關于制定教學目標的幾點建議

有效的教學源于有效的教學目標和教學設計,而教學目標的準確制定,很大程度上取決于教師對教材、學情的準確分析。我們每天都要關注教學目標,教學目標是我們教案中不可缺少的環(huán)節(jié),也是對我們教學智慧最基本的考量。
魯子問教授說過:教學目標之所以受到如此重視,是因為教學目標正確與否,直接關系到教學行為是否有效。指向正確的教學目標的教學活動,即使教學活動有一些缺陷,但目標方向不會出現(xiàn)錯誤。這樣,盡管教學效率可能受到損失,但教學效果不會出現(xiàn)方向性的錯誤。而指向錯誤的教學目標的教學活動,即使教學活動再完美,也因為目標錯誤導致教學效果出現(xiàn)南轅北轍式的錯誤。所以,目標是否科學,決定著整個教學活動是否能達到整個教學目標,甚至教育目的。
我們在研修過程中發(fā)現(xiàn),有的老師在制定教學目標時存在著一些問題:有的老師只關注知識目標,沒有關注到語用目標;有的老師對目標的表達不夠規(guī)范;有的老師設計的目標沒有層次性等等。針對這些問題,結合老師們的作業(yè),提出以下建議:
一、教學目標要體現(xiàn)語用價值
在閱讀老師們提交的作業(yè)時,我發(fā)現(xiàn)80%以上的老師都是圍繞“知識目標”、“能力目標”、“情感目標”來設計教學目標的,沒有提到語用目標。本專題,魯教授說過這樣一句話:我們要從運用的高度分析教材,不能只是分析教材的語法項目、詞匯,還要分析語用的形態(tài)。
關于語用目標在英語教學中的重要性,我從青島杭州路小學焦淑鳳老師的感悟中選用了一段:
看過這樣一個笑話,有學生將“How are you?”翻譯成“怎么是你?”;而“How old are you ?”更夸張,翻譯成“怎么老是你?”。在笑過之后,作為英語教師的我們,有沒有什么東西刺痛了一下你的心?我們是不是也該反思一下我們的英語教學?在以往的英語教學中,我們過多的重視的語法的運用和單詞的拼寫,貌似是給學生打下了堅實的英語基礎,其實不然。為什么美國的文盲照樣說得一口流利的英文?他們不會語法吧?學習了今天的專題,突然意識到語用是多么的關鍵,不注重實際運用,沒有真實有效的情景,再精彩的表演都無意義。
這個小笑話,無數(shù)人聽了,聽了無數(shù)遍。不知有多少人能像焦老師這樣引發(fā)深刻的反思。作為英語教師,我們真的應該反思自己的教學行為,為什么學生只會讀單詞、背課文,而不敢說英語,不會用英語做事情。焦老師總結得好“不注重實際運用,沒有真實有效的情景,再精彩的表演都無意義。”站在運用的高度分析教材、設計教學活動,只有這樣才能真正培養(yǎng)學生運用語言的能力。
下面這個運用目標的描述就比較合理,比較接近真實的生活:
90%中等以上的學生能夠運用How do you go to school? I go to school by…How
1does …go to school? He/She goes to school by…相互了解上學乘坐的交通工具,為學校增設校車的方案提供一手資料。
二、教學目標要體現(xiàn)層次性
研修過程中,很多老師提出了這樣一個問題:如何實現(xiàn)教學的層次性?我認為,要實現(xiàn)課堂教學的層次性,首先要體現(xiàn)教學目標的層次性。
例如,有位老師班里有60%的優(yōu)秀生,學習了關于顏色的問答,老師沒有針對這部分學生設計更高要求的教學目標,而統(tǒng)統(tǒng)都是“理解課文,掌握所學單詞,會說重點句型”。我認為,這個目標是“底線”,是全班同學或者絕大多數(shù)學生都應該達到的目標。對于60%的優(yōu)秀生,除了理解課文、會說單詞、重點句型,還能做些什么?老師完全可以在備課時增加一個更高要求的目標——靈活運用所學知識,也就是綜合語言運用目標。
濟南市經(jīng)五路小學楊文婷老師的作業(yè)中,是這樣闡述的:
(A)級:能夠聽說、認讀新授單詞。能夠聽懂會說本模塊功能句型。
(B)級:能夠在A級的基礎上,靈活運用功能句談論自己喜歡的食物,能夠參與并完成小組活動。
(C)級:能夠在B級的基礎上,在生活中,表達自己喜歡的食物,以及如何為別人提供或請別人吃東西。
盡管楊老師沒有明確說明ABC三個級別的比例數(shù),但是我們能看到老師關注了目標的層次性。當然,目標的層次可以根據(jù)學生的情況及時調(diào)整。
三、目標的確定不能太宏觀
在點評老師們的作業(yè)時,我還發(fā)現(xiàn)這樣一種現(xiàn)象:教學目標設定大方向是對的,但是比較籠統(tǒng)。例如,“描述過去發(fā)生的事”這個目標太大,可能不太好操作。最好說得再詳細一點。在描述教學目標時,行為動詞盡量具體化、明確化、可操作化、可評價化。
例如,“理解故事大意”這個目標太宏觀,不易檢測和評價。怎樣就算“理解”了?我認為,可以改為:用自己的話說說故事的意思。這樣就對理解的行為進行了外化。容易操作,也容易反饋。
四、不能把一個長期目標放在一節(jié)課內(nèi)完成確定教學目標時,要關注當下目標,即本節(jié)課能夠達到的目標,這個目標是有時效性的。例如,有的老師以“培養(yǎng)學生的語言交際能力”為目標,卻沒有意識到,這其實是一個將會貫穿學生英語學習生活始終的長期目標,太大,不宜將其僅僅作為本節(jié)課的能力目標。因此,建議修改表達形式。可以改為:“在……的語境中,用所學句型進行對話交流。”
五、明確誰是目標達成的行為主體
我們知道,目標達成的行為主體是學生,而不是教師。我們經(jīng)常看到這樣的表述:“使學生掌握課文中的重點句型和5個新授單詞”;“培養(yǎng)學生運用過去時態(tài)進行語言交際”;“幫助學生復述課文”……
這樣的目標是給老師制定的,而不是為學生制定的。建議改為:“能夠用對話中的重點句型We went to … We ate… We had …表述過去發(fā)生的事情”;“能夠聽、說、認讀went, saw, ate, had, the Great Wall.五個新授單詞和短語”;“在聽、說、讀課文的基礎上復述故事的梗概”;“運用重點句型,借助語言支架完成?旅游海報?”等等。

