答辯注意事項:
一、答辯程序:
主要分為兩部分:自我陳述和回答問題,整個過程全部用英語完成。
1.自我陳述:
1)時間一般要求控制在 5 分鐘以內(nèi),要求簡明扼要;(不要贅述致謝。)
2)主要陳述內(nèi)容:
a.選題原因及意義;
b.論文主要內(nèi)容(簡要介紹論文內(nèi)容,即:在 xx 理論的指導下做了 xxx 調(diào)查,得出 xxx 結(jié)論,存在 xxx 問題或不足);
c.制作 PPT 時要特別注意只展示提綱內(nèi)容及個別典型例子,不要超過 8 張 PPT,每張 PPT 上字數(shù)不要超過 40 單詞;
d.最好提前準備好個人自述,但不能照著寫好的文字或 PPT 念,也不 能背誦摘要或論文中的內(nèi)容。
2.回答問題:
1)一般會有 2~3 個問題,時間 5~10 分鐘;
2)要聽清楚問題再回答,如果沒有聽清,可以要求老師重復或者解釋問題; 回答問題要切題,最好不要用背好的語句或答案,切忌沒有聽懂問題直 接背誦文章中的內(nèi)容或者例句答題;不要保持沉默,不會時表示歉意。
3)常見問題:
關(guān)于選題:Why do you choose this topic for your thesis? // Why were you interested in this topic?
關(guān)于選題意義:What’s the importance/significance in doing such a research/project? //What do you want the readers get from your thesis?
關(guān)于論文:

3)PPT 準備張數(shù)和內(nèi)容不要太多,每張 PPT 要注意美觀,不要長篇大段地 堆砌文字,必要時可充分利用圖表簡明扼要;
4)回答問題要切題,最好不要用背好的語句或答案,切忌沒有聽懂問題直 接背誦文章中的內(nèi)容或者例句答題

第二篇:英語專業(yè)畢業(yè)論文答辯流程及注意事項
答辯程序
1.學生參加論文答辯材料:
1)打印一式三份論文,答辯時交給論文答辯老師。
2)本科畢業(yè)設(shè)計(論文)答辯記錄一份,交答辯小組記錄員。答辯完后拿回自己的答辯記錄表,把答辯記錄內(nèi)容填入電子稿答辯記錄表。
2.答辯開始:答辯小組組長宣布答辯開始。
3.自我介紹:自我介紹姓名、學號。
論文陳述:學生自述論文,概括論文寫作目的,論文的結(jié)構(gòu)及各部分的主要 內(nèi)容,所作的研究和結(jié)果等。(5分鐘)
4.提問答辯:答辯小組提問(3-4個問題),學生回答(不超過10分鐘),具體操作由答辯組長掌控。
5.答辯評分:答辯小組中的三位教師根據(jù)答辯評分標準分別為每位學生評分,各組答辯結(jié)束后,小組討論后確定每位學生的最終答辯成績,并在畢業(yè)論文評審表上寫上評語并簽名。
成績評定
1.答辯成績評定:全部學生答辯完畢后,答辯小組討論確定學生的答辯成績;根據(jù)學生答辯的實際情況寫出答辯評語,答辯的評分標準見畢業(yè)論文成績評審表。答辯評審表一式兩份,填好相關(guān)內(nèi)容,并簽名,由答辯組長交教務秘書存檔。
2.論文成績評定:畢業(yè)論文成績評定小組根據(jù)指導教師評分、評閱教師評分、答辯小組評分,以學校對畢業(yè)論文總成績構(gòu)成的要求,按優(yōu)、良、中、及格和不及格五級評定學生畢業(yè)論文成績。再按照學校有關(guān)規(guī)定,以不超過答辯學生人數(shù)20%的比例向?qū)W校推薦參評的優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)論文。
填寫答辯資格審查表中的指導老師意見(之前可由指導老師電子稿填寫)期間完成答辯記錄(由學生互相記錄后給答辯學生打印到過程管理材料上)。
注意事項
1.畢業(yè)論文答辯方式由英文學院組成的答辯小組進行口試答辯,答辯所用語言
為英語。
2.每個答辯組由三名以上教師組成。論文指導教師不對自己所指導的學生的論文答辯與提問,即答辯學生分組時,實行指導老師回避制。
