So we tried it.I said that if eBay is the sea of sharks, then we are in the Yangtze alligator.Let's not fight the sea , we are in the Yangtze River and thought.A beginning is difficult, but a lot of fun.And we finally survived.EBay beginning C2C market in China accounted for 90%.But today , we have the Chinese C2C market share of 90%.We are very fortunate , really just lucky.After a lot of things we can discuss.Today, we are always writing about Alibaba's success story.But I do not really think how smart we are.We made a lot of mistakes.We were still very stupid.So I was wondering if someday I want to write a book about Ali Baba , I will write “Ali Baba's one thousand and one mistake.” This is something we should keep in mind , you should learn to do.If you want to know how other people are successful , it is very difficult.Fortunately, there are many factors that success.But if you want to learn how others fail , you will benefit a lot.I always like to explore how people fail to see those books.Because, when you look to the time of analysis , any failure of the company, their failure is not always by the same.And this is the most important.So Taobao successful, then we do Alipay, because everyone says China is no credit system , banks are bad , logistics is very bad, why did you do e-commerce ? 介紹我的時候感覺我像個政府官員,其實我還是一個創業者。其實去年這個時候還有周其仁教授,很多的學者、專家、教授已經感覺到,只不過是我膽子比較大,把話說出來,而且說得難聽一點。
我走了一大圈,分析一下我自己對于目前經濟形勢的看法,也許我自己的思考未必對,但我也不需要得到大家的認同,只是希望大家回去思考一些想法。我最近在全世界各地聽了太多的災難要來了,每個人都很沮喪和失望。我覺得在7、8月份可以稱為是災難和危機,今天已經是發生了質的變化,今天不能稱為災難,如果今天稱為災難那是災難控制,你沒有辦法。而今天應該是重建體系,所以性質發生了劇烈的變化。
第二,如果你以前沒有擔心過,今天開始擔心,我已經覺得太晚了。你已經擔心了2、3個月,你就別擔心了。我覺得今天應該是采取行動,思考我們該做些什么事情的時候。我們也沒有必要去思考,這個災難2年以后會過去還是3年以后會回來。今天中午我在外面吃飯,餐廳的老板問我,你估計明年會回來嗎?我說明年下半年就可以,他說明年下半年就可以?我說明年下半年你適應了。優秀的企業家必須學會比別人提前適應這個環境,這個災難一定在2、3年打擊每一個人,誰先適應誰就有機會。做企業至少是5年和10年的考慮,2、3年的災難不算什么災難,假如你沒有思考過5年和10年,我覺得2、3年內的打擊,那是沒什么意義的。
另外一個,假如說我認為再有災難的話,即將到來的災難,是信心危機、信任危機。在舊的商業體系破壞,而新的商業體系沒有建成之間的空隙之中,我相信很多的問題會爆發出來。在救難的過程中、救危機的過程中,所有的人會團結在一起,在明年、后年的發展過程中,各個政府和企業家會想各種的辦法,但是矛盾又來了,問題又來了,所以做企業永遠不要失去信心。
所有的人都說危機,但是我覺得是機會,危機危機是危險中的機會。我的感受從香港日本跑下來以后,我覺得第一,這次所謂的危機是人類社會進入商業社會全球化的陣痛,人類社會要進入商業社會走全球化,你必須面臨這樣的挑戰。以前的全球化我認為是美國化,美國把自己的價值觀、金融觀,把自己的一切通過所有的手段傳給了全世界,而由于信息時代,互聯網讓人們理解到,這樣的價值觀、這樣的機制、這樣的體系已經不能存在。
美國的經濟學家說,美國的文化是不太好,我們太會消費,你們中國也要承擔很大的責任,你們不會消費。我說你們太胡說八道,比如說世界生產了10瓶酒,你們喝掉了8瓶,你自己喝醉了,把別人的也喝掉了,你會說是因為別人不會喝酒所以你醉了。或者說因為你會喝酒,所以你醉了。如果說這個用錢來解決,我認為這不是一個辦法,這是全球化的陣痛,而且我們必須面對這樣的陣痛。第三個,我認為這是原來勞動密集型向知識經濟過渡的機會。假如沒有這樣的向知識經濟轉型,就沒有我馬云站在這里。我相信未來,由于知識經濟過渡的機會,會有更多的企業家站在這里跟大家溝通。
