalf of the school. But Ian wants them to take part in another contest. So Ian closes them in a cage.Alvin takes them out. Finally the chipmunks and the female chipmunks sing in the contest together. This movie is very funny. When I was sad, I always watch this movie to make me happy.I like the chipmunk named Theodore best because he is the youngest chipmunk in them.He usually makes mistakes. His mistakes always make me laugh. Also Theodore is the cutest chipmunks in them.

2)
Yesterday I watched a movie named
