I’m so honored.I never expect there are so many people coming here to listen to my talk.And when I sitting there I feel so important.Thank you, thank you very much.Before my talk I would like to ask how many people here have used Alibaba services.Good, not many.[Laughs].And how many of you here have never been to China? Never been, never been to China.Good, thank you very much.Well, 20 years ago I came to America.My first trip to America, to Seattle.Before that I learned so much about America, from my books, from my teachers, from my school, and my parents.And I think I know enough about America.But when I came to America I thought totally wrong.America is not what I learned from the books.And in Seattle I found the Internet, and then I came back and tell my friends that I’m going to open a company called Internet.I invited 24 of my friends, had a two-hour discussion.And finally [unintelligible 00:01:19] we had a vote.23 of them against me.“Forget about it.There’s no such kind of network called Internet.Don’t do it.” There’s only one person who said “Jack, I trust you.I don’t know what that is, but if you want to try it, go ahead, try it.Because you’re still young.” At that time I was 30 years old.So I started my business, without knowing anything about computer, without knowing anything about business.I started my first company, my wife and I and a school mate.We borrowed [start] from US $1,000 we start the business.It was so difficult.I called myself like a blind man riding on the back of blind tigers.Jumping around for the past 20 years I survive today.For the first three years life was really bad.I remember I tried to borrow US $3,000 from the banks.It took me three months asking any friends I know to borrow the money [unintelligible 00:02:22].Still failed, coz verybody said “Jack is telling a lie, because there’s no such network called Internet in 1996.”
So one day, later 1996, China was connected to the Internet.I invited ten media friends to my apartment.I want to tell them I’m not telling a lie.There is a network called Internet.We waited three hours and a half to see the first – to download the first picture.And people said “Is that thing going to work?” And I say “Yeah, it’ll work, but not today.In ten years it’ll work.” But at least it proved that I was not telling a lie.I remember when we tried to help our small business to sell online.Nobody want to sell because nobody come to buy.So first week we have seven employees, we buy and sell ourselves.The second week somebody start to sell on a website.We buy everything they sell.We have two rooms full of things we bought for New Year’s, [all garbage] for the first two weeks.In order to tell people that it works.It was not easy.Since 1995 to 1999 we failed.We go nowhere, our business, because nothing was ready.In 1999 I invited 18 friends of mine who came to my apartment.We decided to do it again.We call the name alibaba.com.And people say why Alibaba? We believe Internet is a treasure island which opens sesame for small business.And we used Alibaba because it’s easy to spell, easy to remember.And we want to focus on helping small business.Because at that time we see [unintelligible 00:04:26] commerce [with the] American e-commerce they focus on helping on big companies, they’re focusing on helping big companies to save the cost.We believed China we don’t have a lot of big companies, we have so many small business, and small business it’s so difficult for them to survive.If we can using Internet as a technology to help small business it’ll be fantastic.So we start to say if America is good at helping big companies, just like America is good at making basketball we should play pingpong in China, we should help the small guys.And we should not helping small guys to save cost, because small business know how to save the cost, but small business should learn how to make money.So our business is focusing helping small business to make money online.And we want to make the company last for 102 years.And people are curious – why 102 years? Because Alibaba was born in 1999, last year we had – last century we had one year, this century 100 years, next century one year.102 across three centuries.We give a clear goal to any employees.Don’t say we are successful, no matter how much money we raised, no matter how much money we make, no matter how much we have achieved.Don’t forget we want to live 102 years.Now, 16 years passed, we have another 86 years to go.Because in next 86 years, if any time we die we’re never successful.When I heard this club is 108 years old I was surprised and shocked.There’s so much we can learn from that.Well, today nobody believed that Alibaba could survive, because people say “You are [free], you’re tiny” and, you know, and especially when we talk about – when we IPO’d people say “Ah, you are Alibaba, you are e-commerce.You’re like Amazon.” Because in American point of view Amazon probably is the only business model for e-commerce.But no, we are different.The difference between us and Amazon is that we do not buy and sell, but we help small business to buy and sell.We have 10 million small business on our site buy and sell every day.And we do not deliver our packages, although – ourselves, though we have more than 2 million people help us to deliver over 30 million packages per day.We do not own warehouses, but we manage tens and thousands of warehouses for other small, medium sized delivery companies.And we do not own inventories, but we do have more than 350 million buyers.We have more than 120 million buyers coming to shop every day on our site.And also, we sell – our revenue last – our sales last year were US$ 390 billion.And this year, possibly, we are going to be bigger than Walmart globally.And Walmart manage – that size of business have more than 2.3 million people;we grow from 18 people to today 34,000 people.And the difference between Amazon and us the other is Amazon is a shopping center.Because here e-commerce is commerce, in China e-commerce is a lifestyle.Young people [unintelligible 00:08:08], they using e-commerce to exchange ideas, they communicate, they build up the trust, they build up a record.It’s just like Starbucks – you never go to Starbucks to test how wonderful coffee is.It’s a lifestyle.And this is how Internet e-commerce is changing China.And what we felt proud of is not how much things we sell.I said this year we’ll be bigger than Walmart – yes, we are proud.We know in five years we will sell US$ 1 trillion.This is my goal, which we think possibly we will make it.We are proud of that but we are more proud because we create direct [and indirect] job, 14 million jobs for China.And we’ve created jobs in the countryside.We created a lot of jobs for women.Over 51 percent of the power sellers on the Internet are women.So we feel so proud of that.And people say okay, now Alibaba did that.What's your next? What's your future cause you are everywhere.We, 80 percent of the buy and the sell online are created by our company.Our future is that we have to focus on globalizing our business.It's not only sell more things.We want to make, to globalize the infrastructure of eCommerce.Why Internet eCommerce grow so fast in China than in the USA? Because the infrastructure of commerce in China was too bad.Not like here.You have [Click] Motors.You have all the shops offline, Walmart, Kmart, everything everywhere.But in China we have nothing nowhere.So eCommerce in the US is a dessert.It's complementary to the main business.But in China it becomes the main course.We created the infrastructure.So we think if we globalize our infrastructure — the payment, the logistics center, the transparent platform all around the world.Helping the small business around the world to sell everywhere.Help the global consumers to buy everywhere.Our vision is in ten years we will help two billion consumers in the world to shop online anywhere in the world.You're shopping online with 72 hours you'll receive the product.And anywhere in China you shop online, you will receive the products within 24 hours.And we think our globalization is still focused on helping small business.And helping them to do business in the most efficient ways.And we think that we will help another ten million business on our eCommerce platform.We will empower them.We'll give them the traffic.We'll give them the payment system.We'll give them the logistics system so they can do business anywhere easily and quickly.And we will help.We will have 40 percent of our business outside China.Today we only have two percent of our business outside China.So people keep on asking, now you are big.You raised that much money.What's your play in America? People say well are you going to come? When are you going to come to invade America? When I going to compete with Amazon? When I going to compete with eBay? Well I would say we show great respect for eBay and Amazon.But I think the opportunity and the, the strategy for us is helping small business in America go to China, sell their products to China.Today in China, the middle class for China is almost the same as the American population.And we think in ten years it will be more than half a billion Chinese people will be middle class.The demanding for middle class, the demanding for good products, good service was so powerful, so strong.And I think China today cannot afford the good products, good service to them.And then next is that China has been focused on exporting in the past 20 years.And I think next ten, ten-twenty years China we should be focusing on importing.Chinese should learn to buy.Chinese should spend the money.Chinese should buy a lot of things from globally.And I think that American small business, American branded products you should use the Internet, go to China.Past 20 years big companies of America is already all over China.But it's the great opportunity for using the eCommerce for small business to go to America.In the past years we have helped a lot of American farmers selling things to China.For example the Seattle cherries, you will never believe that the ambassador, the American ambassador to China, he came to us say, Jack can you help us to sell the cherries in Seattle.I say how can we sell cherries? The cherries still on the trees.And we started place order, 80,000 familie(轉載自管理資料下載網 http://www.tmdps.cn,請保留此標記。)s booked the order.And when we got the order we ship, we pick up the cherries and ship to China within 24 hours 80,000 families, 160 tons of cherries were sold.And last year we sold over 300 tons of cherries.And I don't know what's this year about.We also helped Alaska seafood.We helped Canada to sell the lobsters.The lobster we sold probably ten years they cannot sell.And we also have a lot of American branded companies using our site to sell.Costco the company, they sold 600 tons of nuts on our site for the first month.And for the first month they're using Alibaba 6.5 million US dollars.So I think if we can help to sell lobsters, if we can help sell the cherries, why we cannot help these small, medium size companies to China using our system? So this is what I want, and also I want to take one day for example November, November 11th, the [Singles'] Day.We make that a shopping day.Last year for that day we sold 9.7 billion US dollars.And for the first minute shopping we have 24 million people rushed in for the first minute.And this year we guess the number was scary, so my purpose coming here that we need more American products to China.We have a hungry 100 million people coming to buy every day.So this is why we come here.We not come here to compete.We come here to bring the small business.My vision is that in ten, twenty years anywhere you buy anywhere, sell anywhere.Philippine people can buy salmon on Norway.Norway people can sell things to Argentina.Argentina can buy and sell to China.This is how the Internet is going to change.And lastly I want to say we have changed the China.We feel proud of that, and we think that the change, the power of change is so powerful.The first revolution of technology we have the, the organization of business called a factory.And had our first World War because of the strength of the arms and muscles.The second revolution energy, we have the organization called companies, and have the second World War.This time Internet.The data, and I think we have a new business called platform.And the third World War is going to happen.And this war is not between nations, this war we work together against the disease, the poverty, the climate change.And I believe this is our future.The human being, the nations shall unite together.Rely on the young people using not the guns, using computers, using the data to solve the human problem, solve the society problems.And this is what I'm passionate about.It's not about the money, it's about dreams.It's not only the technology change the world, it's the dreams you believe that change the world.And we know the way, the way is not easy.As I was told in the past 20 years doing Internet business in China, today is difficult, and tomorrow is much more difficult.But the day after tomorrow is beautiful.Most people die tomorrow evening, if you don't work hard.Thank you very much.馬云2015紐約經濟學會演講中文
非常榮幸,從來沒想到會有這多人來聽我的演講。
我站在這里的時候,感覺自己如此重要,如此責任重大。謝謝你們!
