名詞變復數規(guī)則：

1．一般名詞復數是在名詞后面加上“s”，如map→maps，bag→bags，book-books等；

2．以s，x，sh，ch結尾的詞加“es”，如bus→buses，watch→watches, box-boxes等；

1、一般現(xiàn)在時主語為第三人稱單數時的動詞變化

①在一般現(xiàn)在時中，當主語為第三人稱單數時，動詞要用“s”型（即第三人稱單數形式）。

②所謂動詞“s”型的構成，可按名詞變復數的規(guī)則來記，即： i）在動詞尾直接加 s。如：play—plays，want—wants，work—works，know—knows，help—helps，get—gets）ii）以字母s、x、ch、sh或o結尾的動詞加-es；如：guess—guesses，fix—fixes，teach—teaches，brush—brushes，go—goes，do—does，watch—watches，catch—catches）iii）以輔音字母＋y結尾的動詞，先變y為i，再加-es。如：study—studies，carry—carries，fly—flies，worry—worries

動詞加ing變化規(guī)則：

1、一般情況下，在動詞原形后面直接加ing，e.g.go-going ,doing, walking, talking, speaking, sleeping,cooking.2、以不發(fā)音的e 結尾，去e加ing，e.g.shave(刮臉)-shaving，coming, living, dancing, making.3、在少數幾個以 –ie 結尾的動詞后：須將–ie 變作y，再加-ing。(這些動詞詞典一般均注明)eg.die – dying;tie – tying，lie – lying

4、在閉音節(jié)的單音節(jié)動詞后、以重讀閉音節(jié)結尾的多音節(jié)動詞，而末尾只有一個輔音字母時，將這個輔音字母雙寫（x除外），然后再加 –ing.sit – sitting;run – running;begin – beginning;forget – forgetting 特別要注意：這和第三人稱一般現(xiàn)在時的詞尾變化不同，動詞詞尾如為“輔音字母 + y” 時不變，在其后直接加 –ing。eg.study – studying;carry– carrying;fly – flying;worry – worrying

名詞的單復數形式變化

名詞變復數不規(guī)則變化：

1.單詞內部發(fā)生變化：口訣“oo常常變ee，男人女人a變e”

eg：foot→feet腳；tooth→teeth牙齒；man→men男人；woman→women女人； 2.單復數相同：“羊魚小鹿無變化，單數復數是一家”

eg：sheep→sheep綿羊；fish→fish魚；deer→deer鹿；

3.不規(guī)則變化：child→children孩子；mouse→mice老鼠；

4“某國人”的復數有三種類型： 口訣“中日不變，英法變，其它S加后邊”

（1）Chinese, Japanese單數復數同形，不需加s；

1（2）Englishman, Frenchman, Dutchman復數要把 man 變?yōu)閙en；

二.不可數名詞：

⒈不可數名詞概念：不可以數出數目的名詞叫做不可數名詞。

⒉不可數名詞特點：

⑴不可數名詞沒有復數形式，也不能與a, an及數詞連用，常作單數看待。

例： water

My favourite food is noodles.⑵不可數名詞如表數量，常和a bottle of, a glass of a pieces of 等名詞詞組連用。如表示復數，只把量詞改為復數。

例：a bottle of pop一瓶汽水 , two glasses of orange juice 兩杯桔子汁，three cups of tea 三杯茶，a piece of paper一張紙

⑶有些物質名詞有時可數，有時不可數，要根據上下文決定，其意義也有所不同。

⑷集體名詞看作整體時，謂語用單數;指成員時，謂語用復數。

⑸有的名詞單復數意思不同：

例：hair 和fruit 通常作單數，表示總體。My hair is black.我的頭發(fā)是黑色的。I like fruit.It’s good for you.我喜歡水果,水果對你的身體有好處。

但如果表示若干根頭發(fā)或各種水果，則需用復數形式.Danny has three hairs.丹尼有三根頭發(fā)。She likes pears, peaches and other fruits.他喜歡梨，桃和其它水果。

名詞可以分為可數名詞與不可數名詞，其中可數名詞具有單、復數的形式；而不可數名詞沒有復數形式。
