About Les Miserables

I spent several months finally finishing reading this novel——Les Miserables.It’s one of the most famous novels in the French literature as well as a representative work of Victor Hugo.I closed the book and the miserable world of this novel seems to appear in front of my eyes.But the love and goodness lighted up all the book and took me to a bright world from this darkness world.In the preface,Hugo pointed out “As long as the social restrictions caused by laws and customs still exist, the human society would be turned to be a hell and people will suffer from inevitable disasters.If we couldn’t get rid of the following three issues existing in this century——men are getting down because of poorness, women are turning to be degenerate because of starving, children are becoming weak and helpless because of pervasive darkness of the world”.In the peace society,we live a quiet life.But in 19th century,the God made a fun of a goodness person who named Jean Valjean and gave him a miserable world and unfair destiny.Why such a good man had been relentlessly playing tricks on fate from God's punishment?Why even a man did a great deal of good deed but by once a wrong thing will never return to a good man?That’sall for the sake of the social contradictions.The story strongly tells us the fact that the tragedy people are suffering is exactly the tragedy of the whole society.Jean Valjean born in a poor family and his father died in his childhood.Because of the stress of life,he stole a piece of bread and was put into prison for 19 years.Then,his prison term was extended for escaping from jail.After Jean Valjean escaping from prison,nobody was willing to help him even looked at him with strange eyes.He didn't even have a place to stay overnight and even a dogs was willing not to accept him.When Valjean was in despair,a virtuous bishop took him in church.The old man won many people's respect and love with his kindness.I still remember what he said that this door does not ask the names of the men came in, but to ask him if he has pain.Do you have pain?If you are hungry and thirsty, here will be your home.Such a humane man!The bishop used his love to influence a convict who was just out of prison.He washed Valjean’s soul and reflected the mercy of people.From then on,Valjean decided to be honest and kindness and he did it.2-Yolanda About Les Miserables

《悲慘世界》讀后感

《悲慘世界》作者維克多·雨果(Victor Hugo，1802年2月26日～1885年5月22日)，法國浪漫主義作家，人道主義的代表人物，19世紀前期積極浪漫主義文學運動的代表作家，法國文學史上卓越的資產階級民主作家，被人們稱為“法蘭西的莎士比亞”。

記得我最開始接觸雨果的作品，就是他那部舉世聞名的《巴黎圣母院》了，但是當時一直最欣賞最心疼最惋惜的人物不是敲鐘人，而是主教。眼睜睜看著他的心在煎熬在壓抑在克制在扭曲，竟然生出一種悲憫的情懷。也因此開始看雨果的其他作品，其中就有這部《悲慘世界》。一口氣看完之后，感觸最深的便是：這是一個悲慘的世界，卻無法玷污高尚的靈魂。

在書中，出獄后的冉阿讓背負著囚犯的身份，飽受著他人的歧視。社會的不公與排斥，一點點的磨滅了他重新做人的希望，改過向善的信心。是慈悲為懷的主教伸出慷慨的，無私的援助之手收容了走投無路的冉阿讓。他不僅不計較冉阿讓偷他的銀器具，反而將那一對銀制燭臺送給了他并叮囑道：“答應我一定要把這些錢用到好的地方。把這些銀器賣掉，用這些錢讓自己過得好一些。”我深深的感悟到，原來，在當時那個無情的資本主義社會竟然也有這樣的世外圣人存在，正是主教的寬大和仁慈深深感化了冉阿讓，是他重新燃起了冉阿讓心中那快熄滅的希望之火，使他徹底悔悟，開始新的生活。所以說，冉阿讓的命運并不是永遠都是那么的悲慘，悲慘的是那時候的整個世界觀，就是因為有了主教這樣的人，整個世界才有了救世主，整個世界才有可能在水生火熱之中艱苦摸索前進。

我從中看到了一個人性的轉變，在主教的感化下，冉阿讓開始變得樂于助人，見義勇為得到人民的愛戴，搖身一變成了受人尊敬的市長。這一切得轉變使我既倍感欣慰。從囚犯到市長，簡直是天壤之別，這無疑是人性的巨大轉變。看了這本書后我渾身充滿了正能量只要人人都獻出一份愛，整個社會將會變得更美好，我希望社會上多多出現像冉阿讓一樣，將自己無限的愛奉獻給身邊每一個這樣的人，那樣，我們的社會不是會變得更加美好嗎?

《悲慘世界》讀后感

《悲慘世界》,這部世界文學史上的不朽之作，從它被創作的那一刻起，便注定要震撼人們的心靈，深深嵌入世人的靈魂。

在暑假的時光里，我又一次翻開了已經讀過一遍的，再一次細細的品味了一遍，感覺已然不同于第一次的略讀了。

書的開頭，冉阿讓從監獄因刑滿而釋放。他痛恨這個世界。但米里哀主教改變了他。剛出獄的冉阿讓偷了米里哀主教兩個銀燭臺，主教卻說這是送給冉阿讓的禮物，還把另一些銀制品送給了他。主教對冉阿讓說的一句話至今還讓我影響深刻：“冉阿讓，我的兄弟，您現在已經不是惡一方面的人了，您是在善的一面了。我贖的是您的靈魂，我把他從黑暗的思想和自暴自棄的精神里救出來，交還給上帝。”從此開始，他懂得了把仇恨化作寬容，將愛傳遞下去。

但，一個苦役犯是不受社會認可的，不論他為社會做過多少貢獻。雨果通過寫冉阿讓被揭發后的悲慘命運來表達自己的人人平等的思想。人之初，性本善。每個人最初都是善的，是人們無情的把他們踩在了社會的底層。而且，我們不應帶著一副有色眼鏡去看待別人。一個做過壞事的人，不一定永遠是壞人。

愛是與生俱來的，所以可以認為是人性的特質，換言之，愛是作為人必須具備的本質之一。雨果還寫了一個特殊的人物——沙威。他本是一個冷酷的，盲目崇拜政府的人。他一味的執行他認為對的事，不管人情。但，他最后也被冉阿讓感染了，因為人的本性是善的。雨果也通過寫德納第夫婦行為的丑陋來襯托出了冉阿讓的高尚。

書中也有很多描寫法國大革命的場景，雨果崇尚平等、民主、自由，作為一個革命的先行者，在雨果的作品中也可以明顯地展現出來。最后的冉阿讓，在他的兒女的親吻中死去，他很幸福，前所未有的幸福環繞著他……

“愛，便是眾天使向群星的膜拜。”雨果通過冉阿讓的形象完美地詮釋了愛的真正含義。讓我們也像冉阿讓那樣，通過自己的微薄之力，守護這世界上的愛與和平，將愛傳播到每一個角落吧！！