正式開始演講之前,我想請問一下在座有多少人在使用阿里巴巴的服務?好的,不是非常多。那么,你們當中有多少人從來沒有去過中國?好的。
20年前,我第一次踏上美國,美國之旅的第一站是西雅圖。來到美國之前,我從課本、老師、學校和父母那里了解美國,我以為自己已經非常了解美國。但是,當 我踏上這片土地的時候,我才發現我完全錯了,美國這個社會和我從課本學到的根本不一樣。在西雅圖,我平生第一次認識了互聯網。
回到中國之后,我告訴朋友們,我打算開一家互聯網公司。我邀請了24位好友,討論了兩個小時。到了最后,還是沒有人理解我想要做的東西,我們進行了投 票,23人選擇反對。我的朋友們勸我說:“忘了它吧!根本就不存在這么一個叫做互聯網的東西,千萬不要去嘗試?!敝挥幸粋€人對我說:“馬云,我相信你,雖 然我不知道你想要做什么,如果你想做,就大膽去做吧,因為你還年輕?!蹦悄?,我30歲。
沒有任何的計算機知識、商業知識,我開始了創業之路。我開辦了第一家公司,和我的妻子,還有一位同學。我們東拼西湊了1000美元,創業之路非常艱難。當 時,我覺得自己是騎在盲虎背上的盲人(成語:盲人摸象,又騎虎難下)。20年風雨過去,我存活了下來。但是創業前三年,生活真的非常糟糕。我清楚地記得,我想向銀行貸款3000美元,這花去了我整整三個月時間,我動用了所有的關系,還是沒拿到貸款。每個人都認為馬云在撒謊,因為1996的時候他們不相信有 互聯網這個東西的存在。
有一天,1996下半年,中國正式接入了互聯網。于是,我邀請了10位媒體朋友到我家里來,想告訴他們我沒有撒謊,確實存在互聯網這個東西。為了下載一張 照片,我們當時花了三個半小時。大家說,“那東西真的能行得通嗎?”我說,“是的,行得通的,不是現在,是在未來十年之內?!辈还茉鯓?,這至少證明了我沒 有撒謊。
我還記得,當我們嘗試幫助小公司在網絡上銷售產品,但是沒有人愿意來,因為還沒有人在網絡上買東西。所以在第一周,我們的7個員工自己去買,自己去賣。到 了第二周,有人開始在我們的平臺上賣東西,我們買光了他出售的所有商品。我們有兩個房間,堆滿了我們那兩個星期買的東西,而且是沒有什么用的東西。這只是 為了告訴大家互聯網是行得通的,但這并不容易。1995年到1999年這期間,我們的創業失敗看,沒有一樣條件是成熟的。
到了1999年,我邀請18個好友到家里,我們決定再一次嘗試,并且把網站命名為alibaba.com。人們問為什么叫阿里巴巴?我們希望互聯網就如同一個寶庫,可以讓小企業芝麻開門。另外,這個名字容易拼寫,也朗朗上口。我們想做的事情,是幫助小企業。
當時我們注意到美國的電子商務致力于幫助大公司,幫助他們節約成本,而當時中國沒有那么多的大公司,而是有很多的小企業,對于他們來說生存是如此艱難,假如我們能夠用互聯網技術來幫助這些小公司,這會非常有意思。
美國習慣于幫助大型企業,這就好比美國人擅長于打籃球;而在中國,我們應該會去打乒乓球,去幫助那些小公司。我們需要做的不是幫助小公司去節約成本,因為他們知道如何節約成本,他們需要學習的是如何賺錢。因此,我們的業務一直專注于幫助小企業在網絡上賺錢。
我們希望阿里巴巴這個公司可以活102年。人們會好奇地問,為什么是102年?因為阿里巴巴誕生于1999年,上個世紀我們經歷了1年,這個世紀將是完整 的100年,下一個世紀再經歷1年,這樣橫跨三個世紀,102年。我們這是給了所有員工一個清晰的目標。無論我們有多少盈利,無論我們賺了多少錢,不論我 們已經取得什么成績,都不要認為我們已經成功。不要忘記我們希望活102年,現在才過了16年而已,前面還有86年。這86年中的任何一個時間,如果公司 倒閉了,我們就談不上成功。當我聽到這個俱樂部(紐約經濟俱樂部)已經有108年的歷史,我十分驚訝,十分震驚。這其中一定有很多值得阿里巴巴學習的東 西。
沒有人相信阿里巴巴可以活下去。以前人們說:“你們的平臺是免費的,你們的公司那么小?!庇绕涫俏覀冊诿绹鲜械臅r候,人們又說:“你們阿里巴巴是做電子商務的,就像亞馬遜一樣?!笨赡軄嗰R遜是美國人眼中唯一的電子商務模式,但是我們不一樣。
我們和亞馬遜不一樣的是,我們自己不做買賣,我們幫助中小企業做買賣。在阿里巴巴的平臺上,有一千萬家小企業每天做交易。我們自己不送快遞,但每天有二百 萬人幫著我們配送三千萬包裹。我們也沒有自己的倉庫,但是我們幫助那些中小物流快遞公司管理成千上萬個物流倉庫。我們也沒有任何商品庫存,但是我們有3億 5千萬的買家,每天有超過1億2千萬的消費者光顧我們的網站。去年我們的銷售額是3900億美元。今年,我們預計銷售成交會超過沃爾瑪全球,你要知道沃爾 瑪用了230萬員工,而我們只是從18人擴大到了3.4萬人。
我們和亞馬遜不一樣的還有,亞馬遜是一個購物中心,你去逛亞馬遜,去買你想要買的東西。而在阿里巴巴,人們常常能夠感受到購物之外的驚喜,這也是他們喜歡 的體驗。在美國,電子商務是商務,而在中國,電子商務是人們的一種生活方式。年輕人交換他們的思想,互相溝通,建立信任,建立個人信用記錄。就好像星巴克 一樣,你不是去星巴克品嘗它的咖啡有多么美味。這是一種生活方式。這也正是互聯網電商如何改變中國的地方。
我們感到自豪的,并不是我們賣了多少東西。我前面提到,今年我們的成交總額會超過沃爾瑪——是的,我們對此很自豪。阿里巴巴會在未來五年,達到1萬億美元 的成交額。這是我(轉載自管理資料下載網 http://www.tmdps.cn,請保留此標記。)的目標,我認為我們會達到這個目標。更讓我們自豪的是,我們為中國直接和間接地提供了1400萬個就業機會。我們在中國鄉村創造就業機 會,我們為中國女性提供就業機會。中國互聯網上成功的賣家中,超過51%是女性。

電子商務在美國如同餐后甜點,它是對主流商業的補充。但是在中國,電子商務已經成為主菜。我們建設了電子商務的基礎設施。所以,如果我們將我們的電子商務 基礎設施全球化,包括在全球范圍內提供支付工具、物流中心和透明公開的交易平臺,幫助全球的小公司將他們的產品賣到世界各個角落,幫助全球的消費順利地買 到世界各地的產品。我們的愿景是,未來十年內幫助全球20億消費者在線購買全世界的產品,而且做到全球范圍內72小時內收到商品,在中國范圍內,無論你身 在何處,24小時內收到商品。阿里巴巴的全球化戰略,仍然是致力于幫助小企業,幫助他們以最有效的方式來做生意。我們會在自己的電商平臺上,幫助到另外一 千萬家小企業。
我們會給這些小企業賦能。我們會引導更多流量給他們,會給提供他們支付系統,提供物流配送系統,讓他們更加快捷和便利地在全球任何角落開展業務。我們希望在中國以外的地方擁有40%的業務量?,F在,我們的海外業務只占到2%。
可能人們繼續會問,現在阿里巴巴的業務做大了,也募集到大量資金。你們會在美國做什么?你們會來美國嗎?如果來美國,你們是打算入侵美國嗎?馬云你什么時 候來和亞馬遜競爭?什么時候來和eBay競爭?其實,我對eBay和亞馬遜抱有敬仰之心。而我來這里的目的,也就是阿里巴巴的下一步戰略,是幫助美國的小 企業走進中國,幫助他們將產品賣到中國。
現在的中國,中產階層的數量和美國人口大致相當。而我們認為,未來十年中國將有五億人口成為中產階層。他們對優質產品和優質服務的需求是非常強大,非常驚 人的。今天的中國,空氣質量糟糕,水污染嚴重,土地資源有限,我認為中國的現狀沒有辦法滿足他們對于優質產品和優質服務的需求。過去20年,中國一直致力 于出口,而我認為接下來10年-20年,中國應該把注意力集中在進口方面。中國要學會進口,學會如何消費。中國應該去消費,去做全球買手。同時,我認為美 國的小企業,美國的品牌產品,也應該利用互聯網,進入中國市場。
過去20年,美國的大公司已經遍布整個中國。對于美國的小公司來說,利用好電子商務,將是巨大的機會。阿里巴巴已經幫助很多美國的農民將產品賣到中國。西 雅圖的車厘子就是一個例子。你不能想象,美國駐華大使跑來問我:“馬云,你們可以幫我們銷售西雅圖的車厘子嗎?”那時車厘子還長在樹上,我們就做了預 售,8萬個中國家庭搶購了這些訂單,我們摘下車厘子,在24小時內運到中國。24小時內,8萬個中國家庭就將160噸車厘子一搶而空。去年,我們賣掉了 300噸車厘子。我不知道今年又會是怎樣一個驚喜的數字。
我們同樣也幫助銷售阿拉斯加的海鮮。我們還幫助銷售加拿大的龍蝦,所賣出的龍蝦數量,是他們10年內都不可能達到的。許多美國的知名品牌也借助我們的平臺 銷售。像Costco超市入駐以后第一個月就賣出了600噸堅果,銷售額達到650萬美元。既然我們能夠幫助賣龍蝦,賣車厘子,為什么不可以利用我們的系 統來幫助大量的美國中小企業?我還想借用一天的數據來舉一個例子,11月11日,中國的光棍節,阿里巴巴把它變成了一個購物節。去年雙十一,我們的交易額 高達97億美元,第一分鐘有240萬消費者涌入。今年,我們認為這個數字會更加驚人,所以這也是我此次來美國的目的——中國消費者需要更多的美國產品。
每天,阿里巴巴平臺都有上億“饑渴”的消費者來購物。這就是我們來到這里的原因,我們不是來競爭的,我們來這里是希望將美國的中小企業帶到中國。我們的愿 景是“全球買、全球賣”,未來10年-20年,無論你身在何處都可以買到任何地方的產品,也把可以自己的產品賣到世界各地。菲律賓人可以買到挪威的鮭魚,挪威人可以將產品賣到阿根廷,阿根廷人可以買中國的產品,也可以將產品賣到中國。這是互聯網未來變革的方向。最后,阿里巴巴為已經改變中國而感到驕傲。變 革的力量是強大的。
第一次技術革命以后,世界有了新的商業組織形式——工廠,這些工廠帶來了武器和力量,然后催生了第一次世界大戰。第二次能源革命以后,世界又有了新的商業組織形式——公司,然后催生了二戰。
在這個互聯網時代,DT時代(DataTechnology,數據時代),我認為誕生了一個新的商業形式——平臺,“第三次世界大戰”也隨之即將打響—— 但這不是一場國與國之間的戰爭,這是一場我們攜手對抗疾病、貧窮和氣候變化的戰爭。我認為這是人類的未來。所有的人類,所有的國家,都應該聯合起來。依靠 年輕一代,而不是武器;依靠計算機和大數據,來解決人類的問題,社會的問題。這是我所熱衷的,和錢無關,這是夢想。改變世界的不僅是技術,更是你相信可以 改變世界的夢想。我們知道這條路漫長且不易。我以前說過,過去20年在中國做互聯網生意很不容易,今天很困難,明天更困難,后天很美好。但是絕大多數人死 在了明天晚上,如果你不努力的話。

