It is really a great honor to have this opportunity to introduce myself here/at *** University of Electronic Technology.To be frank, I hope I can make a good performance today.And then I am ready to answer your question now.Well, please allow me introduce myself.My Chinese name is SKY and 24 years old now.And I come from a quite distant place—northeast china－HLJ province.In winter, nearly everything will be cover with white snow in my hometown.And I’d like to see the wonderful scenery in spite of cold weather.I’m graduating from Inner Mongolia University Science and Technology which has a history of 55 years.Four years studying there made me independent，optimistic and active.I really appreciate the education my university gave me.During studying at my university, I major in applied physics which can make me realize a number of theories.Some of them, however, are very classics, such as quantum mechanics, theoretical mechanics, electrodynamics, statistical physics, Solid Physics, etc.But what I learned is far away from our daily life or industry products.Owing to that, I want change my major to be closed to daily life and products.Well, I find materials science is so interesting that I can’t help absorbing knowledge when I first touch it.In fact, I prefer to use three words to summarize my own characters.That is perseverance, honest and activity.First of all, I am a person with great perseverance.When I decide to do something which I am interested or feel worthwhile , I’m gonna to try my best/spare no effort to accomplish it no matter how difficult it is.Due to that, in the past 2 years, I devoted myself to studying, and then I have passed CET4/6, NCRE4(network engineer)and taken scholarship many times as well.Nevertheless, it’s not always correct to go on my own way or even make me in trouble.But I just want to see the results by myself.Because everything is not absolute and we can’t be sure it’s right or wrong before the consequence appearing.So, perseverance is both my advantage and disadvantage.Secondly, I deem honest is a basic manner to everyone, whatever your occupation, gender, race, age and so forth.Honest just like a bridge to link between people and other people.Well, if I want to be treated respectfully in our society, I have to ask me to be honest to treat my families, friends, classmates, teachers and even strangers.As an old Chinese saying goes, “Man without faith, are not made”.According to Chinese traditional cultures, I have been influenced deeply and take honest as a part of life.Finally, the last one is active.To be specific, I’m a loyal fan of sports.Nearly every sports meeting in our university, I would participate in without hesitation, though it’s quite difficult to get a good rank or award.Life is absent of sports just as plants lose the sunshine.Health guarantees us to do other thing smoothly.There are many of sport events which I like, such as jogging, tennis, football, skating, badminton, boxing and so on.Believe it or not, I trust that they can bring me inspiration about my studying when I’m taking exercise.Ha-ha.Well, as you know, my weakness is my math.But it’s not stand for my manual work badly.On the contrary, I consider my manual ability is superior to other fields.I desire to research something use in not only my manual ability but also my brain.What’s more, I just want to study something deeply.There is no chance to touch some fields deeply during my undergraduate.So, I decide to take the postgraduate entrance exam.My plans in postgraduate study include two steps.First step, I hope I can form my systematic view of material science.Second step base on first step, I wish to get complete comprehension of this field and acquire my own achievement.If possible, I’m gonna to go on with my study for doctorate degree.I'm eager to learn more about knowledge and I hope I can study further here.Thank you for giving me such a valuable opportunity!I am looking forward to being a student and studying here next time.Thanks again!
