我的家鄉在內蒙古自治區，大家習慣于簡稱為內蒙古。內蒙古在戰國時屬趙、燕等國地，后為我國北方少數民族匈奴、東胡地，宋朝時屬遼、西夏，清朝時為內蒙古地區，1928年分為察哈爾省和綏遠省，1947年成立內蒙古自治區，首府呼和浩特，是我國建立最早的自治區。目前內蒙古有49個民族，主要以蒙古族和漢族為主，此外還有朝鮮、回、滿、達斡爾、鄂溫克、鄂倫春等民族。

內蒙古是“一代天驕”成吉思汗的故鄉，境內有不少名勝古跡，如坐落在鄂爾多斯草原中部伊金霍洛旗甘德利草原上的成吉思汗陵、象征民族團結的昭君墓、素有“小布達拉宮”美譽的五當召、席力圖召等。

但內蒙古最吸引人的還屬草原和沙漠。沙漠主要分布在西部地區，比較著名的有巴丹吉林沙漠、騰格里沙漠、庫布齊沙漠的響沙灣等。而以蒙古族為主體的草原民族風情則增添了秀美、淳樸、自然的神韻。內蒙古東部的呼倫貝爾大草原，中部的錫林郭勒草原、希拉穆仁草原都是感受草原風光的好去處。在零星散落的蒙古包映襯下，天空純凈明亮、草地遼闊壯麗、空氣清新、牛羊成群，對久居都市的人來說，這一切都是那么遙遠而親切。

呼倫貝爾草原是草原風光最絢麗的地方，擁有一億多畝草場，生長著堿草、針茅、冰草等120多種營養豐富的牧草，兩億多畝森林里植物品種多達1300余種，草原上還有500多個湖泊，3000多條河流。遼闊無邊的大草原就像是一塊天工織就的綠色巨毯，步行其上，那種柔軟而富于彈性的感覺非常美妙，人們定會為那“千里草原鋪翡翠”的景象而驚嘆。而綠草與藍天相接處，牛羊相互追逐，牧人舉鞭歌唱。每逢盛夏，草原上鳥語花香、空氣清新，星星點點的蒙古包上升起縷縷炊煙，微風吹來，牧草飄動，處處都是“風吹草低見牛羊”的景致，它被譽為世界上最美、最大、最沒有污染的幾大草原之一，真是當之無愧。

我的家鄉地大物博，物產豐盈。全自治區境內生長著經濟價值較高的野生植物660多種，藥用植物500多種，是中國中草藥生產的基地之一。草原上的鳥獸資源很豐富，鳥類以俗稱“飛龍”的榛(zhēn)雞最為著名，它的肉味鮮美，封建時代是御膳(shàn)珍品；獸類中的紫貂，是毛皮獸的佼佼者，貂皮被稱為東北三寶之一。鄂爾多斯的山羊絨，被譽為纖維寶石。還有炒米、奶茶、黃河鯉魚、河套蜜瓜、中華麥飯石、珍稀名貴的巴林彩石等，都是內蒙古著名的特產。其中顏色鮮艷、色彩美麗的巴林彩石，因其色澤柔和、質地細膩，與福建壽山石、浙江青田石、昌化雞血石并稱為中國四大名石，深受雕刻藝人和金石愛好者的垂青。

來到我的家鄉內蒙古一定要吃炒米、喝奶茶，不僅可以體驗一下牧人的特色食品，也能增加營養。奶茶是蒙古族牧民日常生活中不可缺少的飲料。奶茶需要細細品嘗，才能夠體會到味道之美，地道可口的蒙古奶茶應當是茶和奶的比例相當，既有茶的清香，又有奶的甘酥。喝奶茶時可以加少許食鹽，也可把鹽碟放在桌上，喜歡喝鹽味的就加鹽，不喜歡鹽味的就不加鹽。喝奶茶時泡著吃些炒米、黃油、奶豆腐和手把肉，既能溫暖肚腹，抵御寒冷的侵襲，又能夠幫助消化肉食，還能補充維生素。所以在牧區有一句俗話說：“寧可一日無食，不可一日無茶”。

這，就是我的家鄉—內蒙古，物產豐饒，具有民族特色，我為她感到驕傲。

一．比賽主題：enjoy speaking, enjoy english!二．指導思想 楓葉英語要求學生能熟練運用英語，像學習母語一樣去學習英語。英語演講比賽是一個展示語言運用能力和演講風采的好機會。每年的楓葉英語演講比賽是楓葉國際學校的品牌活動。

三.比賽目的此次活動旨在激發學生學習英語的熱情，激勵學生鍛煉英語聽說能力，充分調動學生學習英語的積極性，營造學習英語的良好氛圍。同時讓選手之間同臺競技，最終達到學習、競賽、交友的目的。讓學生明白演講需要注意的事項：體態語、演講內容、練習方法和演講心理,引導學生注重日常的積累和內容的構思,以及演講稿完成后師生間的相互評價、修改和反思。培養學生合作交流、自主學習等能力；并且有效地提高學生的演講技能和英語綜合水平；培養創新精神及英語思維能力，突顯特色，張揚個性。

獎項分為初中部和小學部：各設團體第一名、團體第二名、團體第三名團體獎和冠亞季軍獎各一名,其余參賽選手均可獲得優勝獎，均頒發榮譽證書。

十二．比賽規則： 1.初賽

各年級各班學生利用中英文閱讀時間由班主任和英語教師在班級內組織比賽。通過賽前抽簽將班級內同學按抽簽的號碼順序在講臺按決賽要求輪流進行英語演講。由英語老師給出評價，最終每班根據決賽規定名額選出參加決賽的同學。2.決賽

6月9日14:30，選手在教學樓二樓英語辦公室找裴海峰老師抽簽決定比賽順序。

決賽15名選手將在規定時間抽簽決定比賽順序參加比賽。首先為3分鐘定題脫稿演講；然后回答評委提出的問題，時間為一分鐘。（記時員將會舉牌計時，舉黃牌為時間還有10秒，紅牌為時間到。如出現成績并列，評委將提出問題，選手將回答問題，根據問答的評分標準最終評出晉級者）