Well, 20 years ago I came to America.My first trip to America, to Seattle.Before that I learned so much about America, from my books, from my teachers, from my school, and my parents.And I think I know enough about America.But when I came to America I thought totally wrong.America is not what I learned from the books.And in Seattle I found the Internet, and then I came back and tell my friends that I’m going to open a company called Internet.I invited 24 of my friends, had a two-hour discussion.And finally [unintelligible 00:01:19] we had a vote.23 of them against me.“Forget about it.There’s no such kind of network called Internet.Don’t do it.” There’s only one person who said “Jack, I trust you.I don’t know what that is, but if you want to try it, go ahead, try it.Because you’re still young.” At that time I was 30 years old.20年前,我第一次踏上美國,美國之旅的第一站是西雅圖。來到美國之前,我從課本、老師、學校和父母那里了解美國,我以為自己已經非常了解美國。但是,當 我踏上這片土地的時候,我才發現我完全錯了,美國這個社會和我從課本學到的根本不一樣。在西雅圖,我平生第一次認識了互聯網?;氐街袊?,我告訴朋友們,我打算開一家互聯網公司。我邀請了24位好友,討論了兩個小時。到了最后,還是沒有人理解我想要做的東西,我們進行了投 票,23人選擇反對。我的朋友們勸我說:“忘了它吧!根本就不存在這么一個叫做互聯網的東西,千萬不要去嘗試?!敝挥幸粋€人對我說:“馬云,我相信你,雖 然我不知道你想要做什么,如果你想做,就大膽去做吧,因為你還年輕?!蹦悄辏?0歲。
So I started my business, without knowing anything about computer, without knowing anything about business.I started my first company, my wife and I and a school mate.We borrowed [start] from U S $1,000 we start the business.It was so difficult.I called myself like a blind man riding on the back of blind tigers.Jumping around for the past 20 years I survive today.For the first three years life was really bad.I remember I tried to borrow US $3,000 from the banks.It took me three months asking any friends I know to borrow the money [unintelligible 00:02:22].Still failed, coz verybody said “Jack is telling a lie, because there’s no such network called Internet in 1996.” 沒有任何的計算機知識、商業知識,我開始了創業之路。我開辦了第一家公司,和我的妻子,還有一位同學。我們東拼西湊了1000美元,創業之路非常艱難。當 時,我覺得自己是騎在盲虎背上的盲人(成語:盲人摸象,又騎虎難下)。20年風雨過去,我存活了下來。但是創業前三年,生活真的非常糟糕。我清楚地記得,我想向銀行貸款3000美元,這花去了我整整三個月時間,我動用了所有的關系,還是沒拿到貸款。每個人都認為馬云在撒謊,因為1996的時候他們不相信有 互聯網這個東西的存在。
So one day, later 1996, China was connected to the Internet.I invited ten media friends to my apartment.I want to tell them I’m not telling a lie.There is a network called Internet.We waited three hours and a half to see the first – to download the first picture.And people said “Is that thing going to work?” And I say “Yeah, it’ll work, but not today.In ten years it’ll work.” But at least it proved that I was not telling a lie.一天,1996下半年,中國正式接入了互聯網。于是,我邀請了10位媒體朋友到我家里來,想告訴他們我沒有撒謊,確實存在互聯網這個東西。為了下載一張 照片,我們當時花了三個半小時。大家說,“那東西真的能行得通嗎?”我說,“是的,行得通的,不是現在,是在未來十年之內?!辈还茉鯓?,這至少證明了我沒 有撒謊。
I remember when we tried to help our small business to sell online.Nobody want to sell because nobody come to buy.So first week we have seven employees, we buy and sell ourselves.The second week somebody start to sell on a website.We buy everything they sell.We have two rooms full of things we bought for New Year’s, [all garbage] for the first two weeks.In order to tell people that it works.It was not easy.Since 1995 to 1999 we failed.We go nowhere, our business, because nothing was ready.In 1999 I invited 18 friends of mine who came to my apartment.We decided to do it again.We call the name alibaba.com.And people say why Alibaba? Because at that time we see [unintelligible 00:04:26] commerce [with the] American e-commerce they focus on helping on big companies, they’re focusing on helping big companies to save the cost.We believed China we don’t have a lot of big companies, we have so many small business, and small business it’s so difficult for them to survive.If we can using Internet as a technology to help small business it’ll be fantastic.So we start to say if America is good at helping big companies, just like America is good at making basketball we should play pingpong in China, we should help the small guys.And we should not helping small guys to save cost, because small business know how to save the cost, but small business should learn how to make money.So our business is focusing helping small business to make money online.And we want to make the company last for 102 years.And people are curious – why 102 years? Because Alibaba was born in 1999, last year we had – last century we had one year, this century 100 years, next century one year.102 across three centuries.We give a clear goal to any employees.Don’t say we are successful, no matter how much money we raised, no matter how much money we make, no matter how much we have achieved.Don’t forget we want to live 102 years.Now, 16 years passed, we have another 86 years to go.Because in next 86 years, if any time we die we’re never successful.When I heard this club is 108 years old I was surprised and shocked.There’s so much we can learn from that.Well, today nobody believed that Alibaba could survive, because people say “You are [free], you’re tiny” and, you know, and especially when we talk about – when we IPO’d people say “Ah, you are Alibaba, you are e-commerce.You’re like Amazon.” Because in American point of view Amazon probably is the only business model for e-commerce.But no, we are different.The difference between us and Amazon is that we do not buy and sell, but we help small