In 2009, when everyone in China was saving money for real estate investments, I was putting money away so that I could come to the United States and study.This was not a popular decision among my family and friends.Why would I give up a great job and life to travel half way across the earth and become a poor college student again? 個人陳述：重點（每一個段落都要有一個主題，第一句話是主題，下面以此來展開，支持第一句。）

個人PS分以下幾點：

一：個人基本信息及情況（包括家庭狀況，學習情況，性格，個人特長）。

二：個人特長（對一的拓展）--主要介紹三個與專業相關的特征

每一個特長自成一段，第一句是對特征的總括，下面是例子的舉證。如領導力，就要舉出相應的例子進行證明。

三：專業計劃（由二過渡過來，因為個人情況，興趣，能力而選擇了這個專業）

第一句是選擇的專業，下面是對此專業認識及自己的遠景計劃。

四：選擇美國的原因及錄取后，畢業后的計劃

總括下此專業在美國的排名境況，然后規劃下自己在此專業的長遠計劃以及學成后的打算。

總之：PS要簡潔，明了，每一個段落多有其特色，相應的見模板，從模板中理解上面說的要點。按照上面的要求先寫出中文的PS。類似議論文或敘述文。

個人陳述寫作程序第二步：精簡想法

通過以上方法，相信很多內容會在你腦海中出現，比如目標，重要經歷，個人優勢等等，我們要把大量想法精簡，找出最能表現你自己的。你必須找出一個主題，這個主題不僅得將你的個性特征與經歷完美融合形成一個連貫整體，還要表達你對進入這所學校的強烈愿望。審理材料的也是一個正常人，也會疲憊，如何給一個每天閱讀50-100份類似文稿的人留下一個持久的印象并非易事，這就要求你的文章必須精簡，有想法，有主題，不能把所有你認為優秀的東西都列在上面，必須有所刪減。在刪減過程中要注意：你選的主題是否有利于突出你個人的價值?有沒有具體的事例以能更生動描述你的經歷?你的主題有噱頭嗎?你的主題是不是申請表上一些內容的簡單重復?文章中有支持主題的段落嗎?你能完整回答提出的問題嗎?能在限定的次數內充分表達你的觀點嗎?你的主題會牽扯到許多其他人嗎?例如信奉上帝，民主黨或共和黨……爭議性的東西最好不要出現在這些主題中。