3.評閱教師在論文答辯前應仔細閱讀學生的論文,并圍繞學生的論文中心準備好答辯中要提出的問題。
4.答辯開始時,要求學生能脫稿進行5分鐘的畢業(yè)論文內(nèi)容、觀點等的陳述。如陳述超時,答辯小組組長有權(quán)中止。
5.由教師提問,問題不少于三個,學生逐一回答教師的提問。對教師提問與學生的回答,記錄員應做好詳細的書面記錄。每個學生的答辯時間不少于15分鐘。
6.學生應依次認真回答教師提出的問題,不得回避。確實回答不了的問題應予以聲明,直至答辯組長認為答辯可以結(jié)束為止。
7.每位學生完成答辯后,答辯教師應及時按照英文學院畢業(yè)論文答辯評分標準各自給該生一個成績。答辯組以各位老師打分的平均成績作為該生的答辯成績。各答辯小組長要確保畢業(yè)論文評閱書上的各項內(nèi)容填寫完整、簽字齊全。
8.評閱與答辯老師在閱讀與答辯學生論文時如發(fā)現(xiàn)語言方面的錯誤,在學生完成答辯后有責任向該生提出修改意見。學生應根據(jù)答辯教師和答辯小組提出的意見和建議對論文作相應的修改。學生需要完善的論文正稿與過程管理材料必須在答辯后連同電子版一起按時上交教學秘書,不合要求的將退回重改。
八、成績登分、論文打印及檔案歸檔
2013年6月5日前完成以下工作:
1.畢業(yè)論文成績的登分工作,按不超過20%的比例評出優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)論文;
2.畢業(yè)論文成績評定委員會負責論文材料(紙質(zhì)版及電子版)的整理、歸檔工作:
歸檔材料包括:畢業(yè)論文任務書、開題報告、文獻綜述、畢業(yè)論文、論文評閱書、論文指導記錄、論文中期檢查表(指導教師用)以及論文中期進展情況檢查表等論文管理手冊。
3.論文打印裝訂要求:
1)論文封面沒有頁眉線,論文在前,過程管理材料在后(過程管理材料頁碼上不需要頁眉與頁碼)
2)打印的用紙要求采用標準A4型(297mm×210mm)打印紙或復印紙印制。
3)頁面設(shè)置:
畢業(yè)論文要求縱向打印(單面打?。?,頁邊距的要求為:
上(T):2.8 cm下(B):2.8 cm
左(L):3.0 cm右(R):3.0 cm
裝訂線(T):0.5cm裝訂線位置(T):左
其余設(shè)置采取系統(tǒng)默認設(shè)置。
4)頁眉、頁腳設(shè)置
頁眉:按提供的論文模板設(shè)置。
頁腳:設(shè)置頁碼,居中放置。

英語專業(yè)畢業(yè)論文答辯
英語本科的論文答辯主要分為兩部分:自我陳述和回答答辯老師問題,下面對這兩部分進行詳細講解。
一、自述(用英語完成):
1、先問好,再開始自述,自述時間為5-10分鐘,要簡明扼要,必須將自述內(nèi)容提綱制作成Powerpoint文件。
2、主要陳述內(nèi)容(即Powerpoint文件主要內(nèi)容):
(1)自己選擇這個題目的原因;
(2)設(shè)計和實施的簡單過程(如,商務方向:采用什么方法來搜集信息、資料等);
(3)自己論文的主要內(nèi)容(不要念論文,最好用4、5句話簡單介紹論文內(nèi)容,如,商務方向:做了哪些調(diào)查,得出什么結(jié)論,計劃如何實施項目);
(4)仍然存在的問題(如,商務:在實施項目中可能會遇到的風險以及如何解決);
3、最好準備相關(guān)文字并熟記(答辯時要脫稿陳述,但是可以看PPT文件)。
4、語言最好簡單清楚,不要直接用論文中內(nèi)容,應該用解釋性的句式,如:When I was designing the lessons, I found that….二、回答老師問題(老師用英語提問,學生用英語回答):
1、大約有6-8個問題,時間將持續(xù)10-15分鐘。
2、首先要聽清楚問題,如果沒有聽清,可以要求老師重復問題(可以說pardon之類的話)。
3、回答時首先要態(tài)度好,要切題,而且不要保持沉默,不會時可以表示抱歉。
4、常見問題:
(1)關(guān)于選題:如Why did you choose this topic for your paper?或Why were you interested in this project?