business to buy and sell.We have 10 million small business on our site buy and sell every day.And we do not deliver our packages, although – ourselves, though we have more than 2 million people help us to deliver over 30 million packages per day.We do not own warehouses, but we manage tens and thousands of warehouses for other small, medium sized delivery companies.And we do not own inventories, but we do have more than 350 million buyers.We have more than 120 million buyers coming to shop every day on our site.And also, we sell – our revenue last – our sales last year were US$ 390 billion.And this year, possibly, we are going to be bigger than Walmart globally.And Walmart manage – that size of business have more than 2.3 million people;we grow from 18 people to today 34,000 people.And the difference between Amazon and us the other is Amazon is a shopping center.Because here e-commerce is commerce, in China e-commerce is a lifestyle.Young people [unintelligible 00:08:08], they using e-commerce to exchange ideas, they communicate, they build up the trust, they build up a record.It’s just like Starbucks – you never go to Starbucks to test how wonderful coffee is.It’s a lifestyle.And this is how Internet e-commerce is changing China.And what we felt proud of is not how much things we sell.I said this year we’ll be bigger than Walmart – yes, we are proud.We know in five years we will sell US$ 1 trillion.This is my goal, which we think possibly we will make it.We are proud of that but we are more proud because we create direct [and indirect] job, 14 million jobs for China.And we’ve created jobs in the countryside.We created a lot of jobs for women.Over 51 percent of the power sellers on the Internet are women.So we feel so proud of that.And people say okay, now Alibaba did that.What's your next? What's your future cause you are everywhere.We, 80 percent of the buy and the sell online are created by our company.Our future is that we have to focus on globalizing our business.It's not only sell more things.We want to make, to globalize the infrastructure of eCommerce.Why Internet eCommerce grow so fast in China than in the USA? Because the infrastructure of commerce in China was too bad.Not like here.You have [Click] Motors.You have all the shops offline, Walmart, Kmart, everything everywhere.But in China we have nothing nowhere.So eCommerce in the US is a dessert.It's complementary to the main business.But in China it becomes the main course.We created the infrastructure.So we think if we globalize our infrastructure — the payment, the logistics center, the transparent platform all around the world.Helping the small business around the world to sell everywhere.Help the global consumers to buy everywhere.Our vision is in ten years we will help two billion consumers in the world to shop online anywhere in the world.You're shopping online with 72 hours you'll receive the product.And anywhere in China you shop online, you will receive the products within 24 hours.And we think our globalization is still focused on helping small business.And helping them to do business in the most efficient ways.And we think that we will help another ten million business on our eCommerce platform.We will empower them.We'll give them the traffic.We'll give them the payment system.We'll give them the logistics system so they can do business anywhere easily and quickly.And we will help.We will have 40 percent of our business outside China.Today we only have two percent of our business outside China.So people keep on asking, now you are big.You raised that much money.What's your play in America? People say well are you going to come? When are you going to come to invade America? When I going to compete with Amazon? When I going to compete with eBay? Well I would say we show great respect for eBay and Amazon.But I think the opportunity and the, the strategy for us is helping small business in America go to China, sell their products to China.Today in China, the middle class for China is almost the same as the American population.And we think in ten years it will be more than half a billion Chinese people will be middle class.The demanding for middle class, the demanding for good products, good service was so powerful, so strong.And I think China today cannot afford the good products, good service to them.And then next is that China has been focused on exporting in the past 20 years.And I think next ten, ten-twenty years China we should be focusing on importing.Chinese should learn to buy.Chinese should spend the money.Chinese should buy a lot of things from globally.And I think that American small business, American branded products you should use the Internet, go to China.Past 20 years big companies of America is already all over China.But it's the great