一個星期就要開口用英語對話，這簡直是天方夜譚。是放棄呢，還是進行最后一搏?我思忖著，仔細分析自己所面臨的處境：第一，我應聘的職位是辦公室文員，說英語機會應該不多，沒理由考難度大的專業類英語口語，考日常用語的可能性極大;第二，筆試時，我留意觀察了競爭對手們，我的條件絕對不差;第三，參加面試，我也沒什么損失。考慮好對策后，我便依照計劃按部就班地準備。第一步，我用中文寫下問題及相應答案，并假設自己是考官，想問考生哪些問題，諸如：“請介紹一下你的個人經歷”、“說說你的家庭狀況”、“你的業余愛好是什么”、“你為什么要到我們公司應聘”、“你對日本了解多少”等等大大小小凡能想到的問題，然后寫下自己的回答。第二步，用英文翻譯上面的問與答。這一步驟要求越規范越好。翻譯時沒把握好時，我便立刻翻看詞典、語法等工具書。第三步，背誦及模擬考試。自問自答地進行實戰演習，以便更好地適應面試。最后，我學習了幾句簡單的日本問候語，全面地翻看一下日本國情介紹，做到知己知彼。面試那天下午，我略施粉黛、身著職業裝進入考場，面對中日共六位考官，我首先用中日兩文說“下午好”。其后，所考的英文口語涉及到個人經歷、興趣愛好、日本國情等諸多問題，我從容應對總算過關。面試結束時，我在鞠躬之后真誠地說了一句：“請多關照”。沒過幾天，我便欣喜地收到了該公司的正式錄用通知書，艱苦一搏，我終于找到了走向社會的第一份工作。