我們農(nóng)村學校缺少英語學習環(huán)境,人與人之間存在著一定的差
這就要求我們要因材施教,充分調(diào)動每一個學生的積極性主動性,讓每個學生主動地快樂的去學習英語,所以我們英語教師要結合本班的實際,制定切合學生實際水平的教學目標。
未參加研修之前,自己對一節(jié)課的目標制定也是有認識上的誤
區(qū),例如:以前我過多的重視語法的運用和單詞的拼寫,覺得學生只要會說句子,會拼寫單詞,對于小學生來說已經(jīng)足夠了。可是經(jīng)過網(wǎng)絡研修,我才覺得自己真的是“井底之蛙”。
之所以推薦此篇文章,主要有兩方面原因。
一方面,提醒沒機會參加研修的老師們,尤其在教學目標制定上有嚴重困惑的老師,好好看看這篇文章,它將會指引我們在教學上能夠更加順利的前行。
另一方面,也是最主要的一點,重視語用。通過研修這個專題發(fā)
現(xiàn)語用是多么的關鍵,不注重實際運用,沒有真實有效的情景,再精彩的表演都無意義,這句話是多么的經(jīng)典。
根據(jù)本篇文章的思想,教學目標的設定要突出激發(fā)學生的學習動機和愛好為宗旨,從小學生的角度考慮問題。基礎教育最重要的是教會學生學習,盡量在課堂上開發(fā)學生的自主學習、合作交流、合作探究的能力,發(fā)展學習策略,培養(yǎng)創(chuàng)新能力。在小學英語教學的課堂上要培養(yǎng)學生自主學習和運用語言去做事的能力,力求用簡單生動、通俗易懂的方式來完成教學,鼓勵他們多積極表演,在課堂上大膽開
口進行交流,發(fā)掘他們身上的潛能,引導學生在學習中反思,在反思中學習,增強他們自我評價的意識,以利于學生終身學習和發(fā)展。

一 有這么一種說法:“要是你能記得20世紀60年代的任何事情,你就沒有真正經(jīng)歷過那段歲月。”對于在大麻煙霧中度過大學時光的那些人,這話可能是真的。但是,20世紀60年代有一件事人人都記得,那就是:上大學是你一生中最激動人心、最刺激的經(jīng)歷。
二 20世紀60年代,加州的高校把本州變成了世界第七大經(jīng)濟實體。然而,加州大學的主校園伯克利分校也以學生示威、罷課以及激進的政治氛圍而著名。1966年,羅納德?里根競選加州州長,他問加州是否允許“一所偉大的大學被喧鬧的、唱反調(diào)的少數(shù)人征服。”自由派人士回答說,大學之所以偉大正是因為它們有能力容忍喧鬧的、唱反調(diào)的少數(shù)人。

二 但是,使9/11 值得紀念并(用媒體喜歡的話來說)具有新聞價值的不僅僅是它的歷史性和國際性。還有震驚和恐懼。這一消息極度震撼,極具爆炸性。事發(fā)多年以后,許 多人還能清楚地記得他們第一次聽到這一消息時身在何處和當時正在做什么。他們能記得自己的反應:對全世界許多人來說,他們的第一本能是去把這一消息告訴別的人。這就證實了那句老話:“壞 事傳千里”。
三 一切重大新聞都是如此。我記得上小學的時候,老師臉色煞白地向一班吃驚的七歲孩子通報說,肯尼迪總統(tǒng)死了。我并不知道肯尼迪總統(tǒng)是誰,但是我聽到這一消息后非常不安,后來就跑回家去告訴了父母(當然,他們已經(jīng)知道了)。事實上,這是我最早的記憶之一。

五 奇特怪異并不意味著重大。就拿今天的《中國日報》上關于一只老鼠延誤了一架從越南飛至日本的航班這條消息為例吧。在河內(nèi)機場有人發(fā)現(xiàn)那只老鼠在一架飛機的過道里奔跑。它最終被12 名技術人員合力逮住,他們怕它會咬破電線,造成短路。飛機晚點了四個多小時才起飛。
六 你也許會說,這并不是具有重大國際影響的事件(除了少數(shù)乘客到另一國赴約遲到以外)。但是全球卻頗有反響,從亞洲經(jīng)蘇格蘭到美洲的電子版報紙都有轉(zhuǎn)載(《愛丁堡晚報》的標題是“捉老鼠延誤航班”)。