opportunity for using the eCommerce for small business to go to America.In the past years we have helped a lot of American farmers selling things to China.For example the Seattle cherries, you will never believe that the ambassador, the American ambassador to China, he came to us say, Jack can you help us to sell the cherries in Seattle.I say how can we sell cherries? The cherries still on the trees.And we started place order, 80,000 families booked the order.And when we got the order we ship, we pick up the cherries and ship to China within 24 hours 80,000 families, 160 tons of cherries were sold.And last year we sold over 300 tons of cherries.And I don't know what's this year about.We also helped Alaska seafood.We helped Canada to sell the lobsters.The lobster we sold probably ten years they cannot sell.And we also have a lot of American branded companies using our site to sell.Costco the company, they sold 600 tons of nuts on our site for the first month.And for the first month they're using Alibaba 6.5 million US dollars.So I think if we can help to sell lobsters, if we can help sell the cherries, why we cannot help these small, medium size companies to China using our system? 當時我們注意到美國的電子商務致力于幫助大公司,幫助他們節約成本,而當時中國沒有那么多的大公司,而是有很多的小企業,對于他們來說生存是如此艱難,假如我們能夠用互聯網技術來幫助這些小公司,這會非常有意思。
美國習慣于幫助大型企業,這就好比美國人擅長于打籃球;而在中國,我們應該會去打乒乓球,去幫助那些小公司。我們需要做的不是幫助小公司去節約成本,因為他們知道如何節約成本,他們需要學習的是如何賺錢。因此,我們的業務一直專注于幫助小企業在網絡上賺錢。
我們希望阿里巴巴這個公司可以活102年。人們會好奇地問,為什么是102年?因為阿里巴巴誕生于1999年,上個世紀我們經歷了1年,這個世紀將是完整 的100年,下一個世紀再經歷1年,這樣橫跨三個世紀,102年。我們這是給了所有員工一個清晰的目標。無論我們有多少盈利,無論我們賺了多少錢,不論我 們已經取得什么成績,都不要認為我們已經成功。不要忘記我們希望活102年,現在才過了16年而已,前面還有86年。這86年中的任何一個時間,如果公司 倒閉了,我們就談不上成功。當我聽到這個俱樂部(紐約經濟俱樂部)已經有108年的歷史,我十分驚訝,十分震驚。這其中一定有很多值得阿里巴巴學習的東 西。
沒有人相信阿里巴巴可以活下去。以前人們說:“你們的平臺是免費的,你們的公司那么小?!庇绕涫俏覀冊诿绹鲜械臅r候,人們又說:“你們阿里巴巴是做電子商務的,就像亞馬遜一樣。”可能亞馬遜是美國人眼中唯一的電子商務模式,但是我們不一樣。
我們和亞馬遜不一樣的是,我們自己不做買賣,我們幫助中小企業做買賣。在阿里巴巴的平臺上,有一千萬家小企業每天做交易。我們自己不送快遞,但每天有二百 萬人幫著我們配送三千萬包裹。我們也沒有自己的倉庫,但是我們幫助那些中小物流快遞公司管理成千上萬個物流倉庫。我們也沒有任何商品庫存,但是我們有3億 5千萬的買家,每天有超過1億2千萬的消費者光顧我們的網站。去年我們的銷售額是3900億美元。今年,我們預計銷售成交會超過沃爾瑪全球,你要知道沃爾 瑪用了230萬員工,而我們只是從18人擴大到了3.4萬人。
我們和亞馬遜不一樣的還有,亞馬遜是一個購物中心,你去逛亞馬遜,去買你想要買的東西。而在阿里巴巴,人們常常能夠感受到購物之外的驚喜,這也是他們喜歡 的體驗。在美國,電子商務是商務,而在中國,電子商務是人們的一種生活方式。年輕人交換他們的思想,互相溝通,建立信任,建立個人信用記錄。就好像星巴克 一樣,你不是去星巴克品嘗它的咖啡有多么美味。這是一種生活方式。這也正是互聯網電商如何改變中國的地方。
我們感到自豪的,并不是我們賣了多少東西。我前面提到,今年我們的成交總額會超過沃爾瑪——是的,我們對此很自豪。阿里巴巴會在未來五年,達到1萬億美元 的成交額。這是我的目標,我認為我們會達到這個目標。更讓我們自豪的是,我們為中國直接和間接地提供了1400萬個就業機會。我們在中國鄉村創造就業機 會,我們為中國女性提供就業機會。中國互聯網上成功的賣家中,超過51%是女性。

我們會給這些小企業賦能。我們會引導更多流量給他們,會給提供他們支付系統,提供物流配送系統,讓他們更加快捷和便利地在全球任何角落開展業務。我們希望在中國以外的地方擁有40%的業務量?,F在,我們的海外業務只占到2%。
可能人們繼續會問,現在阿里巴巴的業務做大了,也募集到大量資金。你們會在美國做什么?你們會來美國嗎?如果來美國,你們是打算入侵美國嗎?馬云你什么時 候來和亞馬遜競爭?什么時候來和eBay競爭?其實,我對eBay和亞馬遜抱有敬仰之心。而我來這里的目的,也就是阿里巴巴的下一步戰略,是幫助美國的小 企業走進中國,幫助他們將產品賣到中國。
現在的中國,中產階層的數量和美國人口大致相當。而我們認為,未來十年中國將有五億人口成為中產階層。他們對優質產品和優質服務的需求是非常強大,非常驚 人的。今天的中國,空氣質量糟糕,水污染嚴重,土地資源有限,我認為中國的現狀沒有辦法滿足他們對于優質產品和優質服務的需求。過去20年,中國一直致力 于出口,而我認為接下來10年-20年,中國應該把注意力集中在進口方面。中國要學會進口,學會如何消費。中國應該去消費,去做全球買手。同時,我認為美 國的小企業,美國的品牌產品,也應該利用互聯網,進入中國市場。
過去20年,美國的大公司已經遍布整個中國。對于美國的小公司來說,利用好電子商務,將是巨大的機會。阿里巴巴已經幫助很多美國的農民將產品賣到中國。西 雅圖的車厘子就是一個例子。你不能想象,美國駐華大使跑來問我:“馬云,你們可以幫我們銷售西雅圖的車厘子嗎?”那時車厘子還長在樹上,我們就做了預 售,8萬個中國家庭搶購了這些訂單,我們摘下車厘子,在24小時內運到中國。24小時內,8萬個中國家庭就將160噸車厘子一搶而空。去年,我們賣掉了 300噸車厘子。我不知道今年又會是怎樣一個驚喜的數字。
我們同樣也幫助銷售阿拉斯加的海鮮。我們還幫助銷售加拿大的龍蝦,所賣出的龍蝦數量,是他們10年內都不可能達到的。許多美國的知名品牌也借助我們的平臺 銷售。像Costco超市入駐以后第一個月就賣出了600噸堅果,銷售額達到650萬美元。既然我們能夠幫助賣龍蝦,賣車厘子,為什么不可以利用我們的系 統來幫助大量的美國中小企業?我還想借用一天的數據來舉一個例子,11月11日,中國的光棍節,阿里巴巴把它變成了一個購物節。去年雙十一,我們的交易額 高達97億美元,第一分鐘有240萬消費者涌入。今年,我們認為這個數字會更加驚人,所以這也是我此次來美國的目的——中國消費者需要更多的美國產品。
每天,阿里巴巴平臺都有上億“饑渴”的消費者來購物。這就是我們來到這里的原因,我們不是來競爭的,我們來這里是希望將美國的中小企業帶到中國。我們的愿 景是“全球買、全球賣”,未來10年-20年,無論你身在何處都可以買到任何地方的產品,也把可以自己的產品賣到世界各地。菲律賓人可以買到挪威的鮭魚,挪威人可以將產品賣到阿根廷,阿根廷人可以買中國的產品,也可以將產品賣到中國。這是互聯網未來變革的方向。最后,阿里巴巴為已經改變中國而感到驕傲。變 革的力量是強大的。
第一次技術革命以后,世界有了新的商業組織形式——工廠,這些工廠帶來了武器和力量,然后催生了第一次世界大戰。第二次能源革命以后,世界又有了新的商業組織形式——公司,然后催生了二戰。
在這個互聯網時代,DT時代(DataTechnology,數據時代),我認為誕生了一個新的商業形式——平臺,“第三次世界大戰”也隨之即將打響—— 但這不是一場國與國之間的戰爭,這是一場我們攜手對抗疾病、貧窮和氣候變化的戰爭。我認為這是人類的未來。所有的人類,所有的國家,都應該聯合起來。依靠 年輕一代,而不是武器;依靠計算機和大數據,來解決人類的問題,社會的問題。這是我所熱衷的,和錢無關,這是夢想。改變世界的不僅是技術,更是你相信可以 改變世界的夢想。我們知道這條路漫長且不易。我以前說過,過去20年在中國做互聯網生意很不容易,今天很困難,明天更困難,后天很美好。但是絕大多數人死 在了明天晚上,如果你不努力的話。

2、美國打籃球,關注大企業;中國打乒乓球,關注小企業
馬云用籃球和乒乓球來比較兩種思想差異:美國習慣于幫助大型企業,這就好比美國人擅長于打籃球。而我們在中國應去打乒乓球,去幫助那些小公司。我們需要做的不是幫助小公司去節約成本,因為他們知道如何節約成本,他們需要學習的是如何賺錢。因此,我們的業務一直專注于幫助小企業在網絡上賺錢。
3、亞馬遜是購物,阿里巴巴是一種生活方式
提到電子商務,美國人首先想到亞馬遜,這是他們最熟悉的電子商務模式。而馬云想要告訴他們,世界上不止一種電子商務模式,阿里巴巴跟亞馬遜不一樣。
馬云說,阿里巴巴和亞馬遜的區別是,亞馬遜至今以自己買自己賣為主,阿里巴巴提供的是一個交易平臺:阿里巴巴并不賣貨,每天有數百萬商家在阿里巴巴平臺上進行買賣;阿里巴巴沒有自己的快遞員,但有很多物流合作伙伴,在阿里零售平臺上,每天有超過200萬的快遞員將3000萬個包裹發往世界各地;阿里巴巴也沒有商品庫存,但每天多達上億的買家登陸阿里平臺購買商品。
“阿里巴巴和亞馬遜不一樣的地方還在于,亞馬遜只是一個購物中心,你去逛亞馬遜,去買你想要買的東西”;“阿里巴巴則是一種生活方式,在阿里巴巴,人們買到的是驚喜和體驗。年輕人交換他們的思想,互相溝通,建立信任,建立個人信用,就好像星巴克一樣,你不是去星巴克品嘗它的咖啡有多么美味,這是一種生活方式?!?/p>
4、阿里巴巴不是來美國競爭,是要把美國企業帶到中國
馬云在演講中提到,“阿里巴巴成長過程中,尤其是上市之后,不斷有人問我們,何時到美國跟Amazon和eBay競爭?”
