英語作為一個(gè)大學(xué)生必備的素質(zhì)之一，其重要性是不言而喻的。為了提高同學(xué)們的英語口語水平，營造學(xué)習(xí)英語、應(yīng)用英語的良好氛圍，拓展大家的綜合素質(zhì)，豐富大家的文化底蘊(yùn)，促進(jìn)學(xué)院的學(xué)風(fēng)建設(shè)，同時(shí)也給廣大科院學(xué)子提供一個(gè)展示自我風(fēng)采的平臺和提高英語表達(dá)能力的機(jī)會，電氣與信息工程學(xué)院英語風(fēng)口語協(xié)會特舉辦2011年度“希望之星”英文演講大賽。

3、活動目的：

1）加深同學(xué)對英語口語重要性的認(rèn)識。

2）提高同學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)英語的積極性，特別是提高同學(xué)對英語口語訓(xùn)練的積極性。

3）豐富大學(xué)生的課余生活。

比賽規(guī)則：參賽選手隨機(jī)抽取一個(gè)字母，在規(guī)定時(shí)間2分鐘內(nèi)說出與以該字母開頭的單詞。（如抽到b----baby, banana等）每說出一個(gè)單詞得5分，說對6個(gè)得滿分，滿分30分。(范例如下)2)小學(xué)b、c組：字母組詞（2分鐘）

比賽規(guī)則：選手隨機(jī)抽取試題，試題上有若干個(gè)元音字母和輔音字母。選手自由選擇字母進(jìn)行組詞，字母可重復(fù)使用。每完成一個(gè)正確的單詞得5分，完成6個(gè)得滿分，滿分30分。(范例如下)3）初中d組：比劃猜（2分鐘）

比賽規(guī)則：參賽選手兩人一組，抽簽決定各自任務(wù)，一位選手根據(jù)試題上的單詞或短語用英語進(jìn)行描述或做動作，另外一名選手則猜出相對應(yīng)的單詞或短語。每猜對1個(gè)，猜中選手和做動作選手各得6分；猜對5個(gè)單詞或短語得滿分。沒有猜中，雙方皆不得分，也不扣分。

技巧：

1、與合作選手達(dá)成良好的默契；

2、對備考單詞非常熟悉；

3、反應(yīng)靈敏，當(dāng)選手尚未反應(yīng)時(shí)，選擇另一種方式詮釋；

4、適當(dāng)?shù)匕l(fā)揮想象，善于運(yùn)用肢體語言和周圍存在的具體事物；

5、不慌張，不急躁。注意事項(xiàng)：每組參賽選手均有10個(gè)單詞或短語，參賽選手猜對5個(gè)單詞或短語即可得滿分；此環(huán)節(jié)只有1.5分鐘時(shí)間，若比劃過程中遇到難度較大的單詞或短語，選手可以選擇跳過，繼續(xù)下一個(gè)單詞或短語向?qū)Ψ阶鰟幼鳎瑺幦≡谝?guī)定時(shí)間內(nèi)取得最好成績。4)高中e組、大學(xué)成人f組：即興辯論（2分鐘）

比賽規(guī)則:兩人一組，一對一進(jìn)行辯論，提前1分鐘進(jìn)入考場準(zhǔn)備，分組并隨機(jī)抽取對手及辯題

（辯題范圍涉及到網(wǎng)絡(luò)、道德、教育、運(yùn)動、健康、娛樂等）。1分鐘后開始辯論，闡

述自己的觀點(diǎn)，每個(gè)辯手有1分鐘時(shí)間。

選手準(zhǔn)備一個(gè)20秒英文個(gè)性自我介紹和一個(gè)40秒英語才藝展示。自我介紹要求語音零錯(cuò)誤，自信，流暢，自然。開場一定要在最短的時(shí)間內(nèi)抓住觀眾的眼球，吸引他們所有的注意力，給人留下深刻的印象。才藝展示要求選手有創(chuàng)意、有新意，在服裝和道具上有創(chuàng)新，可以借助非電子類的樂器，如ktv手搖鈴，快板，塤等，以能更好展示自己的英語能力為準(zhǔn)。★ 第二環(huán)節(jié)：定題演講(60秒)選手從以下兩個(gè)主題中任意選擇一個(gè)，準(zhǔn)備一個(gè)時(shí)長不超過60秒的定題演講，題目自擬。
