莊鄉第六中心小學在五年級教室舉行了“小學生英語口語演講比賽”。本次比賽由高年級的英語老師和英語教研組組長擔任評委，三四五六年級各班的優秀學生參加了比賽。比賽中，每個選手均以《my favourite...》或《ilike...》為題目，進行了為時1分鐘的脫稿演講內容不限。采取現場打分、現場公布比賽分數的透明形式，公平、公正地分別從語音、語調、肢體語言、以及現場感染力等方面對參賽學生進行綜合、客觀的評價。賽場上小選手們個個表現出色，發音標準、演講生動有趣，很好地展示了學生良好的英語口語水平，博得了評委老師的一致好評。