他對此的回答是:我們尊敬這兩家公司,不過我們的機會和策略在于幫助美國中小企業的發展。

5、中國的中產階級對優質產品需求強大,這是美國中小企業的巨大機會
現在的中國,中產階層的數量和美國人口大致相當。未來十年中國還將有五億人口成為中產階層。他們對優質產品和優質服務的需求非常強大,非常驚人。過去20年,中國一直致力于出口,而接下來10年-20年,中國要學會進口,學會消費,去做全球買手。馬云認為,這對美國的小企業和品牌產品來說,是巨大的機會,他們應該利用互聯網進入中國市場。
6、阿里巴巴的未來愿景是“全球買、全球賣”
馬云描述了阿里巴巴的全球化目標:我們的愿景是“全球買、全球賣”,未來10年-20年,無論你身在何處都可以買到任何地方的產品,也把可以自己的產品賣到世界各地。菲律賓人可以買到挪威的鮭魚,挪威人可以將產品賣到阿根廷,阿根廷人可以買中國的產品,也可以將產品賣到中國。
馬云稱,阿里巴巴希望未來十年內幫助全球20億消費者在線購買全世界的產品,而且做到全球范圍內72小時內收到商品,在中國范圍內,無論你身在何處,24小時內收到商品。阿里巴巴的全球化戰略,仍然是致力于幫助小企業,幫助他們以最有效的方式來做生意。我們會在自己的電商平臺上,幫助到另外一千萬家小企業。
7、“第三次世界大戰”即將打響,全世界攜手對抗疾病、貧困和自然災害
演講中,馬云拋出一個驚人觀點——”第三次世界大戰”即將打響,不同的是,這次是好的“戰爭”。
馬云說,第一次技術革命后,出現了工廠,這些工廠帶來了武器和力量,然后有了第一次世界大戰;第二次能源革命后,出現了公司,然后有了二戰;現在人類進入DT時代(DataTechnology,數據時代),一個新的商業形式——平臺誕生了,第三次世界大戰也即將打響。但這不是一場國與國之間的戰爭,這是一場我們攜手對抗疾病、貧窮和氣候變化的戰爭。
“我認為這是人類的未來。所有的人類,所有的國家,都應該聯合起來。依靠年輕一代,而不是武器;依靠計算機和大數據,來解決人類的問題,社會的問題。我是我所熱衷的,和錢無關,這是夢想。”

got crazy about the internet,gave up my job in the teaching, I called myself like blind man riding on the back of a blind tiger, jumping around,and still KIKI ,still surviving,and then join the govement organization for sixteen months, not successful ,started alibaba 1999.and we built up the alibaba,we are luck enough,we have the taobao ,we have the alipay we have ali cloud computing,and the so many things,after 12years,I say:”I need some time to rest” , especially,this year,so difficult for me , I did not expect.Per 12 years was china call the “本命年“.This is our 12 year for alibaba.At the beginning of the year,we have the,you know ,moving for alibaba b2b CEO,because the customer cheating thing,and then we have the alipay about the VIE.I still don?t know what the VIE is,”right”, and buyer,and we believe that three is no big company in china,and I don?t see, in the short term, china will have lots of big company,because big company is only SOE,SOE ,they do not the ecommerce, they need govement policy.so we focus on small business,we believe china,the small business ,the private sector are the future.so we focus on that, and the B2B in usa ,they focus.They want to help the buyer save the cost ,save the time.we believe:”don?t don?t teach the SME,don?t teach the small business how to save the cost.because know much better than you do.You shound help them how to make money.so we focus on helping small business,we focus on helping them make money ,sell things abroad.Very difficult to do business,at that time,but after 12 years,we got more than 58 millions small 感謝大家來參加今天的首屆網商交易會,我想知道今天有多少是淘寶的用戶,謝謝大家!

在周末,這么多人來參加網絡交易會,其實,我心里還是非常感動的,特別是昨天我到會場看到了其他交易會很少看見的現象,有媽媽帶著孩子,也看到了一家三口,也看到了很多年紀比較大,六十多歲的人拉著包在交易會上走,回去后我就想,是什么樣的力量將這些人聚在一起,是什么吸引了我們,我認為是希望和信心,帆布包里面帶著每個人的信心和希望,我自己這么覺得。
大概在1992、1993年有創業的想法,為了嘗試創業的感覺,我曾經到義烏小商品市場拉著包進貨,我也到廣州海珠廣場進貨,當時海珠廣場還是比較亂的,廣交會也進不去,但是每次來進貨,我心里充滿了希望和信心,我覺得我參加這樣的活動會改變我們,我認為這次的網貨交易會盡管開的還不是非常的正規,還不是非常的好,但是我們的人氣說明了一切,我感到自豪和高興的是,在座的都是八十年代和九十年代的人在一起,你們在改變世界和未來。
阿里巴巴今年是十周年,十年來想在中國證明一件事情,就是互聯網在中國有希望,互聯網將完善中國,推進中國的發展,我們堅信電子商務會存在,電子商務在中國會發展。
十年以來,我被中國很多人認為是中國最大的忽悠者,我講任何話都是忽悠,我想今天還想在忽悠一把!