還有,人類的商業文明不會停止,10年以后會有更多的富翁和更多的成功企業,還會站在這里跟大家溝通。
昨天的已經過去,我們今天很多在悲哀的人,事實上我覺得悲哀的都是既得利益者,假如沒有這場變革,怎么會有中小企業,假如沒有變革,我們這些所有壟斷的企業,怎么有利益在?所以說不破不立。
我聽過很多的銀行講,我們給中小型企業貸款,我聽了5年了,但是有多少的銀行真正腳踏實地的在做呢?很少。如果銀行不改變,我們改變銀行,我堅信一點,3年以后今天的談論中小企業的貸款銀行,像馬行長講的,3年以后,這個國家、這個世界將會有更加完善的貸款體系給中小企業。以前只能聽“今后可能會變成現實”,我相信這個建設的機制會更加好。
假如你認為這是一個災難,災難已經來臨,假如你認為是一個機遇,那么機遇即將成型。去年我跟大家講,災難可能會來,現在我告訴大家,機會的形成已經開始,大家開始進行準備吧,我們讓經濟學家去分析,為什么、還有多久,我們畢竟不是預測家。因為我堅信,在順境的時代會誕生偉大的企業,但是順境的時代也有垃圾企業。在逆勢的時代也有偉大的企業,而且像日本的索尼公司就是在非常低迷的時期誕生了偉大的企業,所以對于企業家來講,我們今天在這里呼吁的是企業家的精神。這個世界缺失的不是錢,商業社會缺失的是企業家的精神、企業家的夢想、企業家的價值觀,是價值觀的缺失,是夢想的缺失。為什么我們去年判斷,我并不是從經濟數據上判斷經濟出問題,我前幾年聽到最多在臺上講的人都是銀行家,都是講PE、IPO,都是講市盈率多少倍,所有人不講為客戶創造價值,為社會創造價值,很少人講理想、夢想、關心自己的員工,這個災難一定到來。
所以,今天我們不能等待政府,不能等待政治家。今天在呼喚政治家的時候,我希望我們能呼喚企業家的夢想、理想、價值觀。呼喚起企業家的精神,共同參與應對人類最大的災難。
我自己的,假如2002年我沒有和阿里巴巴 公司一起度過那次的互聯網泡沫的危機,那次我的口號是“成為最后一個倒下的人”。即使跪著,我也得最后倒下。而且,我那時候堅信一點,我困難有人比我更困難,我難過對手比我更難過,誰能熬得住誰就贏。放棄是最大的失敗,假如你關掉你的工廠,關掉你的企業,你永遠沒有再回來的機會。

所以,我覺得我們應該感到榮幸、驕傲,因為我們還年輕。我跟我的同事講,我今年40多歲,他們20多歲,在他們20多歲的時候我們經歷了這次災難,而這次災難給了我們無數的機會。我相信優秀的企業在順境中可以發展,但是在逆境中還可以照樣發展是最好的。
所以,我堅信一點,10年以后社會將進入新的時代,商業社會將進入新的商業文明的階段,我們將更加統一、更加和諧、更加開明、更加開放,市場將會更加繁榮。所有人做10年以后的夢想,做3年以后的規劃。所以,我自己在公司里面已經做了規劃。

最近我發現很多阿里人非常郁悶和難過,大批網絡報道指責淘寶網調整搜索結果,甚至還惹起了某些賣家來淘寶網門口抗議示威…看到那么多同事很委屈,甚至流下了眼淚,也發現不少年輕的淘寶人在不斷自問:”我們到底做錯了什么,為了鼓勵大家在淘寶上創業,堅持七年不向會員強制收取開店費和交易費,堅持扶持發展創業者和中小賣家,七年多的日日夜夜奮斗,結果換回來的是各種各樣的指責,我們值得這樣嗎?我們選擇的路對嗎?我們是否應該放棄自己促進新商業文明的使命而回到僅僅是一家普普通通的賺錢公司……”
幾天前,有朋友問我今生最相信什么,我說:”我相信相信!”。
本來應該早點和大家做一個交流,談談我的看法,但最近一系列的問題…呵呵,我覺得阿里人必須有這么一個經歷,阿里人需要有時間接受各種各樣的挑戰,”男人的胸懷是由冤枉撐大的”,我覺得阿里人需要有在紛亂的外部環境中學會用自己的腦袋思考問題和判斷問題的能力。選擇今天和大家交流是因為快到阿里十一周年慶了,到了我們重溫去年這時候提出的:阿里巴巴要促進開放、透明、分享、責任的新商業文明,為全世界一千萬家中小企業提供一個生存和發展的平臺,為全世界解決一個億的就業機會,為全球十億人提供一個消費的平臺……的時候。
從提出這么一個偉大的使命和目標起,我就覺得我們從此以后會走上一條艱難的發展之路,我們會碰見各種不同類型的阻力和困難。今天的麻煩還僅僅是個開頭,我們會碰上越來越多的挫折…堅持做正確的事,堅持自己的理想和使命是一定要付出巨大代價的,在任何時代都一樣。尤其在今天的中國的商業環境里,促進開放,透明,分享,責任的商業文明一定會破壞大批既得利益群體,我們要抗爭的不僅僅是這些既得利益群體還有是上世紀的商業習慣..前段時間,淘寶人作出基于捍衛消費者用戶的利益,同時支持提供優質服務和誠信賣家的搜索調整決策,我認為是正確的!我深以為豪的是我們的同事能放棄自己今天的利益而去追求創建更加有利于用戶可持續健康發展的公平方法!!但遺憾的是大家的好意被曲解,支持誠信賣家被說成是放棄中小賣家,保護消費者利益的措施被指責成獲取自己的商業利益.:(因為我們畢竟不是生活在真空的世界里, 互聯網是一個大世界,淘寶網也是個大社會……我們也同樣在電子商務的世界里面對欺詐,假貨橫行等一切社會現象。今天的社會上出現了很大的消極,浮燥的情緒,很多人懷疑一切,打擊一切,否定一切,總把自己對世界的片面認識強加給別人,……還有不少媒體過度的使用”懲惡”的手端,而不是” 扶正祛邪”,使得人們不相信還有人會做好事,還會有人會為理想和原則而工作....堅持還是放棄? 放棄,從此以后我們就會成為一家平庸的公司,因為利益而活著,我們可能會在一段時間里會很輕松,會很賺錢…而堅持理想,我們也許會每天碰上今天的狀況,我們要和各種勢力做斗爭,包括巨大的黑色產業鏈中的惡勢力。但堅持也會讓我們生存和工作的有意義,堅持也會讓我們能在21世
