The little prince is a fairy tales for abult.The book was written to a grown-up.His name is Leon Werth.Thelanguage in this book is facetious.The little Prince lived in Asteroid B-612, The little Prince’s was delightful, helanghde and he wangtde a sheep.He had flower, The flower was very beautiful, He loved she very much, sheperfumed his planet and lit up hislife.But the flower was very proud and she liked telling lies,So the little prince, clespite all the good will of his love, had soon come to mistrust her.He had taken seriously certain in consequential remarks and had grown very unhappy.So he decide to leave his planet.He went to the vicinity of Asteroids 325.326.327:328.329 and 330, He meet many strangers.The first one was a king.He thought all men are subjeets.The second planet was inhabited by a very wain man to voin man, other people are admirerrs.The next planet was iahabited by a drunkard.The fourth planet belonged to a businessman, He was very busy, The fifth planet was very strange.It was the smallest of all.There was just enough room for a street lamp and a lamplighter.The planet revolves once a minute.The lamplighter must light his lamp and turn it out once every minute.The sixth planet was ten times bigger than the last.It was in habited by an old gentleman who wrote enormous books.The seventh planet was the earth.The earth is not just another planet.It contains one hundered and eleven kings seven thousand geographers nine hundered thousand businessmen saven and ahalf million drun kards three-hundered eleven million vain-men.It makes me understand.The grow-ups aways need explanations.The gorw-ups like talk about bridge and golt and politics and neckties.Grow-ups like numbers,too.When you tellthem about a new friend,they never ask questions about what really matters.They never ask: What does his voice sound like?’ What games does he like best?’ “Does he collect butterflies?” They ask :“How old is he?” “How many blothers does he have?” “How much money does his father make?”

Read the book, I understand some principle.One sees clearly only with the heart, Anything essential is invisible to the eyes.It’s the time you spent on someone that makes somebody so

important.People have stars, but they aren’t the same.For travelers, the stars are guides.For other people they’re nothing but tiny lights.And for still others, for scholars they’re problems.For businessman, they were gold.But all those stars are silent stars.We, though, we all have stars like nobady else.高一（10）班

Book review of The Little Prince

The Little Prince is a tale for both children and adults.The Little Prince is the story of a man who crashes his airplane into the desert only to meet a traveling boy from a small planet.The boy inquires about trees and sheep, shares his journeys and various encounters, and then leaves.Yet, reading between the lines, the story offers a much more complex, enriching, satisfying and eye-opening moral: what matters in life is love-and caring about someone or something and maintaining that relationship.The prince loves his rose enough to care for it every night by protecting it with a glass globe and requesting a muzzle for his sheep.He knows that the rose is naive with only four purposeless thorns and, out of his loyalty to her, it is his duty to protect her.Likewise, the narrator loves the prince and feels an obligation to secure his safe journey home.I read this book as a child and was infected with a sense of awe and a newfound respect for the written word and its power to touch, heal and change perception.For myself, it accomplished two things;it instilled in me a desire to one day become a writer and touch others with my words and like the narrator of the story, and Antoine De Saint-Exupery(whose own plane crash is said to have been the basis for the tale)it instilled within me a hope that one day the Little Prince will return and someone will let me know.What is the meaning of this tale? Easily saying is that the tale talk about many normal things like morals and principles and values from two different but successive way as children and adults.As the narrator said you can only catch adults’ attention by describing the price of something or saying the number of something.It’s hard to make adults feel lovely by the children’s beautiful describing.That is the reason why many adults believe this tale is a tale for adults.Being insincere and utilitarian, adults consider useful and kids think sinful.Free spirit and free heart, adults consider absurd and children believe necessary.The amazing point is that these two different beliefs are held by one species--Human.When we were young, we could see anything God want us to see.But after decades, what we could see was only something we need to see.There are so many good things for children and their imagination.And there are not so many things for adults and their reality.

Especially when the teacher, like to go to other people, because order that other people can find themselves high up above and become a king, others only obeys.The second encounter is love are people who love to be admired him, praise him anything except hear, in fact, we ourselves do they not? Others as long as one to praise himself, we do not carried away on it? Through this we can easily become conceited person, but also easy for the offensive.There drunkard, but also a businessman, even to light lamps and geographer, I think those people is equivalent to our portrayal of the real world, love the order, and love to be admired, I would like to re-occupy the possession, finally left with nothing......I think the Little Prince This book is a family book, in this book, I can feel that for whom fame for modern day busy round, but not know they have a deep impact on the younger generation, small Prince did not understand why adults want to do that? My favorite book is wrote by Antoine de Saint-Exupery.I still remember the first time I read the book, I was like in a fantastic world.The little prince is a boy who has an angelical heart, his life is also very simple-a small planet which is full of flowers and monkey bread tree seedlings.The little prince is always depressed, and when he was sad, he would sit on a chair and see the sunset.He even see forty-three times sunset in a day to make himself feel better.His life turned to a new appearance when a beautiful rose came out.She is a flower with proud, when her lie was exposed by the little prince, she felt embarrassed.The small misunderstanding between them made the little prince determined to leave the planet he lived on.On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer.From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd.Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth.Traveling on the earth, the little prince, who sees a garden of five-thousand roses, is overcome with astonishment and sadness, as he considers his rose is unique in the universe before.At that time a fox

appears.The fox, who tell the little prince about the meaning of the word “tame”, becomes his new friend.At the time to say farewell, the fox makes him know that his rose is unique because she is his rose and tamed by him.From that the little prince begins to treasure friendship and be responsible to his rose.Then he chooses the venom of snake to end his but happy, he thinks he could lay aside the bulky body and go back.I cried about the prince’s death.But I’m not sad.His life is so childish ,pure, and also sincere.And he must get his happy ending being with his rose finally.The plot is easy, but the deep meaning of the story is worth thinking.we have grown up as an adult, then we are gradually surrounded by meaningless figures and money.We live in a complex society , every day we must be faced with all kinds of person ,which made our heart more and more cold and detached.For me, society is a monster which could kill the pureness inside of my mind.I’m so grateful for reading this story.And from then on, I have a little prince live in my heart, and when I felt tired to face the society, he appeared and took me back to the clean and honest world that I’ve ever stayed in childhood.Then, I found out everything seemed so simple and life was so beautiful.更多熱門文章：

Over the course of this semester,I read a moving book:THE LITTLE PRINCE.It impressed me a lot,especially,the pure but deep emotion(love)between the characters such as the pilot and the little prince,the rose and the little prince,the fox and the little prince.The book remind me of the pure and nice emotion only found in childhood.The main character our little prince live on a planet named B612 accompany with there volcanoes an a rose who falls in love with him but can not understand each other.Consequencely,he leave his planet and his endless travelling.During this period,he come across a diversity of people.From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd.Then he enter earth and found thousands of roses alike.The little prince discovers thathis rose is notthe only ,plenty of her kind are everywhere, but then he realizes that his rose is special “because it is she that I have watered;because it is she that I have put under the glass globe;because it is she that I have sheltered behind the screen”.Then he fall across the fox.She teaches the prince “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly;what is essential is invisible to the eye ”

What impresses me the most is the fox’s words.love is a strange stuff.Sometimes we see it but can’t grasp it.Yet, true love may be, to some extent, invisible in surface but may last permanent.Apart from love, others as well.Indeed,sometimes what we consider right turn out to be wrong,what we consider real proves fictitious,what we confused may just turn out to be the truth.The path In searching for truth may long and time-consuming,we should harbour conviction,strong will and high hope.No matter what barriade in front of us,we ought to be couragous and face up to the challenge.