十年以來一直在忽悠,我一直在倡導互聯網的精神,一直倡導電子商務,一直倡導網商的精神,六年前我將很要好的朋友,一個很要好的商人朋友交流,我說剛剛推出了淘寶網,我希望他將生意搬到網上做,他說再說吧,有很多的時間。四年前又說請將生意搬到網上,他說行了,我現在忙不過來,二年前他跟我說,為什么不早說,我現在的生意都被淘寶網上的孩子搶走了,如果大家記得在1999年和2001年來很多次廣東,每次阿里巴巴的網商大會上,我不斷推進一個想法,就是將外貿企業迅速的搬到網上去,有多少人真正的相信,我看未必,但是今天相信的人得到了好處,世界發生了很大的變化,到了今天為止,還沒有認清互聯網,到今天為止還沒有開始使用電子商務,到今天為止還將自己認為互聯網就是網的游戲和網上看看新聞的話,我相信你會非常的后悔。我自己是這樣看待的,到今天為止,前十年電子商務也好,互聯網也好,我們只證明它存在,但是互聯網和電子商務到底是否可以影響未來,對我們的生活有多大的改變,未來的十年將發生巨大的改變,這次的網貨交易會本人有很大的期盼,我們正在開啟網貨的時代,自從淘寶誕生以后,自從阿里巴巴誕生以后,最近的半年和一年,我們聽見的聲音太多的是,淘寶上面假貨橫行,淘寶上面反對的聲音越來越多,隨著交易量的增長,不講誠信,假貨橫行,盜版猖獗,大家認為淘寶就是假貨集散地,事實上淘寶是不是假貨集散地,我本人認為,并不是這樣的。
以前淘寶碰到的是競爭,以前淘寶競爭的是同行業的,今天淘寶最大的競爭是昨天最成功的人,成為今天淘寶的競爭者。我關注到很多的品牌商、渠道商不斷的說淘寶是假貨。
上一個月,我在香港街上一位送了幾只雪茄煙,我剛好走過香港雪茄盒的商店,很貴的,我挑了一個最便宜的也是1.3萬元,我心疼了很久,回到家我就覺得不行,我要在淘寶上查一下,同樣的盒子在淘寶上賣720元,一模一樣的,到底發生了怎么樣的事情,還有朋友從香港購買了玩游戲的籌碼,1.3萬元一套,也有+1.5萬元/套的,9000元/套,我在淘寶上查了一下是350元,所有的人就想一定是假的,不可能是真的,我發現生產籌碼的工廠是在浙江金華,將籌碼出口到美國,香港從美國進口后放在香港,中國大陸的人再從香港購買回去,現在的情況是金華的工廠直接在淘寶上賣,也就是賣350元,很多品牌的電視機以及制造廠家跟我說,我們賣一臺電視機,從設計到制造好和銷售,賣回來只賺10元,幾千元的電視機只賺10元,如果一臺電視機只賺10元,怎么可以希望制造業創新和投入研發,這些錢被誰賺走了,有一個朋友跟我說,中國有一個很有名的酒,賣800元/瓶,但是酒的成本只有10元,300元花到了電視廣告商,300+元花到了渠道商了,還有100—200元給了回饋和包裝,消費者為什么要買只有10元價值的酒,卻要花800—900元,就要付300元,這是對消費者不公平,對制造業也不公平,如何將整個渠道打通,我覺得電子商務必須對行業給予巨大的沖擊。
電子商務對傳統其他行業的沖擊,我們想象一下,5年前的物流行業,有多少的物流行業真正做到了客戶第一,真正做到了客戶的體驗,真正擴大了物流,沒有的。
但是這兩年,最近淘寶上每一天至少送出400萬個包裹,需要很多的物流公司將包裹一個一個的送出去,順便我跟大家講。去年我沒有在淘寶上購物,現在我們家跟所有的朋友一樣,每天最大的希望和快樂是拿一個包裹過來,拆開來看,盡管我知道包裹里面是什么東西,但是我就想拆開來看,前幾天我購買了幾個洗澡用的大浴巾,賣家有非常漂亮的紅色浴巾,也有黃色和綠色的,但是他說紅色的沒有貨,我發現太太跟那個人在網絡上爭論,她說為什么沒有紅色的還在賣,賣家說沒有了,我太太說,將貨拿下來,結果第二天還沒有將貨拿下來,我就說必須將沒有的貨拿下來,我告訴他,我是淘寶的,他說我不相信,經過交流,那個人說我一定將貨拿下來,沒有就是沒有,對于我來講,網商最大的價值就是誠信,因為我們要求貨源公司誠信,要求買家誠信,為什么不能強制賣家誠信。
我在淘寶和阿里巴巴市場上看到的是誠信在不斷的滋生和誕生,看到今天互聯網的力量,這些不斷的變化。
去年的年初,我們從淘寶的數據,特別是阿里巴巴中小企業的數據上基本判斷出,世界經濟將會出現很大的問題,7月份就寫了一封信說冬天要來了,但是絕大部分的人認為互聯網的冬天來了,阿里巴巴你們的“冬天”要來了,但是我們認為是世界經濟,進出口貿易,內需市場的“冬天”要來了。去年年底有人說你說冬天要來了,冬天有多久,什么時候可以度過。我在淘寶和阿里巴巴的賣家的餐廳去吃飯,剛坐下,老板就說,冬天被你說對了,現在店里的生意越來越差,你如何看待冬天,什么時候會結束,我說今年年底和明年年初冬天沒有問題的,他說真的,這么快就結束了,我說今年年底和明年年初你會適應的,任何的企業都必須適應外部的環境。
今天經濟有所回暖,但是我想告訴大家的是,今天經濟仍然面臨巨大的困難,不要為恢復昨天而感到興奮,更不要為失去昨天的輝煌而興奮。2007年火爆的股市不會回來了,真正要改變的是經濟的結構和商業的文明,商界新生力量的起來,我看到經濟的恢復,我告訴所有的網商,在網貨交易會上感受的不是冬天,感受的是春天的來到,感受到的是希望的來到,因為世界進入了非常大的變化,我本
人如何看待這場危機。去年六、七月份我認為是危機,今天已經不是危機,它是強力的信號,今年年初事實上越來越顯示證明這是世界經濟發展過程中必然的鎮痛,強烈的信號告訴我們昨天成功的企業,今天越失敗,昨天越自以為是的企業不改變自己,不會走下去,昨天小的企業將會大。
另外的信號是由資本密集型走向知識密集型這是強烈的信號,以前認為是靠關系做生意到走向靠誠信做生意,信號越來越強烈,不管大家是否相信,十年以后的商業會跟今天完全的不一樣,十年后見到的富豪和成功的企業家跟今天是完全不一樣的。十年后的成功者一定是八、九十年代的人,而且成功者的年齡會越來越年輕,大家要記住,我自己這樣告訴自己,假如不改變,怎么會有我們的機會。1995年從大學中出來創業,我想證明一件事情,如果馬云可以成功,中國80%的年輕人都可以成功,憑什么,只有有關系的人可以成功,為什么只有膽大的人可以成功,成功者必須有智慧和誠信,因此世界的開放正在加快。在座所有的人,我跟大家沒有任何的區別,而且唯一的區別,我比在座所有的人都長的怪一點,長的丑一點。但是我也沒有資本,創業的時候,我是問親戚、朋友一起借錢,總共是2萬元,沒有關系的,我父母就是普普通通的家庭,但是為什么發展的這么快,今天我看到網絡上說,馬云你真偉大,淘寶做的這么好,阿里巴巴做的這么好,我心里特別的難過,這不是我的功勞,這是互聯網的功勞,這是中國發展的功勞,這是1.3萬員工的功勞,這是中國幾千萬在座各位對網商信任的功勞,我覺得自己真的很難過。有的時候別人罵我,馬云你是胡扯的,怎么有這么爛的服務,我也沒有寫過一段程序,也沒有編過規章制度,但是后來發現,今天網絡發生巨大變化的時候,讓我們這些平凡的人,可以借助中國的力量,互聯網的力量發生變化,回憶這十幾年的發展之路,只要有夢想,只要跟同事不斷的了解客戶,因客戶而變而變,一定會走到今天,我自己感覺,因為互聯網,因為前十年的變化,讓我們走到今天,未來的十年互聯網和電子商務的變化會更大,假如沒有時代的變化,沒有這場經濟危機,我相信在座絕大部分的人沒有十年后成功的可能性。