(2)關(guān)于具體部分:
商務方向:SWOT,COSTING,F(xiàn)LOWCHART,RISK,STAKEHOLDER,如Do you think this point a piece of weakness of the shop?或Do you think this a necessary activity for the project?
(3)關(guān)于背景知識及理論知識:如What does SWOT stand for?(商務)
(4)關(guān)于論文存在的問題:如In the last sentence on page … there are some grammatical errors.(5)關(guān)于項目或論文將來的發(fā)展:如:商務方向:If possible, will you carry out the project, and if so, do you think it will make profit?
5、帶一份定稿(要與老師們持有的論文頁碼一致)。
6、最后要向老師們表示感謝。
三、Powerpoint文件內(nèi)容(英文):
1、不要太多內(nèi)容,最好在5-10個幻燈片。
2、字號最好是:封面標題44-50;各頁標題40-44,正文24-32。
3、內(nèi)容最好是提綱式的,不要用長句,也最好不用單詞,可以用簡單句子或短語。
4、具體內(nèi)容與上面提出的自述內(nèi)容一致,這樣有利于自述。
5、格式一般是:封面(題目和姓名)-目錄-各方面內(nèi)容-結(jié)束頁(可以表示感謝)。

Presentation Good morning, committee members(distinguished professors and teachers).I am ***, and my supervisor is ***.Firstly, I want to express my sincere gratitude to my supervisor for her constant encouragement and guidance, valuable comments and instructions.It is with her assistance that I finally accomplished my paper.Secondly, I will give a short presentation about my paper.The title of my paper is The Analysis of Totalitarianism in Animal Farm.I choose this book due to the following reasons.First, I am keen on history.Animal Farm is a book reflecting history of Soviet Union from the October Revolution of Russia to 1940s.Second, I’d love to read fable, this book is a political fable.George Orwell describes a revolution of its preparation, process and result, initiated by animals on Manor Farm.I think the plot may be very interesting.In the main part of the paper, I divide it into four parts.The first part is a brief introduction of background information of totalitarianism, the implication of the research of totalitarianism in modern society and the reason choosing this book as an example.The second part is the literature review, mainly discussing the concept of totalitarianism, giving the introduction of George Orwell and Animal Farm and talking about overview of studies on Animal Farm.The third part focuses on the analysis of totalitarianism in Animal Farm, from aspects of civilization, system, utilitarianism and responsibility.Through the analysis of pigs’ behavior and the terms of governing in the book, readers can deeply understand that how totalitarian rulers implement and consolidate their ruling step by step.The last part draws a conclusion and elaborate the significance of this research.In my opinion, whether during Cold War or in the modern society, the essential factors of totalitarianism will be along with the development of society, but the forms are different from that of 1940s.One of the symbols of totalitarianism today is terrorism.After 911, the United Nations and many nations were devoted to fighting against the terrorists, such as a terrorist incident in Xinjiang, China, terrorism in Pakistan, the suicidal bombing in Israel, etc.These horrifying events make us live in a dangerous situation.So it is vital for us to equip with basic knowledge of totalitarianism for the purpose of better understanding and analyzing of terrorism, and to know the urgent necessity to fight against terrorists.That’s all, thank you.
