加州“救了”奧巴馬

當(dāng)?shù)貢r間6日晚，芝加哥飄起蒙蒙細雨，一向冷清的麥考密克會展中心卻聚集了上萬人。大家在等待奧巴馬到來，發(fā)表獲勝演說。這里，是民主黨大選之夜的慶祝舉辦地。奧巴馬的勝利之夜，簡陋的場館成了人的海洋。

老婦疲勞栽倒

6日整整一天，奧巴馬都在“大本營”芝加哥度過，有人說他呆在自己家中，靜靜等待結(jié)果；有人說他在打籃球。一天前，奧巴馬在艾奧瓦州結(jié)束了最后的競選活動，激動得泣不成聲。

“我的男孩，奧巴馬，他一定能贏。”黑人選民賽繆·阿德狄亞姆對記者說，“羅姆尼領(lǐng)先，那都是謊言，他們不愿意看到一位黑人總統(tǒng)。”

“奧巴馬為中產(chǎn)階級和工人著想，而不是為了富人著想。他一定能贏。”亞裔選民艾麗卡激動地說。

“今晚感覺非常好”、“再來4年”、“一定能贏”的聲音在支持者們進場的時候此起彼伏。入場通道兩旁，一側(cè)是媒體記者的長槍短炮，閃光燈不住閃爍，待遇有點像走奧斯卡紅毯的感覺；另一側(cè)是大批沒有座位的支持者，一直站在那里幾個小時。有一名老婦人因為體力不支而栽倒，不過她被人們扶起來后，并沒有離去。

加州成轉(zhuǎn)折點

大廳內(nèi)放著好幾個大屏幕，上面不停播放奧巴馬和拜登的宣傳片。從6日晚8點多開始，大屏幕便不斷插播計票結(jié)束州的結(jié)果。

開始時，只要播放奧巴馬獲勝的州，人群就爆發(fā)出歡呼聲。但到9點多，當(dāng)奧巴馬的得票一度落后，羅姆尼似乎遙遙領(lǐng)先時，一位媒體記者不禁驚叫：“我的天啊。”

在播放羅姆尼獲勝州票數(shù)的時候，全場似乎都安靜了。轉(zhuǎn)到奧巴馬的時候，歡呼也不再如開始那么熱烈。

轉(zhuǎn)折出現(xiàn)在加州！主持人宣布：“奧巴馬贏得加州！”55張選舉人票收入囊中，總比分立即超出。

支持者喜極而泣

隨后的勝利越來越多——10點多，奧巴馬贏得艾奧瓦州、新墨西哥州??人們越來越興奮，互相擁抱歡呼。坐在座位上的支持者紛紛站了起來，大聲歡呼。

勝利來得令人猝不及防。幾分鐘后，大屏幕突然顯示：突發(fā)新聞，奧巴馬獲得273票！很多人愣了一下子，然后都說“贏了，奧巴馬贏了”。

人群沸騰了，記者開始滿場奔跑，支持者互相擁抱，喜極而泣，人們紛紛喊著“奧巴馬，奧巴馬”，隨著樂曲跳起舞蹈??

敗選演講羅姆尼稱心系美國

6日晚，羅姆尼在波士頓對支持者發(fā)表了簡短的敗選演說。這位第二次競選總統(tǒng)失敗的億萬富翁說，他之所以參加競選，是出于對國家的關(guān)切。

“我剛剛打電話給奧巴馬總統(tǒng)，祝賀他的勝利。”羅姆尼開頭便說，“他的支持者和他的競選陣營都值得這一祝賀。”

接下來，羅姆尼的演講充滿了感謝言辭，他逐一向他的搭檔——副總統(tǒng)候選人瑞恩，妻子安，為他拉票的兒子們，競選團隊的領(lǐng)頭人，以及遍及全國的志愿者、籌款人、捐款者表示感謝。

“在過去數(shù)年的時間里，你們所做的努力是無與倫比的，真的謝謝你們！”羅姆尼說。

表達完謝意后，羅姆尼將話題轉(zhuǎn)到美國現(xiàn)狀。他說，美國正處在一個關(guān)鍵的時刻，“我們不能將時間花費到黨派之爭和政治作秀上，我們的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人必須克服困難，為民眾服務(wù)。而我們公民們，也應(yīng)該參與進來。”

羅姆尼說，他之所以參加競選，是出于對國家的關(guān)切。他“提醒”奧巴馬，不應(yīng)忘記美國立國原則，“我深信，這個國家賴以立國的基本理念，才是我們恢復(fù)經(jīng)濟，復(fù)興國家的唯一指導(dǎo)”。

羅姆尼最后說，他和自己的支持者，都會為奧巴馬祈禱，盡管他與后者領(lǐng)導(dǎo)這個國家的理念不同。

while each of us will pursue our own individual dreams, we are an American family and we rise or fall together as one nation and as one people.Tonight, in this election, you, the American people, reminded us that while our road has been hard, while our journey has been long, we have picked ourselves up, we have fought our way back, and we know in our hearts that for the United States of