我們去哪里找關系,我們去哪里找銀行貸款,我們去哪里跟人談合作,因為在所有人的眼睛里面就是普通的年輕人,就是普普通通的人,互聯網給我巨大的感觸,在公司和家庭中,不斷創造新的思想,中華民族尊老愛幼很好,為什么不可以尊幼愛老,對年輕人尊重和傾聽,今天八、九十年代的孩子伴隨著網絡的成長,對老的人要愛護,太老的人問明天會怎么樣,我估計談不出什么,互聯網的另外一種變化是很有意思的。我爺爺這一輩子是靠報紙決定未來的,報紙上的一切都是對的,我父親是靠聽廣播的,我們這一代是看電視的,今天八、九十年代的孩子說要參與,要有自己的觀點,因此互聯網誕生了新的一代,互聯網的起來,電子商務的起來將徹底改變未來,徹底影響我們的生活,社會已經發生劇烈的變化,我想告訴大家的是,2009年互聯網和電子商務只完成了第一個階段,就是機會。大家都說機會被阿里巴巴和淘寶、百度、谷歌和騰訊搶去了,我告訴大家機會還沒有開始,所有的機會都會在未來十年內真正的開始。
網貨今天才開始,前年的八年阿里巴巴做了什么事情,我們想證明中國將會誕生一批新的群體叫做網商,我們所到之處都是網商,廣東的粵商、山西的晉商,但是互聯網是沒有區域的,所有的商業都要遵守一個規則就是誠信,網商告訴我們一點,阿里巴巴走到今天是四大特征,未來的二十一世紀要想成功必須有四大特征:
開放的胸懷
分享的精神
承擔責任
全球化的眼光
必須從全球的角度看問題,有了四大特征,一定會在二十一世紀非常的成功,后面的五年我們將證明網貨的力量,十元的酒就應該賣二、三十元,而不應該賣八百元,電視機這么多的工序只掙十元是不合理的。
傳統的渠道商拿了制造業的錢,剝削了消費者,不是真正的完善渠道,而是做房地產的投資,股市的投資,這是對任何人的不負責任,未來的五年我們將倡導和推進網貨的力量,再五年我們將推進網規,沒有網絡上的誠信和做事的規則我們絕對不相信互聯網可以完善。
在淘寶的封面和阿里巴巴的網上開始在全球范圍內招聘和尋求法律專家,經濟學專家,社會學專家,人類學專家。為什么請這些人,因為我們感覺到未來的網規、網貨、網商將會創造新的世界,人類開始進入新的世界,不能再憑今天二十多歲的淘寶的店小二制訂游戲的規則,他們已經非常的累。有人問,為什么要找人類學家研究淘寶,現在淘寶發生了很大的變化。淘寶用戶到店里看到一個樣品,小絨娃娃,賣家說30元,買家問是否報郵費,我們必須對網上交易的規則,必須對賣家約束。我很感動,有的時候,晚上很晚的時候,在中國凌晨一點的時候上網,還可以看到旺旺上一片燈的亮起,到了晚上一點多還在上班,我想請人類學家研究賣家的行為,幾點起來,登陸過程中發現了什么事情,根據這些行為制訂游戲的規則。這就是對未來的判斷,十年后,我相信在坐每一個人的努力,我們會創造新的網絡世界,今天阿里巴巴B2B有很多的企業,制造業因為網貨時代發生巨大的變化,每一次營銷方式的變化,就會形成制造業的變化,我在這里不是忽悠,也不是勸阻,而是警告,而是真正的呼吁大家,所有的企業高度關注電子商務,最近發現渠道越強的企業,賣貨越好的企業,麻煩越多,今天搬到網站上去賣,現在90%的營業額來自于渠道,今天沒有渠道的企業越活越好,越來越通常,今天發現一個問題,廣東的企業會制造不會賣。廣東幾十年的發展,資金是靠臺港澳地區,品牌和渠道是靠海外,廣東人只要造就可以了,造了就會有人來賣,錢有港澳臺融資,一旦金融危機海外渠道發生了問題,品牌發生了問題,很多企業出現了問題,但是今天我想告訴大家,通過互聯網,通過電子商務,你的貨是迅速可以走出去的,必須進行改革,以消費者為中心,C2B思想,今天也聽到了C2C,這二、三年來,關注最多的是消費者將影響未來。以前大家都是C2C,還有傳統的B2C,到了今天我想告訴大家,所有的制造業高度警惕,因為消費者必須改變自己產品的設計,改變渠道的推廣方式,必須改變創新設計的能力,C2B一定會成為產業升級的未來,以消費者為導向,柔性化生產,定制化生產將會取代,網貨將制造業的利潤提高,將渠道打掉,網貨讓所有的消費者得到個性化的產品,網規會讓這些企業更加的透明,更加的誠信,更加的受消費者的尊重,我相信這才是未來時代的發展,我們處在變化的時代,今天痛苦的人,你們去看一下,互聯網上反對聲音最大的是誰?是今天的成功者,網商群體中看到反對阿里巴巴和淘寶的已經不是阿里巴巴和淘寶的競爭者,而是今天買賣中最好的人,他本來就想渠道有30%—40%,被淘寶搞了以后,只剩下
10%—20%。
前幾天有一個老外,一個LV的包賣二、三萬元,我可以買二十頭牛了,憑什么賣這么貴。我們尊重知識產權,尊重品牌,但我不尊重暴利,我更不尊重,為了維護自己某些特殊的利益而設置了大量的障礙,我今天也這么講,十年以后法律的規范是對傳統的專利、品牌也會受到巨大的沖擊。
前段時間從美國回來,最有意思的是,很多的企業說,我們有這么多的專利,有全世界著名的公司,他們可能是諾貝獎獲得者最多的公司,我們擁有全世界最多的專利,這家公司活的非常累,他們為了管理這些專利,請了無數的人,做了很多的程序,他們就是管理專利,哪些專利可以用,他們設置了大量的地雷陣,阻礙其他人的創新,發達國家今天設置了大量的壁壘,阻礙發展中國家,有錢,有勢的公司設置了大量的錢為了保護自己,最賺錢的就是律師以及利益保障者,今天人類要進步,人類要創新,就靠在座的網商的力量,網貨的力量。
法律不能保障誠信,如果不相信誠信是有力量是不行的,今天的中國必須倡導互聯網是有力量的,最后我想制造商們,這次金融危機可能是在座絕大部分今天沒有渠道,昨天一步臭棋今天會變成好棋,要迅速開始新的營銷。
不知道在座有多少人會下圍棋的,但是我知道下了一步臭棋,就不要救,反過來看就是下了一步好棋,我在阿里巴巴十年中,有人說馬云你很厲害,其實一開始是臭棋,現在看來都是好棋,千萬不要迷信一個人和一家公司,是靠自己一步一步的走,創業者永遠的有夢想,每天采取行動,去改變和調整。
我還想講這句話,假如在二十一世紀你想成功,記住客戶第一,就是誠信,做一切的努力就是為了客戶,員工第二,最近爭議很多,我前幾天在香港的股東大會上講,客戶第一,員工第二,股東第三。有人說馬云早知道你是股東第三,我就不會買你的股票,我說你還來得及,現在可以賣掉股票,是誰給我們錢是客戶,誰創造了價值是員工,廣東所有的網商們,今天改變我們,影響我們,幫我們成長的是我們的員工。
有一位企業家跟我講,賣很好的產品,在淘寶上怎么賣也賣不出去,小丫頭一賣就賣出去了,哪些老頭賣產品的套路是不同的,年輕的店小二一上來就是親一下,我們是不適應的,現在上淘寶如果沒有人說親我反而不適應了。
以前我們認為穿西裝是對人的尊敬,最早我們發現穿中山裝是對人的尊敬,現在發現其實穿的越舒服,別人感覺的好就很好,商業形式的變化真正的發生了變化,最后我想說,我們淘寶的賣家,阿里巴巴的企業們,今天的電子商務不是五年以后的電子商務,五年前有人問我,阿里巴巴到底會變成什么樣子,我說2009年會有一個感覺,我們有了消費者的淘寶,有了企業的阿里巴巴,有了中間支付的體系,開始為明天打造阿里軟件,我們為未來服務業的電子商務,開餐飲、做洗腳店和搞旅館的電子商務在三至五年會起來,我們建立了這個體系,但是真正的電子商務的成型是在五年,我相信在2014年會看到完全不同的電子商務的渠道,希望大家抓住這五年的時間,如果今天還停留在游戲和網吧里面,今天還在笑話別人做電子商務,五年后你會更加的后悔,我們必須要創造未來,我們可以改變未來,每一個人今天到這里來,每天來這里的目的是對未來的希望,對明天的信心,一切為明天而做,我們不要為昨天而失望,更不能因為恢復昨天而感到興奮,世界變化剛剛開始,阿里巴巴在這里跟大家一起承諾,以前是幾個人的使命,今天已經變成了1.3萬阿里人的使命,我們將會全力以赴支持網商、網貨、網規的建設,未來的十年阿里巴巴的使命是打造新的商業文明,我們要讓那些誠信、開放、分享責任感和全球化的商人取得成功。
最后,十年后我希望在今天場地里坐著的人,絕大部分的人因為從今天開始的行動,今天推動網貨和網商的革命,十年后以成功者對自己對家庭成功的人站在這個臺上,對自己的家庭和世界負責任,感謝大家參加本次論壇,
