這三個對話就是在詢問對方的生日和對方的回答。用when來遇到的疑問句,表示詢問時間。

我們重點看下日期的表示,june fourth,6月4日。月份+序數詞表日期。

說到序數詞,之前我們已經學過了,那基數詞變為序數詞要怎么變呢。很簡單,同學們幾下變化口訣: 一、二、三,特殊記,詞尾字母 t,d,d;八減 t , 九減 e, f 來把 ve 替; 單詞 ty 作結尾,ty 變成 tie;若是碰到幾十幾,只變個位就可以。解析:

序數詞的用法:表示事物的順序叫序數詞。序數詞往往與定冠詞 the 連用。(1),1----3,沒有規律,要逐個記憶。one first;two second;three third;

(2).4-----12.有規律,其中 four, six , seven ,ten , eleven 是在基數詞的后面加上 th, 而 five fifth , eight eighth , nine ninth , twelve twelfth 是沒有規律,要逐個記憶。

(3).13------20 有規律,是在基數詞的后面加上 th 就行。

(4)第二十至第九十的整十的倍數都是在基數詞后將詞尾的-y 改為 i, 再加-eth 構成的。(5),十位以上的基數詞變成序數詞時,把個位數變成序數詞即可,十位數不變。第一百、第一千、第一百萬都是在基數詞的后面直接加上-th 構成。(6),序數詞的縮寫形式是由阿拉伯數字加上序數詞的最后兩個字母構成。一分鐘時間變看口絕不,邊把從1到30變成序數詞看會不會。等下我們來玩游戲。

游戲設計:

游戲1:準備好卡片協商基數詞和序數詞1—31,把數字卡片裝在一個開口的盒子里讓每個同學抽一張,抽到的同學依次讀出來并報出抽到數字的序數詞(抽到序數詞的讀出來)。游戲2:教師準備一個小紙箱,請學生將自己的生日日期用英語寫好投入箱中,再請同學輪流到前面來,每次上來4位,抽出任意一張紙條向全班同學讀,聽到自己的生日就站起來說:It’s my birthday.(每次上來4位,可以互相詢問月份名詞讀法)
